I didnt see this mentioned but throughout this video Cappy can be seen teleporting to the odyssey after a warp.
This is called an ICRC and happens when X/Y is pressed on a precise frame after a warp causing Cappy to teleport to the odyssey.
Cappy can then stay unloaded on the globe until moved on to the camera, allowing Mario to globe instantly after grabbing the last moon.

🤓 erm ackshually, ICRCs work with X, Y, A, B, and shake. Both of the useful ICRCs are done with a shake. When an ICRC is performed with a shake, you gain control of cappy afterwards which is how we get to the globe. Also, we don't leave him on the globe and then load it, we time it so he goes on the globe just as we collect the moon. Otherwise, the moon doesn't count (yes I know you know this already lex)

Why did you use Tyron18's 56:01 as the record at the start of the video instead of Zack and Jambo's 55:44 when the whole video was about 2P?

Yeah as a 1p 2c player, the reason roll cancels are frame perfect is cause you can’t buffer inputs. This also makes tricks like snow dram MUCH harder
