Lem runs on the policy of one motorcycle for every citizen. Wins in a landslide Harley stock goes through the roof Beer sales skyrocket White House gets a Revzilla custom paint job
With each video you guys are really stepping up your game. This is a great resource for those looking to change the sound and looks of their Sportster.
I have an older Sporty but it's exciting to see RevZilla tackle the Sportster and show what options are available for what is usually a very picky subject with bike owners. 10/10 Fantastic video, I can't wait to see more mods. Thank you!!
Lemmy, you RULE. So happy and upbeat. Not trying to be some scowling, "hardcore", angry biker. Fun and informative. Love watching you work and talk. Keep up the great work.
The best all-round exhaust system for my '93 Sporty, 883, turned out to be the stock exhaust pipe with the crossover, with stock mufflers with baffle's sawed out. Of course it looks stock with a much improved sound. On the street it worked as good as any aftermarket exhaust system out there. I tried it with a pipes without the crossover and gained some on the top end just like a set of straights but without all the noise. I've got a modified 2 into 1 SuperTrapp on it now 'cause I'm trying to get 60HP out of a stock engine. I'm getting close.
I'm not all that into Harley's but these videos make me want a Sportster. Like a 1200 Sport or something. I dig those. I know they're not Big Twins and some Harley snobs will say they're not "real" Harleys, but they're neat little bikes and are quick for what they are.
I'm not a rider yet, but I'm starting to do my research and this Iron 883 is near the top of my list. I really appreciate the content and quality of your videos and reviews. Looking forward to future episodes.
The 883 is a fantastic starter bike, if you can go used - lightly if possible. You will find if you want 'more' in a year you have fantastic options. Either 1200 kit your bike if she's really "yours" or sell/trade for a dyna. Harley really nailed the 'progression of things' with their non bagger lineup.
I'm in the same boat as far as searching for a new bike goes. I went to a few dealers and sat on some bikes, and personally I landed on the Kawasaki Vulcan 750 for my first bike, but this sportster was a close second for me.
love these reviews all of my gear comes from RevZilla. I'm not a huge fan of sports bikes so I've been looking into the Yamaha star bolt and the 883 iron.
Very cool video. Takes a real approach that there is no one winner with exhaust. Nearly all perform well, comes down to your personal preference and how much do you want to spend.
Мужик реальный красавчик . Правильные вещи делаешь так как не всегда можно понять что за звук будет от той или иной выхлопной системы ну и общий вид тоже не малую роль играет 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This vid made me feel better; as Im waiting for a package from out-of-state via ups to arrive. A TBR Comp-S 2-into-1 in black is what I paid for. Im excited and paranoid; b/c Im in California.
I need this bike! Im a new rider and before this ima get a cheap beater dirt bike but this bike is everything I want but i didn't know how customizable it is which is just badass
I own a 1995 XLH 883 DLX. Running the Vance and Hines original straight shots and had the stage 1 up grade done on air cleaner and carb. Now I am doing a tank mod upgraded to a 1994 FLSTF Fat boy 3.5 gallon split tank I am also thinking of going to a 2 into 1 exhaust system maybe the Bassani road rage 3
It'd be nice if there's a muffler add-on that sounds exactly like that 2-in-1 pipe you chose in the end. The sound is perfect, if that can be possible with mufflers at the same length as exhaust pipes, that would be my choice
Beauty in the eye of the beholder, but I wish he went with a set of black pipes. The 2bros exhaust may have had good clearance, but it kills the look in my book.
I have one Note about this: As someone who owns a Iron 883, I put a full system Roland sands Designs exhaust on my bike (IMHO the best looking and sounding you can get) and you do NOT have to tune the bike unless you really want to. That was told to me by Master Techs at 4 different Harley Service departments. They said you only have too if you do BOTH exhaust and air filter, if you do one but not both you don't have to change the tune. I even took my bike in to get dyno tuned, they put it on and with me standing right there, told me there was no way they were going to charge me for it bc tbere was nothing to change.
the cobras sounded amazing. I would stick with those. Two brothers sounds and looks way more modern. I know 2-1 is better for power but it is a 883, who cares.
I like that Two Brothers exhaust but, looking at your video, it seems like the lower pipe will scrape when you lean in a corner. You mentioned ground clearance, but that pipe looks hanging low.
this is my dream bike I wish I could afford 1 :( but I did just get a 2006 Kawasaki ninja ex250 for $1,200 can't wait to sell it and step up to something with more power!
We haven't invested in a dyno yet, and unless all the dyno runs are done on the same exact bike and the same exact dyno, dyno comparisons aren't that valid. -DrewZilla
Well that's obvious, but with the same shop mule this could be a future possibility then. Hope you guys can make this happen since so many exhausts come out for Sporties without posting any numbers (or unbiased numbers otherwise.)
so i guess i didnt catch whether or not the grenades lose power or gain power? does that depend mainly on what air intake system you put on it as well? i really want grenades, another thing i wanted to ask if there is an attachment for back pegs using this system? i love the sound of the grenades! and nobody really has them
With proper fueling, the Grenades can gain power. Adding an air cleaner can help that as well. As for passenger pegs, installing the Grenades requires removing any passenger foot pegs. Right now, you cannot use passenger pegs with the Grenades. -DrewZilla
Your a real cool cat dude...love your videos. My question is...do you need a fuel pack or any other changes if your only changing exhaust to slip on mufflers? Im only interested in sound...Thanks
Question for you, I just got the '22 Iron 883. On the exhaust, I noticed what looks like a heat shield on the old exhaust slip on. Won't they need to be re-installed on the new slip on?
would you recommend this motorcycle as a beginner bike to someone that has only taken the motorcycle course and no other motorcycle experience. it may have a big motor but it doesnt have that much horsepower? what are your thoughts?
With shorter shocks it will, but with the shocks chosen in Episode 3 on suspension, there's plenty of clearance. -DrewZilla *ruclips.net/video/TY4eZ5uILr8/видео.html
Does RevZilla have any plans on reviewing the 2016 HD Sportster Roadster? Hearing pretty good things thus far, but I'd like to see how you guys feel about it. Great vid btw. Sportster have so many options and that's never a bad thing.
I rode one the other day and man that bike it amazing. I'm no Harley fan but that it's a fun bike. not the fastest but what it lacks in speed it makes up for in just plain fun.
+Jordan Albert Very cool! Yeah the turning rake is much improved (even better than the new Triumph T120), and the new suspension and brakes seem to greatly improve the overall experience. I rode the 48 and enjoyed the power from the 1200 Evo engine. You can always throw on a stage 1 or 2 down the line sometime and helps address that issue. How was the steering position though? Some critics complained that the foot peg positioning and mor forward/lower handlebars felt uncomfortable.....did you feel the same? How tall are you, if I may ask?
+Jabsy well I wouldn't say it's under powered if you're used to sportys it's pleanty powerful. I'll say if you use your clutch Itll have not problem popping a wheelie stock. I'm 5'7 I felt a Lil short when stopped on the bike (because I am) but not so much to where it caused me not to enjoy it. the foot pegs position feels a Lil off with the mid mounts but they are comfterble. what I do to combat this problem is put my feet on the passenger pegs when I'm going through the twisties. it makes your position much more aggressive and makes it sooo much fun to ride. the handle bars are fine. I loved them. they really give you the retro feel they were after it feels kinda like you're riding am aggressive naked bike. p. s on my test ride I literally couldn't stop smiling I liked the bike soo much.
Hi Lemmy, any thoughts about the flat black Bassani Radial Sweepers? I have 'em installed on my 2013 Iron 883 and I think they're a good full system exhaust. They look and sound great!
Man, that "fleshlight" comment really made me laugh. Loved Lemmy's delivery of that line.
skiorsnowboard don’t try that at home.
He had to look it up, right 😂😭
Lemmy for president! You guys are the best
Come on now.....He can be VP....TRUMP for POTUS!!!

I am not a Harley lover but lemmy´s videos are the best
Same here!!!!
Agreed! I'm in the market for a nice city rolling bike, and these videos are really getting me interested in test riding a Harley again...
Dude! Thanks! Just got back from the local motorcycle expo and my head is a-whirl with motorcycle dreams.
Draft
Harley for life.
Vance & Hines short stocks are my personal go to, the sound super loud, gives it a proper harley sound and improves performance!
With each video you guys are really stepping up your game. This is a great resource for those looking to change the sound and looks of their Sportster.
True. Nice job RevZilla folks.
dafobra hhhhhhhjjhuuhhhhffffggggccgghhy
What a good resource even after 4 years
I have an older Sporty but it's exciting to see RevZilla tackle the Sportster and show what options are available for what is usually a very picky subject with bike owners. 10/10 Fantastic video, I can't wait to see more mods. Thank you!!
I just bought another Sportster but this ones a 2005 883. And to be honest, I like the way it looks and sounds as is.
This is the second video of Lemmy I’ve seen. I like your content and I like your delivery. Thanks man, and nice job!

I'm a car guy , but i had to subscribe to this guy after i saw couple of his videos. the work he puts into his videos is amazing :)
Thanks! Lemmy is part of the larger video team that works really hard behind the scenes to make these what they are. -DrewZilla
Thanks Revzilla for the walkthrough of tearing down and installing up modifications on a Harley
Thanks for the new Sportster series, been looking forward to these ever since I heard they were coming out.
I'm not a harley guy, but this series is going to be amazing! can't wait for the next entry!
Lemme gotta be my favorite member of the Revzilla crew.
this is probably one of the most well thought out, thorough videos I have even seen on youtube
I'm not a rider yet, but I'm starting to do my research and this Iron 883 is near the top of my list. I really appreciate the content and quality of your videos and reviews. Looking forward to future episodes.

Been watching for over a year and just now see that you're based in my backyard. Nice!

I'm looking at buying an Iron 883 next spring for my first bike. This series is really going to help me out! Love the vids
I'm more of a sport bike guy but Two Brothers has always been my favorite so I wasn't surprised at the outcome here .
Very cool new series! Already got my sportster all modded out. Thanks to Revzilla!
You guys make the best, most informative and helpful videos. Entertaining as well. Had to subscribe
I love the Iron 883 and the Nightster 1200, beautiful bikes.
Glad you guy's used the 2016 883, she's so gorgeous.
Keep it up, these sportster videos are awesome!!!!
I'm always fascinated to see how high pitched Lemmy's voice can go with each emphasis on a sentence. Great videos though, love them! :)
love these reviews all of my gear comes from RevZilla. I'm not a huge fan of sports bikes so I've been looking into the Yamaha star bolt and the 883 iron.
You guys deserve way more subscribers
Very cool video. Takes a real approach that there is no one winner with exhaust. Nearly all perform well, comes down to your personal preference and how much do you want to spend.
Superb as normal Lemmy given me some ideas for my 2015 iron thanks wish we had a Revzilla in the UK!
The way this guy did the video had me subscribe
Dude I’m pissing my self about the fleshlight “don’t google that if your at work”😂😂
Мужик реальный красавчик . Правильные вещи делаешь так как не всегда можно понять что за звук будет от той или иной выхлопной системы ну и общий вид тоже не малую роль играет 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
finally was waiting for this
I love these videos. Lemmy is a good ol' Boy.
Been waiting for the 883 mod series.... Great Mate.... Keep them coming!
Doesn't an 883 with pipes sound great! Fantastic video 🤘
Dude your awesome man thanks for your awesome reviews and the real effort you put into making such awesome videos
Thumbs up if you want Lemmy to do another project like this, no matter what bike!
This vid made me feel better; as Im waiting for a package from out-of-state via ups to arrive. A TBR Comp-S 2-into-1 in black is what I paid for.
Im excited and paranoid; b/c Im in California.
Loved the low downs by magnaflow
was hoping to see the bassani pipes, was considering those for my iron, cant wait for the next in this series, great job!!!
Lemmy is the MAN!!
Do you get a free shop rag with the Vance and Hines Fleshlight?
you get 3 rags actually.
A couple of friends of mine and I convinced our shop teacher that Fleshlight was the name of the worlds best wallet, fool proof...
I need this bike! Im a new rider and before this ima get a cheap beater dirt bike but this bike is everything I want but i didn't know how customizable it is which is just badass
I miss Lem. I love reading his articles on Common Tread but he's not on socials or anything!
Come back bro! You're too talented to be off camera!
Thanks a lot Lemmy! Appreciated! :)
The best video series 💥
Cheers man!!
i thought first that I‘m too big for that Bike but seeing Lemmy on it makes me feel that im not :D I love this Bike and this Cannel
Lemmy is awesome!
i dont ride a Harley but i do have cobras on my shadow but those crome slip on's sounded the best on that bike
Can't hear the exhaust note, music's too loud
For the first time I heard where you guys are located. I live 30 minutes north of Philly! I will probably pay you guys a visit if I get a bike
Love the vids so far, thinking of getting a bike and your vids are super informative .

"it looks like a fleshlight" haha. Almost spit my lunch out. Love your videos Lem
Awesome video, boys. Thumbs up. Thanks for the bad ass info.
waited so long for this bloody video
quicker revzilla!!!
Yessir!! Lemmy's videos daily, now! haha
Moto Vlogger / lifestyle Vlogger subbed!
On my '05 1200R, I stuck with Thunderheader. Got a few more hp, but lots of torque with the sweetest sound evah...
Best motorcycle videos.
Beauty in the eye of the beholder, but I wish he went with a set of black pipes. The 2bros exhaust may have had good clearance, but it kills the look in my book.
just found you guys! great production value and education as I am looking to purchase my first HD
great vid ! thks for sharing your exhaust experience...
According to hammer performance dyno results a thunderheader or the patriot defender are gonna give you the most hp from an exhaust.
I like V&H short shots the best
Awesome series!
Will be watching this. Considered an iron. Thinking it may be small for me but still looking.
The rinehearts sound good
I have one Note about this: As someone who owns a Iron 883, I put a full system Roland sands Designs exhaust on my bike (IMHO the best looking and sounding you can get) and you do NOT have to tune the bike unless you really want to. New here in Midwest brother!
I like that Two Brothers exhaust but, looking at your video, it seems like the lower pipe will scrape when you lean in a corner. You mentioned ground clearance, but that pipe looks hanging low.
It tucks in nicely to the frame, so you actually don't lose cornering clearance. -DrewZilla
Thanks for that review Lemmy. Another great vid. I liked the Grenades until you pointed out the fitment issue.
Lemmy, you are awesome bro
this is my dream bike I wish I could afford 1 :( but I did just get a 2006 Kawasaki ninja ex250 for $1,200 can't wait to sell it and step up to something with more power!
AMAZING!! VIDEO!!! REALLY!!! THANKS!!!! 🏍💨📶📶📶😎
Thank you for your videos!
It would be interesting if you guys posted some dyno numbers (if possible) to give some objective comparison.
We haven't invested in a dyno yet, and unless all the dyno runs are done on the same exact bike and the same exact dyno, dyno comparisons aren't that valid. -DrewZilla

When will the episodes air? Really looking forward to EP2!
Go Lemmy!!
Look for it in just a few days! -DrewZilla
Awsome!
MegaMan
Tom Rivera huh?
Can you please tell me a bit more on modifying the fuel system? I didn’t really get that part
Just wondering since it didn't make the test rounds, what is Your take on the Vance & Hines 2 into 1upsweep? Your videos are very informative, Thanks!
It's a great option, especially if you're looking to make a bit more power. 2-into-1s are generally best for that. -DrewZilla
Your a real cool cat dude...love your videos. My question is...do you need a fuel pack or any other changes if your only changing exhaust to slip on mufflers? Im only interested in sound...Thanks
If you keep the stock air filter, you do not need a fuel tuner when just installing slip-ons. -DrewZilla
Do you have too tune your bike when you put slip ons.
Vance and Hines is the best overall for Harley Davidson motorcycles because they are made for the Harley Davidson motorcycles...
I love Harley Sportsters and want to get into riding, where should I look to find used ones affordable by a teenager
You might check out Craigslist. -DrewZilla
Thanks! I'll check it out.
If you passed the course with flying colors, then sure, you could go straight for a Sportster 883. -DrewZilla
Love the two bros comp s but doesn't it bottom out on right hand turns?
With shorter shocks it will, but with the shocks chosen in Episode 3 on suspension, there's plenty of clearance. -DrewZilla

Hi Lemmy, any thoughts about the flat black Bassani Radial Sweepers? I have 'em installed on my 2013 Iron 883 and I think they're a good full system exhaust. They look and sound great!
Yes, that's a nice exhaust, and what really matters is that you like the way they look and sound. -DrewZilla
