This was the first CD I ever owned. I got it for my 8th Birthday. I still pop it in my old SpongeBob CD player from time to time 😭🙏❤
This soundtrack made me associate Ska and Pop Punk with Digimon. They go surprisingly well together, lol.
"Run Around" I also recall being played a few times in the English Dub of Adventure 02. It's a banger. 2x moments I remember are during Flamedramons' first battle with Monochromon in Episode 1 as well as the fight with Shurimon vs Ninjamon when the 02 cast are at the Gekomon town.
The OST for the Digimon movie was so good. So many classic bangers. Digimon the Movie introduced me to Mighty Mighty Bosstones and I'm so glad it did.

Loved this movie's soundtrack as a kid. This, along with Tony Hawk Pro Skater's soundtrack shaped my taste in music.

Yeah that is a hell of a moment: I love the butterfly use in the sub but I’d be lying if I tried to pretend the dub with “hey digimon” didn’t hit me in the feels

I honestly like Change Into Power. It served as a nice change of pace in the first season from "Hey Digimon" being the only song being used at all.

Highly recommend Escape from the Zoo’s album Counting Cards. Them and Jer are my top favorites in ska / punk right now

This soundtrack and the soundtrack from Surf’s Up make up so much of my musical taste from childhood, and almost all of the music from that time that wasn’t from the 60s or 70s that my parents and older siblings liked. It really feels like my personal music
I was at the gym the other day and they were playing Less Than Jake. Never knew what Ska was or long how long i continued listening to it all thanks to Digimon. Forever grateful ❤ it's still crazy to me how when i here these songs still playing I immediately think of Digimon lol
I still have this CD and sometimes put it on to pump me up to clean my apartment haha. One Week was the perfect song for that scene in the movie, and every time I hear it I can only think of Digimon. Also, when the show Derry Girls talked about Fatboy Slim in one episode, I knew who that was thanks to this album.
I bought the album and have fell in love with it I truly love the diversity of the songs especially the hidden tracks
I remember when I was 7 and my parents had bought me this right before we rode the bus to Colorado to visit family for a couple of weeks and I was listening to this on my CD player on repeat the whole way. Great memories man!

If it wasn’t for this album. I would’ve never become a fan of ska. Nor would I have ever become a fan of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Less Than Jake. Plus the cover of kids in America by LEN is my personal favorite. And the cherry on top was featuring music from the show. Thank you Saban.
One Week was the big hit from the band until Big Bang Theory sitcom landed on the airwaves and the theme song for that was the new hit

Maaaan, I was 10-11 when the movie came out and I still remember the entire soundtrack 😂 Definitely had many familiar sounds and songs of that time.

The digimon movie soundtrack and pokemon 1st movie soundtracks, were basically the start of my cd collection phase growing up with both when i was 8-9 during that timespan with my allowance money i saved up for both at the time. Good times. Plus both soundtracks introduced me as a kid with the fun world of music learning about different genres at the time. :)

this vid almost reads and sounds like an april fools joke but also a genuine praise of the album. but i wont complain. i loved "all my best friends are metalheads" and still play it on my daily work commute
lol yeah i went with a weird tone in this one. Kinda wanted to pretend like all the songs were legit written FOR the film (i.e. Barbie soundtrack) but also genuinely love this album. Thanks for watching !
