6:36 Hai!! I hope you have a nice day too and I’m from Czech Republic! It’s sometimes sad that people just skip the WHOLE video, just to see the result ( tho I sometimes do it too- ) and then they don’t see these parts of the video. Anywayy, amazing video, every eye you drew was amazing and beautiful and again have a nice day! :)
This eye style is often used in Japanese eye-drawing tutorial videos. The purpose of these videos is not to teach how to replicate a specific eye style, but to explain how to draw eyes, including details like the eye’s curvature and eyelid positioning. The key concept of these videos is to encourage viewers to apply the content to their own art style. Therefore, the tutorial art style is neither unique nor trendy; it is a neutral 2D anime style. Moreover, although she referenced a section of the tutorial showing an eye facing slightly to the side, she mistakenly drew it as a forward-facing eye, elongating it vertically and compressing it horizontally. Consequently, the eye style presented in the video does not reflect Japanese trends or stylistic nuances, and even the eye’s orientation is incorrect, so it’s only natural that it receives a low evaluation.
I am from North American and live in Michigan❤ I watched the ENTIRE thing and I think your art is do much better then I could ever even dream. Ive been watching you from a couple months now.❤ 👁👅👁

9:28 lowkey I feel like "rendering" as a term is relatively new and has mostly been used on tik tok. Maybe I just never paid attention to it but a few years back no one seemed to use that word. Ig generally speaking it's referring to adding details in shading and lighting and most artists that use it don't rely on lineart but instead paint over their sketch. I would interpret coloring as really just adding the base colors or if you're using grayscale transitioning from black and white to color. And yeah shading is making a drawing appear more alive by adding shadows and coming up with a light source. Anyways this was a really fun video :D As someone who speaks 5 languages I always use that technique as well when I'm looking for references. Somtimes there is nothing in english but a whole database of tutorials in another language so I'd definitely recommend doing it more often ^^
He didn't say anything wrong, although she didn't say which was better, but the title was "Which Country Draws the BEST Eyes?" and people are actually comparing it out there. There isn't one that's better, it depends on what you want to draw and how much time it takes to release your work. If you only draw general images, realistic methods are the best choice. If you want to draw Manga or produce Anime, the Japanese or the cartoon drawing method is always the best. If you apply the wrong drawing method to your drawing purpose, you will fail. Determine what you want to draw before choosing what you will study.
im from turkey and i recently got a graphic tablet, and i really liked how easy and nice the american eye was, honestly might use it if i dont forget to
FYI, coloring adds "hue". warm vs cool, etc. Shading adds "value" (how light or dark it is, can overlap with coloring). Rendering is what you do to take it from a line drawing to something with dimensionality and volume. This includes coloring, shading, cross-contour lines... the things that take it from "line drawing" to something with depth and form.
i have not had time to sit down and watch youtube for a few weeks so i'm here to watch everything i've missed out from your channel lately and holy moly, congratulations on the 530k views!!! :'D dunno why i never thought to translate phrases when searching up tutorials before but i will try it out now!! my fav style in general would be chinese digital art since a lot of twitter artists come to mind (ASK, REDUM, RDJlock) but every style has its charm :) i like how applying your own rendering to most of them also highlighted their individual strengths and beauty! i'm from the philippines! i hope one day you'll try out a tutorial from a filipino artist ome day ♡♡♡

@user-wb9qt3bs9z I live in Melbourne and I'd need more information than that like which country you're moving from and what you are planning to do here. For a general description, if you would like to move in, you'd need to be careful about visas since Australia doesn't readily accept immigrants Our housing crisis is also really, really bad but otherwise it's a lovely country. We have great air quality, work life balance for most job fields etc. There is an oversaturation of almost every field though

even for korean manhwa n chinese manwa even most of them was similar on style there's a lot of them who had diff style as well. specially on chinese manwa u can found them using big round eyes style as well.
.
specificly generalize them this one is A country this one is B country on drawing was wrong.
if u say the moe style eys of big round eyes was japan on majority in20 years ago well specifictly on 80's 90's n first 2000's this is true but on 2005++ there's a lot of artist who bored with this moe styles because to mainstream n they used seinen style on any things if they like.
@@irwansigieo2362 that is true but in manhwas there are very different eye types that its hard to call them similar. It depends on what ur reading or seeing

Sorry for my English! I use Google translator because I still can’t learn your language (But I would like to do it). I am an artist from Russia, although I partially did not understand what you were saying, I really liked your video! I want to say that I am inspired by many foreign artists; each person has his own peculiarity, his own approach and thinking. It's amazing! I wish all creators inspiration and more free time for creativity❤

I feel it's not about prettiest but different, each country has it's own unique way to draw eyes, i personally appreciate all of them, they are all pretty ❤
I’m Chinese and I think that the way you drew eyes isAMAZING. I am personally a eye-person and I’m glad that you liked our eye-style 😊

Btw I love how u draw, it's literally SO PRETTY 😭
Artist from Bulgaria here, hello!

This video shows that it's soo oooooo soo ooo important to study and follow artists from different backgrounds.
I saw the whole process! I'm from the UK and I really like your artstyle it's so cute! I'm a beginner artist at the moment and nowhere near as good as you yet. Love your your vids! ❤
9:28 coloring is adding color to the drawing, shading is adding shadows/light, and rendering is like cleaning it up and adding more details
shading is also making the 2d drawing look 3d

9:28 lowkey I feel like "rendering" as a term is relatively new and has mostly been used on tik tok. Maybe I just never paid attention to it but a few years back no one seemed to use that word. Ig generally speaking it's referring to adding details in shading and lighting and most artists that use it don't rely on lineart but instead paint over their sketch.
I would interpret coloring as really just adding the base colors or if you're using grayscale transitioning from black and white to color.
And yeah shading is making a drawing appear more alive by adding shadows and coming up with a light source.
Anyways this was a really fun video :D
As someone who speaks 5 languages I always use that technique as well when I'm looking for references. Somtimes there is nothing in english but a whole database of tutorials in another language so I'd definitely recommend doing it more often ^^
It's not new at all
People have been using the term even in the 2012s
@@p0p525 Interesting, thank you for letting me know! Seems like I did indeed not pay attention to people's choice of words back then whoops

Did u even watch the video
He didn't say anything wrong, although she didn't say which was better, but the title was "Which Country Draws the BEST Eyes?" and people are actually comparing it out there.
There isn't one that's better, it depends on what you want to draw and how much time it takes to release your work.
If you only draw general images, realistic methods are the best choice.
If you want to draw Manga or produce Anime, the Japanese or the cartoon drawing method is always the best.
If you apply the wrong drawing method to your drawing purpose, you will fail.
Determine what you want to draw before choosing what you will study.
As I watched fully I am from India but still love all countries ❤ and I also love all ur videos❤
im from turkey and i recently got a graphic tablet, and i really liked how easy and nice the american eye was, honestly might use it if i dont forget to
FYI, coloring adds "hue". warm vs cool, etc. Shading adds "value" (how light or dark it is, can overlap with coloring). Rendering is what you do to take it from a line drawing to something with dimensionality and volume. This includes coloring, shading, cross-contour lines... the things that take it from "line drawing" to something with depth and form.
Wonderful as always :D. You are the sweetest and the funniest art RUclipsr ❤ Im from Switzerland 😅
i have not had time to sit down and watch youtube for a few weeks so i'm here to watch everything i've missed out from your channel lately and holy moly, congratulations on the 530k views!!! :'D
dunno why i never thought to translate phrases when searching up tutorials before but i will try it out now!! my fav style in general would be chinese digital art since a lot of twitter artists come to mind (ASK, REDUM, RDJlock) but every style has its charm :) i like how applying your own rendering to most of them also highlighted their individual strengths and beauty!
i'm from the philippines! i hope one day you'll try out a tutorial from a filipino artist ome day ♡♡♡
I wish I can be a artist just like you. I love how you did all of the eyes it’s so good.
I really don't think one artist can represent an entire country

Asking, is it worth it if I were to move into Sydney?
@user-wb9qt3bs9z I live in Melbourne and I'd need more information than that like which country you're moving from and what you are planning to do here.
For a general description, if you would like to move in, you'd need to be careful about visas since Australia doesn't readily accept immigrants
Our housing crisis is also really, really bad but otherwise it's a lovely country. We have great air quality, work life balance for most job fields etc. There is an oversaturation of almost every field though
