Do you know where I can see the 53:28 btt speedrun ? Because the one in the description is "only" a 54:15
so 54:15 is the fastest one out right now, but if you go to the btt sheet which is in the description of that video you can click on each of the segments and see where it saves time

Unlike RTA runs, BTT allows a trick called Network System Clock Abuse. If I understand correctly:
The Switch is connected to the Internet, so the system clock would normally be synced with an online clock ... except the run is started with low battery, so the system clock is not synced to save battery power, and the system clock is manually set forward several minutes so that "Spring Forward" occurs in Sand Kingdom. Sometime after the Sand Kingdom seed moon is collected, the Switch is plugged in and the system clock is synced, setting it backward just enough so that "Spring Forward" occurs in Metro Kingdom.
