Love the Nibbi 24 and 26mm's. Nothing seems to beat those especially per dollar. And they bolt to the flange directly. No floppy tubes. They also look fantastic! Easy to tune.
For a carb that needs a little tuning it did well. I'm sure once you get dialed in your 0-30 time will improve alot. I think you should get just under 3secs. If I had to guess I would say in the upper 2's
I think it's awesome that someone could buy the Tillotson 225 from GoPowerSports and then be able to upgrade the carburetor or at least experiment with different carbs really inexpensive.
Anytime I use a flexible boot I add a flat metal brace from top of the carb to the open bolt hole on the head. I have had those flexible boots vibrate off when holding the weight of the carb on it.
I would have at least put a piece of t-shirt over that carburetor, leaving it open like that could suck in a small rock and all the dust particles. Imagine a small rock popping up into the air and getting sucked right into the carb, the engine would be done for! Lol
I've seen in your other vids you have a welder. Step up to a larger exhaust. I run nothing smaller than 1 1/4" exhaust on the 224's I build. The throttle response and speed will improve over that small pipe your running.

I have a predator 212 on a Coleman cc100x and I got a new chain because the stock one was to stretched and falling off now the new chain is making the bike jerk and doesn’t feel right. What should I do?
Are you saying that the tilleston 225cc Performance Engine comes with a 22mm flat slide carburetor? I know that if you bought the Tillotson 225cc Performance Engine from GoPowerSports, then that engine doesn't come with a flat slide carburetor, it comes with a regular 22mm Chinese Mikuni carburetor, if I remember correctly.
@@NVScrapper I seen that if you go back and read my comment, I said it wasn't a flat slide carburetor. Lol. I think you might have missed that part, but thanks anyhow. 😆👍
@@NVScrapper Also, I have the Tillotson 225cc Performance Engine from GoPowerSports, and I had them take off the 22mm knockoff Mikuni carburetor and replace it with the 24mm Mikuni flat-slide, so that's why I was just trying to clarify what he was saying, because I have the same engine, unless he didn't get the Performance Engine, but I'll have to check into it more.
@@roypatterson9910 At twenty seconds into the video he clearly states the Tillotson 225 comes with a VM22 "slide" carburetor . He doesn't say flat slide. A VM22 is a slide carburetor.
I got a nibbi 28mm on my 225 stroker and it's doing the same thing yours did on the acceleration. Tried jetting it differently but no help any suggestions?
@Shawn Baker I am yes, but I found that the 28mm was a touch too much carburetor for the motor, so I swapped it for a 26 and a .100 main jet and it runs so much better. The pump is a basic pulse style fuel pump and I use the pulse coming from the intake manifold between the carb and head to prevent the pump from getting oil moisture build up or getting overheated from crank case fume temps.
