I just practice this technique on mu curly hair!! And I'm super happy with the results!!! My hair feels smooth, soft and shy!!! Will continue using this technique!! Thanks!!
M. Ashfaq i actually have curly hair, and curly hair is actually really dry so the point of having curly hair is to absorb as much moisture as possible 😂 i think you have maybe wavy hair or something different
I tried using this technique and it worked but half way through using high heat my blow dryer melted a little so uh yeah but the product was still great!
It’s not really because the hot air isn’t forced on one part of the hair so it’s really just sealing the hair strands which makes it soft and straight because of the heat. I have long hair and I do a similar technique and it’s so nice. It also dries hair a lot faster for me because air drying takes like 1-2 hours and this only takes about 20 mins
I shampoo my hair everyday bc I use an oil-based product on a daily. I followed your advice and apply conditioner everytime I shampoo, I also use hair oil before I style and at the end of the day after washing my hair. Is this alright?
Wow, my hair is actually straight... At least something But I find that my hairstyle ends up super flat and that my forehead appears too big, because my hair is all going back. Is there a fix for that?
To all the indian frnds if u want the same effect u can have "cysteine protein treatment" it have the same effect unlike the keratin treatment which make hairs lifeless... I have cowlicks and trust me after that cysteine protein treatment my hairs are so naturally manageble...
not really because it's the heat that makes this work. If you let your hair cool too much you won't get the same results. If you're constantly moving the blowdryer as demonstrated here you should be fine, especially if you use heathy products like cloud control!
"Your hair is gonna feel different after you do this technique, like a totally different texture". Yeah, there's another word for that. It's called "Burnt".

@@Facts.FYI_ My hair and scalp is naturally a little dry. Although I have no problems with using this method with a prestyler. I can also recommend this with using some oils/seriums/conditioners before blowdrying.
Dude I have literally tried every technique, I’ve got thick, curly and wavy hair, and this technique somehow managed to make it perfect. Once again joe comes in clutch with an awesome, yet simple process
Im officially terrified right now! I did it all, it looks cool but all the comments about losing hair are freaking me out UPDATE: 2 days later I still have my hair
The comments are just stupid and made from uneducated people. Of COURSE holding high heat right onto 1 area in your scalp will burn it and damage the hair. But as long as you're constantly moving the blowdryer with the paddle brush, then heat will be distributed evenly and your hair won't be damaged. ESPECIALLY if you use a prestyler oil that prevents heat damage, like he did. Also may I ask, how long does your hair stay in this malleable form? A few days? A week? Im planning on trying this technique today but I'm just interested to see how often this style needs to be redone
As someone with VERY curly and dry hair, I can tell you using this method with the right leave-in conditioner had a very positive result for me. You may not have it exactly like our host here, but the frizz and curls will 90% go away with enough patience. Btw, for those of you with similar hair to mine and are lost and looking for a good leave-in conditioner to help with that dry hair, here are my recommendations: -Deva Curl Leave-In Decadence -Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Leave-in Milk w/ Fig Extract & Baobab Oil (I know, my hands hurt typing that BS out.) -Agadir Argan Oil Hair Treatment -TRESemme Heat Tamer Leave-In Spray The order: -The first two you leave in your hair after showering and apply them to wet hair -The TRESemme Leave-in Heat Tamer spray goes on next while hair is still damp to help protect from any heat damage. -Next, do the Flat Wrap Technique while ur hair is still damp with everything -After all is said and done, Use a tiny bit of the Argan oil after your hair is dry and styled for slight added shine I really hope this can help someone else out there lost and looking for some answers, good luck folks. And *thank you very much* for the awesome video BluMaan!

So if Ive got this straight you're not training your hair to go in any particular direction but for it to become malleable enough to go in any direction? Also I'd never keep my bathroom door open while doing this and risk someone realizing the effort and time I'm putting into styling my hair. That's a death sentence to my claims of heterosexuality for sure. I mean if you're putting in more time/product/styling tools/ effort into your hair than your girl it's hard to commit to owning that long term. No matter how nice it makes my hair look.
