Huge difference between refraction and glow in the dark. Check out 3M reflective tapes vs glow in the dark paints... the reflective stuff fires light right back at it's source making it very bright appearing and noticeable. Glow in the dark has improved over the years but is not as noticeable in the dark when lights are shining on the area. GID paint works best when charged in light and then viewed in serious darkness.

I have this strange idea. Why not ban cars and allow only cyclists or electric motorcyclists in special zones of the city? It would cut down on noise, pollution and injury and traffic? Take a bus or train to the parking lot and pick up your bike. In many cities nowadays it's faster to get out and walk because the traffic is so bad.
No. You want to make cyclists safer? Then give us protected bike lanes, solid infrastructure. Instead, you want us lit up like a Christmas tree to do a quick ride to the store. FFS. Stop it with the insanity. Bicycle Infrastructure = Safe Cycling. It's not rocket science 😠

How is this different from glow in the dark spray paint from a functionality standpoint? I don't get this.
You need a black UV light for glow in the dark paint, this is a reflective spray that reflects light.
