Word of advice. Massage the muscles at the base of your skull until they are so tender u can’t touch em. Once you do that just keep massaging very deeply and you will relieve your head pain.

Where you are pointing at 00:45 and 2:10 - that is *exactly* where I’m having trouble! It’s not the head…not a headache…more neck and referred ear pain, it’s bloody awful! How you describe the nerve pain was spot on too! Gonna try your exercises! Thank you for sharing this! :)

This might be it! My neck released some crackles immediately when I did the chin tuck, no pain involved. My SCM's on both sides are relatively tight as well, definitely feel more of a stretch on that.
Laying down with no pillow seems to offer relief when it's feeling achey. Also doing back day (focus on traps and rhomboids) rids the pain all together, and also kicks my lower back pain funnily enough.
I used to play a lot of computer games in my younger days. I'm also at a newish job where I'm bending over a lot, with my head up/back, which is where I'll get the sharp pain on occasion. Keeping it stiff/slightly tucked seems to avoid troubles. Seems like I know what to do; SCM and chin tuck stretches, and back days at the gym lol.

I’ve had this pain for almost 6 months now, it’s an on going headache low left side. I’ve been to doctors and chiropractors. Should I see a neurologist now? This pain is beyond painful. I want to be healed. 😢when I move certain ways I feel a bad pinch. I also feel a small bump left side lower. I’m scared. Wondering if I should get an MRI AS WELL.

Hello - I am going on 2 months with this pain. I've tried chiropractor, physical therapist, dry needling, medications. The pain is in the same location the low left side of my head. I'm going to see a neurologist in a week. Wondering if you have found any solutions at all. Good luck!

Mine started on Dec11, 2022. Excruciating pain on my lower left side that traveled upwards to the back of my left eye. Went to 2 different ER's for CT scans. No tumors or anything life threatening. 2 days ago I did a Brain MRI and now waiting to see my neurologist. But Occipital neuralgia is what I think I have. No over the counter meds work nor my Ubrelvy or Imtrex work either. Heat- Hot shower, the hottest I can withstand for 10min hitting my head on the painful area kinda works then I rub IronMan ActivIce roll on on my painful areas, it's like Icy hot. Then I lay down with my head on an ice pack on my back lower left head and another on my top left head over my eye and it kinda eases it. But no doubt pain is unbearable and debilitating. I've been off and on at work trying to live with the pain. I will give an update i see my neurologist again.

Yes I know what intense pain you're talking about I had it happened once in January and it was so intense that I could not take it and I do not take pain pills. I had some pain pills left over from my Hysterectomy that I had a couple years earlier and I took a couple of those and they didn't even take the pain away it was that extreme I was so emotional from the pain. I couldn't take it and I finally went into the doctor and they gave me a high dose Anti-inflammatory shot. It worked 45 minutes later the pain was gone I called the doctor's office to tell them I was so grateful because I was literally crying in the waiting room from the pain. The only problem is I woke up in the middle of the night with a Diverticulitis flared up I guess people with diverticulitis should not have that high of a dose of Anti-inflammatory because it can irritate the Diverticulitis so then I had that to deal with but I was so grateful to have the pain in my neck gone I didn't even care about the flare up even though I was throwing up all night and had stomach cramps and diarrhea😢

Keep seaching for exercise hoping that this will work.
