I love watching your content. Krita is a ride or (non exist) for me. I use it mainly on my computer and used to use it on my tablet. It was a gateway for Clip Studio honsetly. The pen pressure should automatically work but it could depend om your device😭
I don’t see a timer on the mobile version of ibis paint, but I use ibis paint x so Idek- Anyway, your drawings all still turned out very ✨s m e g z i e✨ your taking over the world with your art Kween🤧
Yeah there is definitely a learning curve with Krita-i too was so confused when I first used it. But it’s pretty nice when you get used to it. Of all the free drawing apps I’ve used, it’s my favorite. I really like the brushes, but I wish the interface was more user friendly. However, I am now tempted to try medibang. I’ve only ever used the mobile version, and I wasn’t a fan.
@@junesharkowo same-plus, I would only want medibang for the Timelapse feature, and my computer is so old that when it’s on I can’t draw😭 the lag is too bad
What I personally like about Krita is that you can turn on and off the eraser on your current brush, so it's just a one click on the stylus and you can use the transparent color. Maybe I'm stupid, but in Clip Studio I can't find similar option, so if you want to use your brush as an eraser you have to pick the transparent color and then change the color again to continue coloring. I switch between an actual color and transparent one a lot in my art style, so even though I like Clip Studio Paint for the amount of cool options, I tend to draw in Krita when I just want to enjoy drawing instead of fighting with the transparent brush option in Clip Studio
Yeah, Ibis paint does the same thing to me- But all you gotta do is delete it and install it again and it'll still have your past art work in them! AND BTW, I FREAKING LOOOVE YOUR VIDEOS, I hope to draw well like you one day!

@@StillaMarls yknow, black people can have naturally straight hair and from what ive seen its usually in africa, me personally i have coily 4C hair but your nose and facial features are completely on genetics because alot of Africans have hooked noses, i cant relate tho i have a small nose.
I use Krita, and yeah, when I first used it, it wasn't the easiest, but I got a lot of it figured out and still figuring out a lot of things. It is a pretty good drawing software if you're broke as a joke but if you like to learn more complex softwares like it.
No, I’m not a fan of kooleen and what she said regarding black people and their features was wrong, but y’all are really stretching it now. The thumbnail obviously is not being racist, people are saying things like “why is the dark skin always bad” but right next to it it shows the pale skin girl with the title “ugly”. At least in this video thumbnail, I really just think she is shitting on the apps, not the people. Also, I just wanted to say that the girl she drew looks more south Asian than black because of her facial features and hair (yes, I know it is possible for black people to have straight/wavy hair and smaller noses and lips, but it still looks more like a south Asian person in my opinion, coming from me who is south Asian myself)
I looove Krita! And it does detect pen pressure, I don't know why yours isn't working, there must be a way to fix that. Krita has a great variety of brushes, it feels so good to paint in that program, and you can also do animation with it, it's great!
@@chwryyyy And how many times have you drawn poc well? (I added the word ‘well’ because someone sent me picture of their poc drawing and being brutally honest, they were total crap.)

idk if everyones aware abt this too but she made stereotypes about how mexican people look and made fun of edges as well as making fun of the japanese language a bit. shes a good artist but the way she uses her platform overall is jst so unnecessarily negative or rude even if she sees it in a joking way. she can give good advice when she wants to but most of the time shes jst making fun of newer artists for her own entertainment :/
i've never had a problem with her until now, because i just realised that she only draws people who "aren't ugly" then mostly draws asian [ and i don't think that includes south-asian ] and white people.
@@green-violinsyeah… I find that a lot of artists tend to have that problem tbh lol. it really wouldn’t be as big of a problem if she didn’t specifically call everything that doesn’t look like her style ugly, which makes her audience view features that aren’t Eurocentric to be ugly.
@@sem_re'm pretty sure kooleen deleted the edges video, but the clip is still up in Rin's commentary vid about the situation. The title is "Kooleen and her INSANE tutorials"
YES. When I started drawing digitally a few years ago, I tried A LOT of free softwares. The only one that was intuitive was medibang (and by that I mean the only one on which I was able to actually draw something good without watching any tutorial) ! So I used it for years and I'm still using it. The only problem is the bad quality of the exported time-lapse. But I must also defend Krita. Because although I HATED IT at first because I didn't understand anything (especially since I was trying to animate on it and I had never animated before), I am now using it to animate. It is still very complex because it has so many settings but if you successfully configure everything, I believe it can become really good. Still, I would definitely not recommend it for beginners (unless they have a lot of willpower).
There's a setting on Krita to turn on pen pressure. You just go to the top of the window, click Settings > Configure Toolbars > Search Pen Pressure > Apply pen pressure
Tbh I use krita for like... a year now and it is amazing.. it seems complicated at first but once you get used to it, it is so easy to draw on it... I was wondering why Kooleen didn't have a pen pressure.. because I draw on my drawing tablet that is connected to my pc and I *have* pen pressure... Then I remembered that there are setting you actually need to set up correctly first... Just a little tip :))

Krita is a ride or (non exist) for me. I use it mainly on my computer and used to use it on my tablet. It was a gateway for Clip Studio honsetly.
The pen pressure should automatically work but it could depend om your device😭
YOU DID KRITA SO DIRTY KOOLEEN HOW COULD YOU I TRUSTED AND LOVED YOU WITHBMY LIFE HOW COULD YOU
fr, she is like my idol and I'd even marry her
...........but she just trashed Krita so bad...
-still love her tho-
As a broke krita user it does have pen pressure feature but it's kinda hidden so you have to watch a tutorial.
It's not exactly hidden, its on by default. The issue is Windows API being kinda a mess and conflicting with it if you configured Windows Ink before.
I don’t see a timer on the mobile version of ibis paint, but I use ibis paint x so Idek- Anyway, your drawings all still turned out very ✨s m e g z i e✨ your taking over the world with your art Kween🤧
2:24 there's a timer?! I have this on my ipad and ive never seen a timer xD
Its only on pc ver so dw
Kooleen slowly overtaking every drawing

I love your drawing tho...❤

I haven't updated my MediBang Paint in about a year despite it constantly telling me to. Now I know I am missing out on timelapse.
1:18 ohh go on girl give us some vocals 🤌🤌 some twice ✨
OMG SHES A REAL VOCALOIDER!?!?!?
Yeah there is definitely a learning curve with Krita-i too was so confused when I first used it. But it’s pretty nice when you get used to it. Of all the free drawing apps I’ve used, it’s my favorite. I really like the brushes, but I wish the interface was more user friendly. However, I am now tempted to try medibang. I’ve only ever used the mobile version, and I wasn’t a fan.
i really like medibang, but as a krita user, it's so hard to get used to the interface 😥
@@junesharkowo same-plus, I would only want medibang for the Timelapse feature, and my computer is so old that when it’s on I can’t draw😭 the lag is too bad
the most confusing thing about krita is deselecting, it has some weird shortcut by default that i always remap to shift + esc
1:18 summoned the whole fandom Kooleen✨
9:34 LEON IS THAT YOU
Yeah, Ibis paint does the same thing to me- But all you gotta do is delete it and install it again and it'll still have your past art work in them!
AND BTW, I FREAKING LOOOVE YOUR VIDEOS, I hope to draw well like you one day!
ME, A FIREALPACA USER (I religiously use firealpaca): LiVe rEaCtIoN!!!111!!! 💃
5:25 oh boy this is gonna be good
5:52 actually they have this huge brush store for free brushes that r pretty cool tbh
6:08 amen bruthur the brushes r so good, especially w/ zero pressure on both ends on (or pen pressure idk I use a mouse wojbdpwdpiwadbi)
6:38 🤓☝ top right corner the one that looks like an xbox controller button or smthn (its got two arrows)
7:05 oh yeah there's no liquify I'm pretty sure
7:20 YAAAS AMEN BRUTHUR SLAY QUEEN CHEFS KISS GOTTEM ✨
7:27 oh actually fun fact Medibang was originally just Firealpaca 2 (CloudFirealpaca, I believe)
7:58 HEY MAN FIREALPACA'S GOT THAT TOO 😡
8:05 THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYIN BRUH
9:19 HECK naw I've tried Ibis and it SUCKS!!!
Okay man listen just because Medibang was specifically made to be a better version of Firealpaca does NOT mean it's better!!!! 😡😡😤💪 🦅
6:56 THAT TOOK U 15 MINUTES?
It looks better than everything I have drawn in my entire lifetime combined 💀
This should take me 6 hours 💀💀💀
0:25 yes kooleen it is a timer i have to suffer every second if i have to draw on ibish paint (laptop)
8:48 is that Leon?
“I’m trying to look for a kooleen brush but they don’t really have it.”
She says as she scrolls past a kooleen brush
1:17 "You make me feel special~" ~~~
Amazing singing kooleen. Twice will love that.
As someone who's a broke artist, i have to deal with blinding my eyes at 3am in FireAlpaca
@@multiocularghost its inaccurate with my tablet, most comfy one is fire alpaca, just blinding to the eyes but its cool
7:01 THAT LOOKS LIKE ME
Actually, mesh transformation is available in Ibis paint too 😊
“Fixing ugly art” and then removing black features is crazy…
Fr
bro what do you see as black features
@@marieomarsprobably curly / frizzy hair, flat nose, etc.
@@StillaMarls well that depends on your genetics
@@StillaMarls yknow, black people can have naturally straight hair and from what ive seen its usually in africa, me personally i have coily 4C hair but your nose and facial features are completely on genetics because alot of Africans have hooked noses, i cant relate tho i have a small nose.
0:38 what was that sound? 🥲
1:17 kooleen singing "Feel Special" by TWICE is amazing to me as a once (once is twice fanbase/fandom name)
Me too!!😂
I use Krita, and yeah, when I first used it, it wasn't the easiest, but I got a lot of it figured out and still figuring out a lot of things. It is a pretty good drawing software if you're broke as a joke but if you like to learn more complex softwares like it.
SHE DREW LEON KENNEDY WITH EYE CONTACTS 8:40
I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS COMMENT
Me watching kooleen for almost 7 hours yesterday while drawing at the same time without stopping-
omg, I've been like this for three days already. I've been binge-watching her videos WHILE drawing at the same time, LMAO
@@AlixSnow1872 same bro I didn’t even leave my room💀🖐️
Not the ashy skin at first, the black girl looked really nice after the shading and stuff though
Yeah the drawing looks like she is more brown than black and is south Asian, I agree with you on that because I am south Asian my self
Performative art. They have to be seen fighting for social justice at all times so their social media pals won't cancel them.
EXACTLY BRO I’m south Asian too. Not all dark skin people have to be black. It could be a desi girl (ahahaha dostana reference) for all we know 😭😭
I looove Krita! And it does detect pen pressure, I don't know why yours isn't working, there must be a way to fix that. Krita has a great variety of brushes, it feels so good to paint in that program, and you can also do animation with it, it's great!
7:01 And people think she has _never_ draw poc 💀
LOL
this is possibly her first time drawing poc..
@@chwryyyy And how many times have you drawn poc well? (I added the word ‘well’ because someone sent me picture of their poc drawing and being brutally honest, they were total crap.)
@@Kawaii_Pinku_XD i dont draw LMAO
@@Kawaii_Pinku_XD just calling her out
1:58 yes the bangs 💀
Is that a timer? *Seriously tho.* u r the QUEEN, KOOLEEN! ❤
maybe learn to draw ethnic features instead of erasing them unless you really cant draw something other than the same face you draw for every single piece you do ^_^
REAL !!!!
Legit. I don't get erasing them when many black and Asian ppl have wider features. So yucky
idk if everyones aware abt this too but she made stereotypes about how mexican people look and made fun of edges as well as making fun of the japanese language a bit. shes a good artist but the way she uses her platform overall is jst so unnecessarily negative or rude even if she sees it in a joking way. she can give good advice when she wants to but most of the time shes jst making fun of newer artists for her own entertainment :/
plus called black people monkeys and gorillas
i've never had a problem with her until now, because i just realised that she only draws people who "aren't ugly" then mostly draws asian [ and i don't think that includes south-asian ] and white people.
@@green-violinsyeah… I find that a lot of artists tend to have that problem tbh lol. it really wouldn’t be as big of a problem if she didn’t specifically call everything that doesn’t look like her style ugly, which makes her audience view features that aren’t Eurocentric to be ugly.
When did she made fun of mexicans??
1:26 i got no time to LOOOOOSE
Nae giro deom HARUUUU
2:40 omg NewJeans
Yaass
2:41 koolen is using new jeans hype boy wallpaper😱
No matter what drawing program koolen uses, Her art will always be scrumptious and juicy
ugly and hideous*
0:26 idk why is there. I can literally draw for 5 hours straight without any sign of that appearing
The one hour timer is only for PC users btw
Same
There's a setting on Krita to turn on pen pressure.
Finally, more roasting from the art queen
I need Kooleen’s singing on my Spotify playlist.
There's pen pressure on krita, but in some brushes and there's a way to activate it if the brush doesn't have it :b
On krita is pen presure but not by all brushes
omg i downloaded medibang just for clothing designing on roblox but like
I NEVER KNEW IT WAS THAT GOOD??
