@Memer Dreamer I jumped it into a pond on accident and it was underwater for 40 minutes. I tried recovering it but every part was messed up so i thought i might as well by a new one.
@Memer Dreamer i was only 12 and neither I or nobody in my family/friends knew about rc cars like that my best option was to ask for a new one for christmas. Idk why you are so concerned lmao.
From someone who has been a basher for 15 years now and just recently gotten into racing. I can tell you 3s in a 2wd class truck is no easy feat. I’ve personally never liked it due to its rear end kick out nature in such small throttle inputs.
@@RCKnockout it makes it much more enjoyable. I run my race set up blitz on 2s and it bites really good. I’ve hooked up to 3s just to see if I could grab some of the bigger triple and quad lines and my lap times were slower.
@@Sackmatters I’m surprised the times were slower..you can definitely make cleaner laps on 2s…my 2wd slash just won’t hook up on 3S..not on this surface with these tires anyway
Love seeing some action at the track! Race twice a week and my indoor clay track. Need to do some setup changes on the Slash. Webbed tires and lower ride height to start. Started with a Slash now I race a B6.3 and T6.2. It would be awesome to see you racing with a couple people in a future video. Have a good one 👍
@@murder_wagon I’ve thought about a Team Associated but I’m not sure how much interest or growth that will bring to the channel. They’re definitely more racing oriented. I’m more into bashing
Yeah 2wd takes more skill but you’ll never be able to get the lap times of a 4wd machine unfortunately. The 4wd machines can give you much more pull out of the corners unlike the 2wds which struggle to hook up
Man your doing awesome on this technical small dusty track with a 2wd slash I'm impressed how you put in some good laps, I think that you should experiment a little bit more with tires to make the car more maneuverable on that particular track, maybe even try changing the camber in the front to make it understeer a little more but it looks to me that you can make minor changes to get big results 😊🇩🇰👍
I’m probably gonna get a 2wd! Should I get a wheelie bar with it or nah? Kinda a beginner but I don’t have any tracks close to me so I won’t be doing much off roading
Hey rc knockout ik this vid is old but I’ve seen a few of your 2wd slash videos and most of them you have a problem with the spin out which is obviously very reasonable considering it’s 2wd. Butttt if you assemble tsm to the esc it’s be so much easier to control and idk if you know but a lot of races allow it! :)
@@RCKnockout also it can be in % so like if there is a time where a high end race is going and they do allow it it’ll probably only be around the 10% range

@@RCKnockout Yes I have tried thunder road but I prefer smaller tracks for 10th scale rc cars and that track looks fun and a little closer than Maquoketa! I started with a slash and now I have a rustler and I love it. have you driven a Rustler VXL yet?
I picked up a 2wd after my old 4wd got busted beyond repair and I love how you can drift it around the track more. Great video btw.
Thanks! Yeah the 2wd definitely is a fishtailing machine!

Yeah it definitely is quite a bit more challenging than a 4x4 machine. I probably should try running a 2s pack in my 2wd when I’m on the track

Looks like a fun little track. Definitely a challenge with 2WD. It would be interesting to get your opinion on driving it with 2WD vs 4WD slash.
It’s all in the preference, racing 2wd is not bad, just takes more skill…. All my rc’s are 2wd even my slash.
30 weight in front 50 weight in back, lay the shocks down more on shock tower no more flip overs. Just something to think about.

Thank you! Learning to tune the shocks and get the toe and camber adjusted properly is definitely gonna take some practice
Nice find for sure. Hit it when it's a light sprinkle to make it a little tacky. We dont have nothing around here like that.
Yeah it’s a nice track. But very little grip especially with a 2wd
Just bought one of these for my son today. I chose 2wd because it was cheaper lol. I’m in the single dad budget.
That’s probably the better starter rc for a kid anyhow…..good choice!

Nice track action. You should try running 4x4, it should stick to them turns a little bit easier than 2wd. Looks like a blast.
Yeah I’m sure the 4x4 will perform significantly better at least through the corners
Nice track. I have an Arrma Senton 4x4 but heard the Traxxas slash is great.

Why the holes in the top of the body ? Heat or to pick it up I’m new to RC looking at buying a second car

Thanks! It’s the 3500 velineon

Is the steering sensitivity adjustable? Or does it just turn the wheels all the way in whichever direction you steer it?
It’s proportional……if you turn the transmitter wheel half way…. it’ll turn the wheels half way…. Full turn will turn the wheels fully…etc…
