Hey I know this is about two years in, but I'm currently on this episode (I probably would have been in Season 5 a long time ago). I like to follow along and take notes. Sometimes I like to use the transcript to help with my note taking. So I love the episodes and I love how y'all break down and give scriptures and how y'all connect the scriptures to make sense; one of the many things I like about being a member of the Church of Christ. I only have two issues: when one of y'all is in the middle of talking and read the scripture or making a point, the other begins talking and making his point and then y'all begin to overlap each other and I'm having to constantly rewind to hear what's being said so I can write it down and it makes it hard. Because I really want to be able to take good notes. The other thing is when something is said, for example around the 3:39-3:45 Mark when Aaron was given the summary and he said, as he was putting up fingers-you have the Jewish branch and you have the Jewish branch. I got stuck on that part because I'm trying to figure out if he meant you have the Jewish branch and you have the Gentile branch. I know I said a lot just to make two points but it's just things like that to consider. Because, when I'm taking these notes, it's to help me when I go out there and try to evangelize to non-members non-Christians. Other than that, Aaron, Scott, and Tucker (though he isn't there) are all doing a great job! ❤️🙏🏾

In keeping with the commandments for worship do we need to strictly abide by every single example. In other words, how would you approach the debate on using multiple cups during communion? Also, if the bible says wine/fruit of the vine, regardless of the supposed semantic shift, would alcoholic wine be just as accepted as grape juice? These are sticking points for many in the body of Christ that have caused disfellowship. We know these commandments are not meant to be confusing and were for the common man to read and understand, however, common men have come to different conclusion through a sincere desire to follow God's commandments.

GOD'S Plan For Our Salvation...(Short/Condensed Version) The Holy Bible definitely teaches that there are steps that a person must take in order to be Saved and to come to CHRIST. We Must Hear the Gospel of CHRIST, for Faith comes by Hearing the Word of GOD (Romans 10:17). A person must Hear. The fact that we have sinned, GOD loves us, and CHRIST died for us is learned when the gospel is preached. In Every case of conversion found in the book of Acts, people first had to Hear...Romans 10:17, John 5:24, Acts 2:37, Acts 8:6, Acts 8:35; Acts 9:6, Acts 10:33, Acts 16:14, Acts 16:32, and Acts 19:5. As we Hear we learn that we have sinned...Romans 3:23, that GOD loves us...John 3:16, and that CHRIST died for us...Romans 5:8. Without Hearing the Gospel Of CHRIST, we Cannot come to CHRIST...John 6:44-45. Upon Hearing GOD'S Word, we must Believe...Mark 16:16, John 6:47. A woman cannot speak or teach men in church meetings or church assemblies or congregational church service meetings as per 1 Corinthians 14:33-37 and 1 Timothy 2:11-12. Women must remain or be Silent in the churches of our LORD and GOD. A man must not wear a head covering or a veil whenever he prays to GOD and a woman must wear a veil or head covering whenever she prays to GOD as per 1 Corinthians 11:1-16. Our GOD is Composed of Three Spiritual Divine Beings...our Heavenly FATHER, HIS Only Begotten SON and our LORD and MESSIAH and CHRIST, and our HOLY SPIRIT. They All make up One GOD in Unified Oneness or One in Unity, One in Purpose, One in the Way, One in the Complete Truth, One in Patience, One in Meekness, One in Everlasting, One in Justice, One in Righteousness, One in Mercy or Mercifulness, One in Holiness, One in Hope, One in Perfect/Perfection, One in Harmony, One in Love, Etc.

Believe is not a work... batism , going to church. Etcetera are works. God made believe possible its like the grace .and faith s gift of god. Salvation by grace, trough faith, not by ouwer selves..( the grace and faith) but its a gift of god. And recieving a gift (its free we dont have to do anything for it ) is not a work

The problem I have is not whether baptism is necessary but the controversy never seems to include what baptism accomplishes. I never hear that salvation is from sin, (Matthew 1:21) when the old sinful man is crucified with Christ and the very nature of sin is destroyed. (Romans 6:3-7) The motions of sin no longer work in our bodily members. (Romans 7:5-6) This is salvation through sanctification. (2 Thessalonians 2:13) If baptism doesn’t sanctify us, then it doesn’t save us. It is only the beginning, it brings us into a life of bearing the fruit of holiness which leads to the END, everlasting life. (Romans 6:22) Grace gives us the power to serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear, and thereby escape the consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:28-29)

Go deeper, don't get distracted by objects, explore the idolatry of Christians, modern society etc. Focus on what prompted Jesus to call Peter "Satan".

Legalism is believing that your good works will get you into heaven when it’s God grace and salvation that’s going to save you. That belief is pretty major in our faith. You’re saved by grace and not by works. We must be mindful of this I believe.

We cannot fulfil the law… that’s the point, no-one can love to this extent. The Parable reveals the failure of everyone to obey the 10 commandments. Summed up we are lost sinners, we cannot obey the Law, who can love to this extent, no-one… at this point, the hearer will realise they’re lost (That’s the Laws purpose) The characters are fiction.

One great reason I love the Lords Church is how we conduct ourselves. The Bible is our authority and when we are challenged we don’t make silly remarks or sarcastic remarks at least from the debates I’ve seen from the COC. we debate with scripture. The comment he made on the beginning tell a lot of times white. Keep up the good Lords work.

My Testimony of god and christ is quickened Hallelujah. I am working through the ministry of the devil to lie, kill, steal and destroy and have encountered a recent war with the devil because of this.
