If you want a simpler version of that "vintage" effect (which is really a light glow effect), you can get the blur brush, lower the opacity, and there u go.

If you go to settings and turn on "Reference Window" you can load an image separate to the canvas, in which the eyedropper tool works

To be fair tho, I didn't explore the app enough 'cuz i just draw and sketch whenever i want.

Actually in the reference window while it won't turn into a colorpallet you can still use the eyedrop tool to pick colors from your reference. Atleast thats what I remember from using Ibispaintx.
Ibis paint x is the easiest one i know to edit
i use both Ibis Paint and Procreate, it’s difficult to learn when it has hidden features or user interfaces

Kooleen, I was fucking TODAY YEARS OLD when I watched this video and realized this app has the Bézier curve drawing tool AND IT LETS YOU FILL IT WITH COLOR I FEEL SO STUPUD 😭
1:26 you can also just color white over it, ig it’s faster but like, you can just find like one color that will fit over the spec or just find the layer it can’t take that long

1 - screen shot the qr code photo
2 - go into ibis and go into brushes
3 - there should be three dots in the top corner, press on it
4 - it will give you the option to import or export, choose import.
5 - it will ask you to select a photo, select the qr code one
6 - and boom ur done!
if this isnt detailed enough you could watch a 2 min tutorial on youtube!

also, this is how to make is follow the rotation
so go to settings of the brush and scroll until you see a button called “following rotation”
and click it and just start drawing lol
A tip for the 2nd one: if you have a bg make the bg layer not visible then erase it

For getting rid of random splotches on the side and you can't find the layer, I have everything in a folder so i can select the folder and erase it
