I have that carb and I found you need to run a insulator same with vm22 After about 15 min the carb will be 150+ degrees and if you have clear fuel line you will see fuel bubbling up in the line from heat
I have never had any of those issues with my VM22's ore this Nibbi. I have run these things making videos for hours at a time. So far so good. Your engine must run super hot. Or maybe your in a much hotter climate.I hear ya, I would definitely run an insulator if I had those issues.
By any chance would you buy the trailmaster 200 Strom mini bike. I just ordered one and then learned it doesn't have The same set up as the DB30 or mega moto 80.
Possibly. That Storm looks like a cool bike though. You can do a lot with that bike. It's similar in that it has a 196cc engine so all the mods that apply to other bikes should work on that bike. Also, it would be an easy bike to swap out a bigger engine on like a 212 or a 224
The channel is about testing different parts and combos with the occasional build thrown in. Tested many different carbs and the 24MM runs the best with this combo. Thanks for watching!
Hey I just got a tillotson 212cc engine an started to do my Governor removal from watching you video but I got stuck on something's 1st thing I was stuck on. do you half to saw that arm peace off when trying to get it out of the flywheel area or is there a different way because I don't have a saw. 2ed thing what should my moter look like when I'm all finished 3ed. can I use a regular screw to fill in the one hole inside the flywheel area an the top were you sawed the other bolt
use a 1/4×20 Allen button bolt screw with some Loctite for the governor armhole and the press in the shaft hole. It should be a button bolt or a bolt with a small head behind the flywheel so the head of the bolt doesn't hit the flywheel. If you pull the crank out that arm will fall out with no problem.Or Use an inexpensive Dremel from harbor freight and buzz the top part of the shaft off and it will fall out.

It’s a mildly built predator hemi, cm grind cam, billet parts. Juggernaut. Thanks in advance
Thanks! They sell the jets on Amazon for the Nibbi . I started with a 115 main in mine. Ended up with a 130. It's hard to tell with yours because of different altitude and engine mods but You probably will need bigger jets than the ones you have. Check the plug after you ride it for a while with a bigger main jet. You will be able to see right away if its rich or lean .
Black how can you tell if the jet is too big? I bought the 24mm Nibbi. I almost have it dialed in, haven't drove it but revved a lot. Plug is black not wet. I have a 125 main and a 38 pilot. Do you think I should drop the pilot to a 32 or 35? The bike revs niceat higher ranges but "sticks" in the 1/4th - 1/8th range before it takes off. 600-700ft above sea level. What do you think? Was the needle set in the middle like you said?
It really depends on parts used if you're building one and if you get it used or not. You can go from mild to wild and everywhere in between. I have picked up complete bikes for $300 used.
I had a question? On my minibike I have a 30 series torque converter with a predator 212 and it's eating belts like crazing. I was wondering if there was a way to fix that?
You install cams without degree a wheel. I'm like you that l installed them at factory specs and factory specs on valve lash. I'm not to keen on setting valves with a preload. From what I'm told, you set the lash with both valves slightly open and having not much compression on start and lash opens as engine heats up. Give me your thoughts.
There's no need to set to negative lash. There wouldn't be any noticeable power gain from a few extra thou of lift. Why not just set them to zero? The 3 thou that guys use is a good number because it's in between zero and the Honda GX200 spec. All you are doing is making sure you aren't too tight or too loose. I think there is too much overthinking about valve lash. It's a simple adjustment that I set and forget. I have utility engines that I set to the GX200 spec many years ago and haven't touched them since. You need a ton of hours on them before they go too far out of spec from valve train wear.
I have a stock coleman, just got the intake adapter with the carb and the filter, but i just took the stock carb, should i remove the other accessories as well? Is there a cable to the governor?
Everything comes off. The VM22 doesn't use any of the stock linkage. Check out the CT200U-EX playlist. It shows a VM22 install ruclips.net/video/X0SmAZJ6qW8/видео.html

I wonder what the end cost of these affordable Mini bikes is after all of the upgrades
It really depends on parts used if you're building one and if you get it used or not. You can go from mild to wild and everywhere in between. I have picked up complete bikes for $300 used.
Great video. What nibbi carb would be good for a Honda GX390?
Do you think a fully built 212 would get similar results?? 🤔 absolutely love this channel!!😁✌️💚
He has a video on a billet 212 vs a stock 224
I had a question? On my minibike I have a 30 series torque converter with a predator 212 and it's eating belts like crazing. I was wondering if there was a way to fix that?
You need better alignment that's what would eat the belt if it wasn't aligned correctly.
You need a ton of hours on them before they go too far out of spec from valve train wear.
how does this compare to say a 24mm flat slide Mikuni

Good Stuff. Thank You. 🏍🔥👍👍👍👍
Where did you buy the $100 billet kit for the 212 predator hemi
What if I live in Florida do I have to change the pilot jet

@Black66 thank you, very helpful
New subscriber been watching your vids for about an week keep up the great work it is very helpful. Also could you please run a 24mm flat slide mikuni on this motor? thanks for the tip! ..does anyone know which jet if you live in Southeast
Bro how do you like this Vs the flat slide you had on the blue tilly with the 265 cam???
They are both good. Very close in comparison
best size Nibbi for the 212 I have pe24 nibbi. what pilot and main jet would you start off with at sea level that would also work at 7000 feet
Say i need s carburetor for my 224 for a reasonable price what do you recommend thank you

@@Black66 I know how to do it I'm just saying so he can get more power out of the motor
Like ur videos...💪🏽💪🏽 I just got the same Nibbi carb for my bike and it's awesome..
if you could help me out that'd be great, what cam do you suggest I use for a arc billet rod standard length and performance piston standard bore? I will also have a billet flywheel, I don't want to do any machinery or clearancing as I don't have the necessary tools but I also don't want to use stock cam as they break with govenor removed.
A 265 cam is a great drop in cam for a 212. If you are going to run a 224 with a billlet rod you will have to do some clearancing on the cam and maybe the block.
@@Black66 mine is just a regular non hemi 212

can I order a pre-made throttle cable for this carb?
not familiar with those carbs. are jets same as any others?
What kind of fuel do you burn, I know it isn't just Gasoline.
Yes, Just gasoline in these test. Check out the Coleman playlist . Thanks for watching ruclips.net/video/X0SmAZJ6qW8/видео.html
@black66 . I am running a predator 224 zip tied governor , header pipe and I had an extra 26mm nibbi carb with uni cold air intake. I have tried the smallest pilot jet (32) and 120 main jet. I am at sea-level elevation. The spark plug was very very soaked black. It did run and idled but was very rich and smoked. It seemed to get flooded. What should I do to get it to run a bit more lean and idle better with no smoke? Also the smoke did clear up after a few minutes.
Hey Austin, 1year later doing the same build with a 26mm. Did you end figuring out the issue or did you end up going with another carb?
What tooth clutch and sprocket did yu use in this build do yu remember ?
throttle cable end length? only thing left I have to do for build I have no throttle lol
what kind of clutch you rockin on that 224

VM22 is inexpensive and easy to tune .
Hey man I just added 18lb springs to my new 224... it is literally impossible to turn over no matter what I do to the exhaust lash. Last ditch effort before it gets returned? Been doing .003 for intake and exhaust.

The nibi I put on my 225 is a 26 mm that you have to use the rubber sleeve with. It'd be nice to have one that bolts on. I'm going to be swapping over to that 24 mm Mikuni and I'ma pick up one of those 24 mm nibbies to compare them
Could you let me know which one you think is best?
@@lawrencepayne5082 it's really about application, I have a bunch of new internal parts that I'm going to be putting on the bike ( bigger cam, higher compression, port & polish, methanal m1) and we'll be using several different carburetors for several different reasons. I run a 26 to 28 mm carburetor for drag racing only, (methanol) and I will swap to a 22 or 24 mm carb so I can get more velocity for just average riding around. And will be ran with gas only.
