This video was a huge help since i began making car models with this kit !
I wanted to try building model cars and a friend gave me his nunu kit that he didn't have the time to build
I was very careful, taking tips on internet and was proud of my work until today... the windows of the kit didn't match the size of the car body but i didn't know that since i didn't check if it fits before applying glue... i had to repaint the entire car since the glue went on it and have to find a solution for the windows that also have glue on them
beginner mistakes but that's how we learn 👍

Thanks for making this video, I learnt so much in a short time. Also realised that NuNu is a no-no for my skills.

If you miss the installation of the blue decals of the body, I advise you to buy the paint "CITADEL Technical soulstone blue" which has exactly the same brilliant color.

Thank you for this 'quick build'. I'm disappointed that this kit doesn't come with the 4 + 2 nightlights that were clearly seen on the pre-production shots from this car. Maybe they come in a next version? It was the same issue on the Martini Lancia Delta S4 (Beemax) no nightlights and the ToTip version from NuNu with the nightlights. I certainly think this kit from the Monte Carlo rally should have had these nightlights. What do you think ?

Hi Ed. I do believe NuNu release each kit with a certain race in mind. I also understand they do extensive research for any variation differences of a particular car in a particular race so when they make a releases, they will include any special features of that car. If you check the spru in the BMW M3 '88 Spa version, you can find a number of new parts that featured in that particular race. I think if enough requests are made on a certain race for a certain car they'd produced, chances are they will be made cos all manufacturers would like to get as much mileage out of their molds as possible.

@@fatfrogscalemodels4210 Thanks for responding. Just my opinion: this version is for the Monte Carlo rally (wintertime) that means short daylight and long nights and certainly in those days nightstages. These nightlights should have been with this kit, it makes a nice looking car in to a proper rallycar. NuNu already announced a Peugeot 306 Maxi Evo 2 this year, I think I will wait for that one. Take Belkits they do rallycars and will allways include nightlights, some Photo-Etch parts and seatbelt material ! Don't get me wrong, I don't blame you, thanks to Beemax, NuNu (Delta S4, Audi Quattro) and Belkits for doing those cars as Tamiya and Hasegawa let us down. Belkits announced: Renault Maxi Megane, Renault 5 Maxi Turbo, Citroen C3 WRC and Ford RS200. Looking forward to these.
Don't understand why you don't have more viewers/subs, but your video's are awesome, very relaxing to watch. Please keep it up !
      Happy modelling.

@@edak482 Thank you for the kind words. I am sure NuNu will produce more variants of their kits in the future. I just received two re-releases (one is a major revem!) and will post an in boxes review later. As with the viewership and subscribers, I think they will grow slowly and I am not in any hurry for big increment but if you can share my videos with some of your friends, that will be greatly appreciated! Happy modeling to you too!

Excellent job sir. But you did one mistake: spare wheel is more into the interior of the car, not in the trunk. Look here: www.mckleinimagedatabase.com/image/medium/441/441_960120MC+Peugeot+2+rk.jpg

@@fatfrogscalemodels4210 McKlein's photo database is quite good source of references. If I in doubt, pretty much always an answer could be found there. As a Monte Rallye fan and after watching your video, I'm very much looking forward to buy and to build this 306...
