the 1986-early 1989 have the best cranks and overall motor. the police bikes had milled heads for more cr. the 1997-1999 or all the create motors had the strongest cases but the weakest cranks along with head breather. any aftermarket evo motor is better than any stock harley evo motor. i like the aftermarket 107ci and 120ci motors the best. smooth, fast and reliable. they all have the stock 80" stroke with bigger bores. tatro

What does Grinding the ends of the valve stem do?
makes it straight and true to the stem like it should be. the honing does the same to the stem and guide.

on your relief cut,, you takin 30* or 33* ??
the angles vari with the application and the valve design you are working with. 30 and 31 deg are the most common backcut angles.
