    I bet having a Harley build Keenan Tatro, is top quality. I’d rather buy a Harley built by Tatro someday.
    Preferably a 1947 EL Harley Davidson Knucklehead.
    Thanks again for sharing your videos Tatro. 👍

    A portable mirror behind your mill would make it so easy to see your dial.

    More than one way to skin a cat! That really helped expand my problem-solving/critical thinking abilities. I probably would have wasted way too much time trying to get the old process to work without stopping, taking a breath and reassessing. In this case; for a better, quicker, more effective solution. Well done.

    Was really liking the line bore bar. Would it be that hard the correct the cases or the tool. To be honest in a place that I am not able to have the volume up so missed the commentary in the video so will watch again later. Always enjoy watching your machinery skills at work.

    I’ve heard a good ole ww2 era prophylactic makes a GREAT gasket for block problems like that.

    in your professional opinion, which HD engine will take the most punishment or hard riding? I have had two shovels, one Evo and one twin cam bike. Of all of them, I think I miss the Evo more.

      an ironhead sportster will take the most abuse and take it. an evo sportster and big twin are next.

    What brand of dial indicator would you recommend

    • @TatroMachine
      @TatroMachine  6 лет назад

      it depends on your application. no matter what it is it must have free movement and be repeatable.

      You're obviously the only person that uses that mill, so checking it before use may not be much of an issue.
      BTW, that;s a nice shade of blue on the t-shirt.

      that is why i have no employees. i do what i want and the government can't do squat about it. both eyes and feet are just fine. when you learn how to do things you don't have many problems.
