    I bought the brushless truck for My 10 year old Nephew. He drove His Brother's ECX AMP DB at Thanksgiving and loved it. I raced RC's when I was very young. Might as well get these guys into it as well. Great video. Thanks for sharing

    is the rest of the chassis/suspension still the same? Im picking up a brushed model for my brother for christmas knowing that the motor will probably be swapped out regardless, but want to make sure the parts wont become obsolete within the next year

    Does your start line have any electronics to keep track of laps/times? Trying to figure out how to accomplish this on the DIY price tag.

      @papashay86 yup. There is a phone app that tracks everything. You can create user names and it remembers them.

    I might have missed it, but are both of the trucks geared the same? I know out of the box the BL-2s Slash is geared higher the the stock Titan Slash.

    I wonder what's the difference between this motor and the VXL3

    • @KrebsbachRacing
      @KrebsbachRacing  Год назад

      The VXL3S is a 3 cell battery. Higher voltage. Must faster. The one we tested is 2S, or 2 cell battery.

    • @mhelander1337
      @mhelander1337 Год назад

      The VXL motor is a 3500KV motor and runs 3s lipos, while the BL-2s is a 3300KV motor that runs on 2s lipos

    • @Charlie6969
      @Charlie6969 10 месяцев назад

      The "VXL" motor is a 3s capable 3500 kv motor, The "BL-2S" motor is a 2s capable 3300 kv motor.
      Kv basically means rpm. at no load with 1 Volt applied.
      The "VXL" motor also has a lot more touque even on 2s lipo, compared to the BL-2S motor.
      Having experienced both of the systems, I would say the BL-2S system fits in between the XL-5 and VXL power wise, closer to the XL-5 than VXL. Hope this helps.
      Edit: The BL-2S motor is also a "sealed" can, so not really easy to rebuild/maintain. So if your bearings need cleaning/replacing, you're pretty much better off getting a new motor. Where as the 3500kv VXL can be easily taken apart for service.

    it seems like the brushless lack some bottom end torque but makes up with rpm

    Never seen ur channel but i sibscribe immediately why? Because of the track. If u can do subjective and objective reviews like maybe track times every car u test that can be objective i will stay subscribed, no ones does that think about it!!!

      Coming from a brushed XL-5 car, I can see it being a nice upgrade in power. But as far as brushless systems go, not really that powerful.
