The Gildas club of Chicago holds a breast cancer support group once a month. I decided to take my 10-year-old daughter to the Look Good Feel Better class held by the American Cancer Society then right after that was the support group.
The LGFB class helps teach how to put on makeup & wigs while going through chemo. Its easy to look at yourself & have a whirlwind of emotions when everything starts to change. You just want to feel normal again.
