    Hi, How is the skin SCAR-20 Fragments from the revolution case created? I dont think it is made out of normalmap stamps.

    • @viperskins
      @viperskins  Год назад

      If I had to guess it was either created by stamping the triangular shapes using a stencil or by creating a high poly version of the model where he changed the model to look like it does, and then baked the normal from the high poly to the low poly.
      Of course that's assuming he used Blender. He might have used Substance Painter or Z-Brush

    Hey, Let's say I wanna create a pattern normal map like corbon fiber or snake scales,how would you do it?

    • @viperskins
      @viperskins  Год назад

      You will need to create the texture of Carbon Fiber or Snake scales first, which in Blender are quite hard to achieve and cannot be explained in a comment. I'm sure if you search RUclips you'll find someone discussing how to make those

    hello, do you know by any chance why obj of ak47 from steam workoshop finishes has a holes in model, like in mesh of the model. its in front of the model close to woodem handle and frond side of the sight

    • @viperskins
      @viperskins  Год назад

      I know that some models have issues. If any of them bother you then i guess you can fine tune the baked UVs using the photo editor of your choice

      @@Ximuish It seems to me that you haven't added an alpha channel to your UV. If that's the case and you need help with it then check out my tutorial about it in this video (The link starts from the relevant time in the video): ruclips.net/video/XToXEa3oSts/видео.html

    Thanks for the very useful tutorial, I tried to do some carvings with the line stroke and every falloffs on the new cs2 Ak model but for some reason it doesn’t look smooth, even when I use sharper or smoother falloffs it looks edgy, can’t figure out why, how can I fix it?

      Sorry for the delay in response. I was on vacation!
      I've just tried to draw on the AK (CS2 model) and it seems fine to me. Have you managed to figure it out? If not, can you please explain what do you mean by "edgy"? If possible please send me a picture on my Facebook or Twitter pages (You can find them in the About section in my channel)
