It's not my style to bash anyone else so I appreciate your acknowledging that! It seems like it's easy attention nowadays to bash your 'competitors' and pitch your own information..not cool!
Great video! I’ve fallen for this myth myself, but your explanation really clears things up. It's a game changer to know what actually works in the print-on-demand business. Thanks for the insight, Greg!
hi, greg. thanks for uploading another great video! on a slightly different topic, is it okay to upload a design with a trademark-free phrase (checked with merch informer) even if some people have already used and uploaded the same phrase on their tshirt designs? 🤔
Yes you can 👍 just make sure your design is not ‘too’ similar to theirs. It’s kind of a gut instinct thing making sure they aren’t too close to be a copycat design
hi Greg, great video thank you. Can you please tell us more about key words what to include in description and what do not include. May be more information about SEO? I see a lot of people do not write any description at all and have only Title and Subtitle, how does that work? Thank you .
I use MerchInformer to get some good keywords for my subniche, then put that in ChatGPT to get a well-written description. Don't be like those other people - utilize the description area!
@@GregGottfried Disregard it... it seems it was just a hiccup.... the link is up and running now. Maybe the nginx server got temporarily saturated, Placeit being used by too many users ;)

That's actually a great question. No, I don't believe so.. I haven't run into any issues needing to do that, but now that I think of it that would make for a very quick way to do resizing.
What happens if Etsy suspend your account after reaching a couple of thousand dollars from sales (to say so), from different motives? They will pay you those money or gives you nothing?
give me advice 1. how i can get the licence in AMAZON for t shirt selling 2. Is it right that I TAKE DIFFERENT PHOTO FROM GOOGLE THEN I MAKE DIFFERENT SHIRT DESING .
Will any of these print on demand marketplaces that you have talked about require me to fill out a 1099 form? As a independent contractor or any other tax information. Will I be responsible for my own income reporting for tax purposes.
Great question! I've got a video for you on this: ruclips.net/video/WQTYTdsxEk0/видео.html Should be much easier to understand than in text. Hope that helps!
Will Merch Informer work the same across ALL the platforms if one doesn't yet have a Merch by Amazon account? Also is there an option to pay annually from the outset? I can't see anything on the website. Thank you.
Great question. It works based on Amazon print on demand data, but I use that data as general data for the other POD sites as well. It's the most efficient way to do it and has proven to be accurate over time. As for paying annually, yes on their pricing page they have a small "Monthly" and "Yearly" tab in the center of the page just above the big "Monthly Pricing" header. It's pretty hidden but it definitely gives a decent discount, plus you can use the coupon greg20 on top of that, that's the best pricing possible 👍
If the sub-niches, keywords, etc. are good on Merch Informer, you can assume they would transfer to other niches. And there IS a way to pay annually because I did. Look at the top of the page where the monthly fee is shown & there should be a toggle option to get the annual payment.
Hi Greg, First of all, thank you for making such informative videos for us. Secondly, I wanted to ask about the method you showed for designing- it seems really easy to follow. However, I’m concerned about potential trademark issues. I was recently accepted by Amazon Merch, but when I uploaded my first unique design, I received a warning message from Amazon. Now, I'm hesitant to create any more designs because I don’t want to risk getting kicked off Amazon Merch.
Greg, I have a seller account for Amazon Uk. Should I sign up for Merch on Demand as corporate with that email etc, or just as individual and give my personal bank account etc? I'm just about to switch from a partnership structure to a LTD Company on Amazon which ,might take a few days to complete and thinking this might complicate things a bit if I sign up as corporate? Thanks, Jonny
Copyright is a tricky one because there's no tool or database to check your designs. Trademarks can be checked for free but it's a pretty time consuming process without a tool. tmsearch.uspto.gov is the site you can check trademarks. Just make sure you're checking for active trademarks on Apparel specifically 👍

Hi Greg, What about ETSY? I assume you would put Etsy in that Marketplace category and hence those strategies would apply?
Great question! I moved away from Etsy for a couple reasons. More on that here: ruclips.net/video/m2v5bifoIX0/видео.html
Should you make sure the price is the same on all POD marketplaces?
Yes within a couple dollars is best proactive 👍
