And I never doubted it. I had this picture in mind, when imagining the planned features of BATC, how this tool will change the way I used to fly for the most of my 30 years with flight simulation. It has become obviously clear that I made the right choice in going with BeyondATC. You guys have done a fantastic job and created a great addon, that was also a great little piece of Christmas news I was not expecting. It was a pleasant surprise, I can't wait to try it and can't wait for the VFR down the road. I have been using BeyondATC right from the get go and it only gets better and better. Oh and almost forgot the value for money is also becoming very obvious, I had to go away for a short bit and wasn't able to fly but when I got back my credits where still there waiting for me. Looking good! Just picked this up yesterday, and had my first flight with it today. Worked great, even was able to deal with a go around at KPHX today. All the vectors worked great, and got me right back into the field. Great immersion factor.

Bought the supporters pack about a week before traffic was released. I couldn't wait even a week Lol. I don't regret it at all. Cant wait for this to be on the experimental and also cant wait for VFR. For me it's now impossible to fly without this program

I’m wondering if you guys can add in one additional feature at some point which is pushback. The voices you have would be great along with the ai speech recognition and since beyond atc already has airport taxi information it would seem to make sense.

This is brilliant. It's really annoying having ATC give you the "Did not copy" response, because of the limitation in questions you could ask, even when it's a question ATC should be able to give you a response to. So we'll done again to the team, and looking forward to seeing this implemented👍
Wow! This was unexpected, and I want to commend you on the fantastic work! I have been using SI from the beginning, and you have convinced me to embrace this side of the world now. While I love SI, I feel that the extras being released are more distractions. Additionally, it was disappointing to hear from Brian that traffic injection will be further delayed. I hope they watch this video and take note of the pace set by the BATC team. I’m confident I’m not alone in this sentiment. Kudos to your team for a job well done!
This is awesome. Traffic was/is game changing, but I was recently very impressed by a demo of Say Intentions on Father's Time's channel, comparing it to BATC and some of the LLM stuff it could do was beginning to make BATC look a bit inflexible. However, there were times when the SI controllers would go a bit "off piste", and I didn't like that. Making your own LLM must be a massive task, but I can see how that could really benefit an ATC add-on, as so much of it is very procedural and there are so many rules to follow. Really excited about this feature, and the keyboard addition is perfect. I have 1 request and 1 question. Question: Will this allow us to request and receive vectors on approach if we need them, but the "system" isn't giving them to us? I think that would be really helpful. Request: Could you please make it so that the "speaking" icon doesn't make the buttons go away, and make it so that we can press a button while someone is talking and then have it say our request as soon as there is a gap? On really busy frequencies it can be impossible to get word in edgeways right now. It is quite infuriating to miss your TOD because the controller and other traffic are constantly talking and you can't even press the button!
I recently bought BATC for FSTL AI models but I realized what fun there is with a deep immersion with your virtual ATC as much as when I listen to the communications between the control towers and the real planes when I do plane spotting. I am not perfect in English but LLM will help me greatly to improve. Merci :)

Now when the controller tells me to decend to 2000 feet (into a mountain side), I can tell them the alt. is not possible at this time, and not get a "Did not understand your request response.
I started to play with LLM today on a 5 years old laptop, it's incredible how fast and accurate it is on small model, would love to see this LLM and F5TTS running locally on a seperate SBC

Would you ever consider in the future - an option or checkbox to keep the dialogue more professional without so much of the slang? e.g: Ready to Aviate, Ready for Airways, On Our Way, etc. - as one that is kind of trying to use this as a confidence builder or stepping stone to live online services - it would just be nice to hear only FAA/ICAO correct verbiage.
This type progress is exactly what will get me to come back from Say Intentions. I own BATC, but preferred the more natural flow of SI. I dont ask non-ATC questions, but prefer to speak naturally and not have to memorize responses
The final step of all this would be to include all the official ICAO languages so that you could speak to ATC in spanish, french, arabic, chinese or russian as well. And to go even more crazy, once you have finished implementing VFR services, being allowed to speak the language of whatever country you fly VFR in. So that you could speak Afrikaans to it in South Africa for example.
Honestly, that is why I simply prefer BATC over "the other one". To be clear, I'm not saying that "the other one" is bad, in any way. There are just some things, which I don't really agree with - and some "concerns" which comes with my "disagreements". And no... The pricing is actually not one of my main issues. Again, just to be clear. I won't dive too much into specifics... But I prefer great care and attention to detail. I'll rather have fewer features, done well - than a stream of "neat features" (half of which I'll probably NEVER use anyway), which are rushed, and which (deviating from my "pricing is not one of my main issues" statement for a second) increases the price it costs to use the features (and the product in general). Or, to put it another way : Yes, some people prefer fastfood (and it's totally okay). I just personally prefer a good homecooked meal - i.e. food which is NOT prepared in a microwave oven. Something as "simple" as pulled pork IS best, when it has simmered in a slowcooker for 10 hours (at least!!!!). And I feel that the same goes for BATC. The thoroughness which is put into the product, just makes it more "tasty and tender" to me, personally. And yes, Even though it's not a main issue of mine (we can call it a "pet peeve" of mine) : I paid for my copy BATC - which means it's MINE!!! I can use it as it is - or I can buy me a bit of "credits" for some premium voices, if I fancy that (and continuously support the project that way - besides starting out buying the Supporter pack). Anyway, premium voices are not required! The default voices sound amazing as is!! And better yet : BATC doesn't stop working, just because "I forgot to pay". I'm excited to see what 2025 (and forward) brings. Thank you for everything you've given us in 2024 - and have yourselves a well deserved rest, celebrating the holidays with your loved ones. ❤
Yes exactly, and as mentioned in the video, this is why we've not yet tackled emergency handling. This functionality had to be in place before we could do it effectively.
What a great job they are asking the ATC a question? They could take away from the ATC of Puerto Rico which is San Juan to say oceania to San Juan control and the departure and approach frequency in SJU is for the north and northwest is 119,400 and east and southeast is 120,900 in current reality.

One thing you need to insert is a way to adjust the name of the airline. For example: I create a flight plan with the correct airline code and when I start BATC, instead of taking the correct company name, it brings something completely different. There should be a way to manually adjust this.
Very strange, I've never seen a legitimate airline code be rejected/not unerstood, is this an historic airline or is there something else unique about it?
This morning I was flying my A320 from KDEN to KLAS and had a Southwest plane on top of me the whole flight. The ATC never made either of us deviate. I think that needs to be addressed.

Just so you know, you didn't need to buy BATC to get the FSLTL models, FSLTL is a separate free product.
