2. think of the body in 3D shapes

@@squarerootofmimi Hahaha, I always use a reference lol. It helps me better practice my anatomy skills and shows you how clothes fold on the body, different positions, etc etc :)
@@mimi-yl5bu Drawing without a reference wouldn’t even make sense tbh. Your memory isn’t going to be as realistic as the actual thing, so it’s always better to use one ^^.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, I bought a tablet with a screen for 240 euro so maybe like 220 usd or something, I love it and don't personally think it was a waste. But my mindset when I bought it was that if I got a good tablet I'd get much better at art and that couldn't be further from the truth. You can see people saying it's there first time in digital art and the art looks really good so all I can say is: expensive equipment = Speed and convinence, not talent
@@aebiia Xp pen artist 12. Gone down to 200 dollars and honestly I can't find a catch. Great size, 8192 pen pressure levels (I think), six changeable button along with a bar that's basically a scroll weel. There's one button on the side of the pen and an eraser on the back. Haven't had any problems with it in the year I've been using it so def recommend. Also sorry you just asked for the name not an ad read lmfao

I’ve been drawing for almost two years and I must say the stabilizer tip is a lifesaver! I used to spend hours on line art alone because the lines weren’t as crisp and clean- but after using a stabilizer tool (Correction tool in Medibang) it saved a lot of time and my lines look nicer lmao

I’ve been doing digital art for a little over a year now. It’s definitely a process to figure out everything from the settings, brushes, etc. I personally use an iPad and just started using procreate (I at first used autodesk sketchbook), so seeing your process helps! Your way of coloring is really pretty, I love the vibrant colors ^^ 💖

I’m so happy that u said u can use IBISPAINT as an alternative cause I make all my digital art on it I’ve learned how to draw semi realistic hair and female characters on yt and I use ibis paint for actual art and to test things out and it may not have all the cool brushes but it’s easy to use and after knowing how the things work you can do completely free handed and u can also use a tool where u can make shapes like a perfect circle as a base for a head/face

after my ipad broke, i invested in a small graphic tablet. it's very small compared to what these artists use. its the huion 420 one. it very compact, light weight and awesome if you're a beginner! i wouldn't really suggest investing in a big tablet at the start because you never know if youre gonna quit or not its gonna be a huge waste. i've had the tablet for an year now, it has no buttons on the tablet but two on the pen. the quality is good, and it comes with 3 to 4 extra nibs. i'd recommend buying it if you're starting fresh and wanna learn drawing because its cheap too!!

i personally use a huion h420 its REALLY cheap mine was like 20-30 bucks but its really small

For a beginner drawing tablet, obviously it’s going to cost you more- but the base iPad ( or even better an older one) and an Apple Pencil, and then Procreate! If you already have an iPad compatible with an Apple Pencil, then great. This will last you so much longer than a budget model tablet, though I understand that even the more budget orientated iPads and Apple Pencil can still be out of people’s budget.
What I mean by it lasting longer, is even professionals use them as they’re a great tool! And even if you dislike the whole digital art thing, you’ve got a cool iPad to play around with ;)

Getting a digital art tablet has opened up a lot of possibilities for me! I'm able to do more realistic drawing because I have all of the resources on my app. It's also amazing to me that I have ALL the colors and don't have to buy them! It's definitely worth it if you're thinking of buying one 😁❤️
