I like how Ramsay keeps trying to scare Wildlings, like they don't care about your dogs who eat people, they know people who eat people. They've fought the dead.
the magner of the fenns would not be impressed no
Tormund for sure did not give a damn lol
Heck there probably are people who eat people among them.
Exactly. I remember after this scene that tormond is so unfazed. But he knows that the horses could do some damage from Stannis in season 4. But about hounds; couldn’t give a shit 😂 as well as Jon being threatened with death. Boy he’s already seen the other side before you. That’s why he challenges Ramsey with a 1v1. But Ramsey pussys out cos he knows Jon could kick him out of the park😂 and Jon just cut deep on him. And you can tell it affected Ramsey. It’s just with them having rickon it was tricky
@@kinginthenorth2928 it's sort of like when Robb refused to dual Jamie.
Ramsey was such a brilliant casting. Literally 100% the entire series.
man I hate him so much that I love him
It’s so weird because anything else he’s been in he’s the nicest guy
@@youngrozzer3217 first time I watched him in something was in Misfits years ago. Was brilliant in that also.
Not unlike Joffrey. A shame that the worst characters got the best casting
@@collinharris4848 How is that a shame? The people HATE Joffrey & Ramsay, and that was thanks to the intense splendid acting of the 2 actors.
Lyanna Mormont's death stare was the best.
She nailed that!
when you get sent to bed without dessert
Although it would have been amazing to see her ripe Bolton to shreds with her cutting edge sass I respect that Laynna Mormont had too much integrity to even speak a word to that vile creature
Cringe fan service
Man, did she look grim.
i love how Ramsay calls Jon bastard, as if he isn't a bastard himself lol this episode was amazing
This was after he was legitimized as a Bolton. He was precisely making the point that they are not the same, and it of course shows how deep Ramsay's inferiority complex ran, he thought calling Jon a bastard was the bigges insult he could throw at him when at this point Jon couldn't care less any more.
@@BigUriel who cares that he got legitimized his father was killed by him so it doesnt mean anything in the end
@@filipberes319 of course it doesn’t matter, but it mattered to Ramsay.
@@BigUriel remember what Tyrion said, “never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not, where it like armor. Ramsey’s bastard insults are like little pin pricks to Jon at this point. He’s accomplished so much with a bastards name.
@@BigUriel Jon never cared about being a bastard, even embraced it. That's why he volunteered to take the black.
I need a 10 hour version of Ramsey getting beaten by Jon
eaten by the hounds*
look up jon vs ramsay (extended edition)
Ozzy man reviews has an extended version with a bit of humour added in 😉
It actually took them a full day to shoot Kit beating Ramsey
and kit actually hit his face twice by accident. then they had beer afterwards. LOL
Sansa; "You're going to die tomorrow Lord Bolton...sleep well."
Finally, a Stark that keeps their promises.
Well they aren't Lannister's lol. Maybe sansa really is part lion.
@@Leviatiemily Sansa is a secret Lannister confirmed 👌
she shouldn't have said lord bolton but instead some derogatory term like sadist or dog. Why would u be polite to someone u wanted dead???
@@l_ifeefi_l1998 it's way better to say lord Bolton than bastard or snow
@@l_ifeefi_l1998 she is not going to call him bastard in a derogatory way with her own bastard brother right there 🤣
"He's good... very good." hahahaha that was amazing.
For some reason that's my favorite part of this entire amazing scene. Ramsay's reaction is great
It was like suggesting the idea that all Jon had in mind was, "Bitch, you have to start making VIABLE threats."
The whole scene i was thinking exact the same. This Ramsay bitch thinks he's scary, does he have any idea what Jon and his men had seen and been through ?
and then Ramsay proved to outsmart him with the whole rickon situation poor kid was dead the moment Ramsay had him.
Akeesh Darius He didn't outsmart him. What Jon was supposed to do, watch his brother getting killed like an animal ? He did the right thing, the problem was that he was outnumbered and his bitch sister didn't told him about the Vale Knights she had.
"Will your men want to fight for you, when they hear you wouldn't fight for them?"
Powerful.
*Everyone runs away*
The Boltens are the true Kings of the North
@@jamiejones7677 I’ve got their banner hanging on my wall, a naked man holds few secrets but a flayed man holds none
House Mormont saved Jon's live! It was a Mormont shield Jon used to fend of Ramsey's arrows. One of those 62 men battled all the way up to Winterfell and fucking saved the day. They are lucky Lyanna Fucking Mormont was there.
Lmao
love this comment 😂😂
hahahahah :D love this sarcasm !
Good catch!
😂
I just noticed that Sansa wasn't there when he tells them his hounds haven't been fed for 7 days.
Ha right, will just have to assume she was told about it.
same thoughts. 😊
XmLaww Perhaps Lyanna Mormont showing her age going "and then he said his dogs hadn't been fed for 7 days!!!" ...no? :P
she was leaving but she was still in the general area, she probably heard him
somebody must've told her it's not that hard
"From the way they talk you're the best swordsman that ever walked"
The first time you see ramsay legitimately scared. He tries to play it off, but him talking with jon is the first time you see any sort of restraint from him, and it's because he feels threatened.
Everything Jon said threatened him. He was shocked by Sansa though
Arthur Dayne: Because I was their to guard his mom during her labour 😎😎
He's right tho, he doesn't really need to fight Jon 1v1 and risk getting killed if Jon was that good, when he has clear numbers game and fortified castle to back him up.
I was actually surprised at Sansa here, because you can tell Jon is conflicted about what to do and Sansa is like "hell no, this ends now, I know who this guy is and he will never honor any deal" and seals the deal that fight is inevitable.
Think about Ramsey what you want, but he was great villain, because he had uncanny ability to spot someone's virtue\strength and twist it, such as let's say chopping off Theon's d1ck (which he was famous for), or him r@ping Sansa on their wedding night because he knew she was a virgin (aka he perverted sacred rites).
@@njmfff great comment man, and you're totally right. If it wasn't for Sansa and the veil, jon would have lost this war. And Ramsey is an amazing villain because he doesn't play to strength. He's a great archer but his real talent is manipulation. I've always found those villains more interesting. He isn't the mountain that can just intimidate people by his mere presence. His fatal flaw though was his ego and the chip on his shoulder being a bastard. He was right that his army could beat Jon's but it basically emasculated him that he essentially had to back down in fighting jon. Even making the point to call jon a bastard because he's insecure. He's a great villian and his own strength wound up being his downfall
@@njmfffLol was Really Theon famous for it?
Lyanna’s stank face at Ramsay lmao love her
The little 🐻
She was a giant
0:38 Lady Mormont was like "I think we've had enough small talk"
This is a fantastic scene. You can almost feel the tension when Jon asks about him not fighting for his men. That pause!
Is no one observing Sansa at all? Look how at first she takes a breath as soon as Ramsay starts the conversation because she knows she’s still terrified of him here, but then she abandons all of her fears of him and finishes the conversation with a beautiful resolution. Confidence in her words and in her resolve.
There are comments all over about her. So yes, people were watching her. Also, using the word resolve right after resolution is rather redundant.
@@Adaephonable😮 I like you
She also knows that the Knights of The Vail are on their way.😎✌️
I like the way Ramsey delivers his lines. I liked how he sounded when he talked about John being the best swordsman.
Ye
Big facts
I love how attentive Tormund is when Jon is talking his shit. He looks inspired
Iwan Rheon is a fantastic actor, definitely one of the best in the show.
I love Jon's face at 3:43. Yes, Sansa told him all about Ramsey, but this is where the shock of seeing how deranged he is really hits Jon. Excellent acting by Iwan Rheon.
0:38 My favorite moment of this scene!!
Adorable. I can feel her anger through my screen hahaha
A sneer like none other 🙏
THE BATTLE WAS SO EPIC MY HEART IS POUNDING UNTIL NOW. I JUST WATCHED IT. JFC. I WANT 9 EPISODES LIKE THIS
Hey
+Anna Aegi hey
You mean you want 9 more Seasons?
Jacopo Franzotti I mean, episodes that are epic af, but hey, that's not bad, endless GOT lol
+Len Sheene true. They could keep going. In the preview they saw that Sansa and Jons brother was on two legs... (But that could have been him going back and watching people grow into what they are now). But one of my questions is, how is Theon and his sister going to kill their uncle and how are they going to join forces with one of the best characters on this show?
0:37 The utter disgust on Lyanna’s face had me cracking up for what should’ve otherwise been a serious scene 😂😂
A lesser actress would've had me cracking up but she sold it. Big time. Just from her facial expression I got the feeling she wanted to rip Ramsey's balls off.
Rickon's death hit me really hard. He's been on the show since he was so young. When he died, I saw that little boy from seasons one and two, fall trying to reach his brother. I've only cried twice at death on this show; Shireen's and Rickon's. RIP Rickon 😢😢
What are you smoking. He could have not even been in the show and nothing would have changed. He meant literally nothing the entire time. Except perhaps this one time.
@@Whiteboykun guess it's just sad he never got the chance to be a character
@@Whiteboykun lol
@Whiteboykun Errr.....no. Rickon was the heir to Winterfell. Not Jon, not Sansa. Without Rickon, the unbroken line of Lord Starks is ended. That's why Rickon is so important.
@@neilpemberton5523ask Queen Sansa can literally f*** any man she wants, spit bastard out, immediately legitimize him and one day he will be Lord Stark. No. He will be king of da Norf.
Lyanna Mormont face when he calls her a traitor she's amazing
BEST EPISODE OF ALL SEASONS
without a doubt
All seasons? Ehhhhh no. This season.... well possibly, episode 10 left. The best episodes are the surprising episodes, and while this episode was spectacular, it wasn't very surprising. It's a bit impulsive to just say it's the best when there are other contenders for that spot.
+CyaLatte "Opinion" Fav ep for me
It's also an opinion.
This was Hella disapointing, come on we all knew how it was gonna play out with the vale charge at the end and dany dragons flying away
I love it at 2:56 Sansa has had enough and wants to wrap up that bs meeting 🤣🤣🤣
Iwan rheon is so great at playing Ramsey, that i am wondering if his family and friends are not affraid of him... ;)
hes so natural with it makes me think if thats really him
Same as the actor who played Jeoffrey. In one RUclips video, he made a seemingly innocent sentence turned real scary.
He'd fuck his own sister for a slice of cheese
Save me Barry!
Iwan was scared of RAmsey if that doesn't tell you how well of the acting Iwan did
"...Aye you have the numbers. But will your men fight for you when they hear you wouldn't fight for them? " Epic. Love house Stark for their dedication to honor and righteousness.
Lyanna Mormont throwing some serious shade
0:57 I simply laughed when he said that, I mean this has got to be the biggest joke Ramsey has ever said. 'Man of mercy' haha, good one, Ramsey, had me rolling on the floor!
💀
Such brilliant acting in this episode! Especially Sophie Turner and Iwan Rheon. Amazing!
Kit Harrington was good too and the guy that played Davos
@daith_izumi Liam Cunningham is always outstanding.
Just one of the many amazing scenes in the show. Everything Ramsay does is calculated including calling Jon “bastard” numerous times.
It's also a good example of projection. He thinks it hurts jon to be called bastard(which it doesn't, he's used to it), and that's because he personally hated being called a bastard. I'm glad I found your comment because this is a nuanced psychological issue with Ramsey that, I feel, goes unrecognized for the most part.
I know. He’s a fucking hypocrite and a mad lad and a psycho. Since he’s longer a bastard because he committed two acts of kinslaying. I wonder if it’ll be 3 acts in the books🤔
anyone who also liked the scene in mereen?
Loved it
OMG Dragons dragons and more dragons, please
Those effects were amazing! The shot with Dany riding drogon with the shot of the city under drogon gave me chills!
me omg it was amazing
it was incredible would have been the talking point if it was put at the climax of the last episode. Got upstaged by the finale.
AND NOW THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A STARK IN WINTERFELL
Until someone very powerful overthrows us again
But then we will rise.
+Jon Snow stop
Athena Sloan Being awesome? I think not
Jon snow He is*.
My father/uncle didn't raise any uneducated Jon Snows in da house
I wasn't as satisfied with ramsays death than I thought I would be, probably because I just love how good of a villain he is, and how well the actor portrays him. He's such a great character
I'm not one to get emotionally invested in fictional characters but man I hated Ramsay Bolton. Such a little fucker
… his death was pretty god damn satisfying sorry lol. Don’t know what you want haha
He deserved torture before death. Should have removed his manhood like he did to Theon
Because technically he did everything correct. He was a great villain, he needed to be beaten properly, by being outsmarted. Instead Jon just fell for every bait even when Sansa told him he would bait him.
As much as I felt Sansa should end him.. I truly, wanted them to instead of cock tease us with the "Jon" being the hero bit, they just leaned into it. the entire complex of "Game of thrones is never what you expect" really made you know absolutely what would happend.. Instead we wouldn't have seen Jon win the battle from brilliant tactics (instead they had to make him beyond emotional so a woman could win it for him.) And later the showdown we all waited 8 fucking seasons for.. was spoiled because Arya needed to do a "Teleports behind your back..." Season 6 is where GOT ended, un-resolved and unfurfilling, but atleast it made sense.
The psychopathic glaze of his eyes and that with his acting -- Amazing actor.
This episode saved the season. Best episode of GoT ever!
the season hasn't been bad just a little inconsistant. First episode was okay then they had 4 amazing episodes (IMO) and then three alright ones and now this and 10 will be good as well I hope. Inconsistant is the word I'd use.
Unfortunately everything went to shit after season 6
Really? I felt it was so obvious that the knights of the Vale would arrive and save the day that it simply seemed poor writing.
For me, this is the ending of game of thrones. Stark's took back winterfell and they live happily ever after 😂
Season Finale was amazing too. And the season itself wasn't bad honestly
Unfortunately everything went to shit after this season
The actors in this series are absolutely sensational. Phenomenal casting and the actors brought their best every week. Super impressive to bring all those emotions and brilliant subtleties in their performances so consistently for so long, even those in "smaller" roles. We can become numb to those emotions in our daily lives, so while I'm here on my soapbox I think that may be a big reason why this series was so highly regarded worldwide for a decade. Even more impressive if you're someone who thought the writing failed them- they sure didn't fail masterfully performing it.
Agreed! 💯 The characters/actors are just 👌👌👌
*Why wait until the next morning? Why not charge at him right there? Lyanna Mormont looked like she was ready to kick ass!*
Ramsey's men including him totaled 8 while there were 7 able men on Jon's side including jon. Ramsey didn't have superior numbers there.
its the ancient battle etiquette observed during parley (talking) - there is to be no violence during parley. i broke that convention when i took the head off The Mouth of Sauron in ROTK at The Black Gate. My bad. not sayin I'm sorry for it.
+Elessar Telcontar i love this comment
Because Ramsay had Rickon. Notice that, when asked for proof about Rickon, he could only show the direwolf's head? He didn't take the chance of bringing the kid.
+Paul Shannon thx Paul! Namarie!
Ramsey almost laughed when he said "I am a man of Mercy" His bullshitting was hilarious to him even!
That Little She-Bear looking at Ramsay thinking... you is a B*tch!!! 0:38
“Will your men wanna fight for you, if they heed you wouldn’t fight for them?” Coldest line
That was the best performance Ramsay ever made in my opinion. He was still the same madman but he had a touch of Jaoquin Phoenix from Gladiator about him, a mad emperor. This was a perfect episode.
7 years late, but yes that's a very good point.
I like how all of them even the little girl see right thru him. He projects fear but a different type the sadistic type. They project fear but from skill and their victories. And they all see him as a weak needy man.
We can hate him but you will admit that he is an amazing actor. Look at the way he smile when he says yours balls
This is one of the most brilliant episodes of television I’ve ever seen.
this was around when the show peaked. Where you truly felt invested in what was at stake, and clever dialogue. Jon’s little subtle jab “will your men want to fight for you when they hear you wouldn’t fight for them?”
Such a clever and subtle insult
No, sweaty-cockknocker it was the mountain viper peak, this was contrived with Sansas army saving him hollywood style. Faark orf
While this particular scene was very good, the show peaked long before this.
The music, lighting and cinematography is fantastic in this scene, especially the wide shot of Sansa riding away at 3:08. I’m always fascinated by it, it sets the perfect tone.
0:38 lyanna mormonts facial Expression is just awsome! :D
The series was at it best, this battle of the bastards was outstanding.
"I am a man of mercy".
Even a politician´s speech would be more sincere than THAT.
P.S. 3:25 "I haven´t fed them for seven days". Jon told Sansa about that afterwards. End of the story.
He is a politician
“I am a man of Mercy”, i laugh out so hard on this 🤣
GoT Episode 9 is Pure Spectacle! A new benchmark has been set for epic battle scenes. Brilliant direction by Miguel Sapochnik the guy who previously gave us Hardhome in the last season.
You didn't give us a season
@@oddeinarstrand4466 because its every epidose 9 of each season
Hard home was a serious gut punch.
Expression of Lady Mormont...😂😂
Jon owned this whole meet and greet before it even started and with few words in response
The pause that sansa stark took before proclaiming his death was grief. She knew rickon stark was good as dead.

I never get sick of watching this excellent programme
Ramsey : Didn't worry we got this

Turn out we don't got this
The tension and intensity. One of my favorite battles of GOT
Everyone thinks they discovered some huge plot hole that Sansa left before Ramsay said the bit about his dogs not eating in 7 days.
It's not a big deal people, and there's a million other ways she could've found out that information!!!
Sansa- "Where is He?"
Jon- "He is tied in the kennels. But be safe, he said the hounds haven't eaten for 7 days"
At any point Jon, Davos, or the wildling guy could have just mentioned it to Sansa.
It's like saying "It's a plot hole that all these characters are here because we haven't seen any of them born"
+Danny O'Gara Hahaha true that
plothole filled!
im sad that rickon died, because less and less stark remains as the series continues :(
Stark remains. Good choice of words. xP
Luckily we have/had many of em
Pedro Albano bruh :(
Aditya Lee
They're going to appear in next episode I bet.
The "Stark remains". I bet Jon is going inside the crypts to help bury Rickon. And maybe see something more.
I'm sad the Ram-miester died. That guy had class.
Goosebumps every time watching this scene, one of the very best in the whole show!
The way he keeps saying "Bastard" as if that's suppose to hurt Jon. Clearly, Ramsay is projecting his own feelings.
0:38 epic face
im gonna be the only guy to miss ramsay it seems. he was interestin.
Agreed.
I feel abit empy that ramsay is gone and i don't like it
I'm going to miss Rosse Bolton - he was cold, calculating and fiercely intelligent. Ramsay was a sadist and not half as clever as he thought.
Sergej Shifrin yeah roose was legendary, similar to twyin. loved his voice too. soothing
It was my fav character :c
Jon was so freaking cool.
Just to end up back at the wall.
I know. They ruined him
Great acting all around in this scene, especially Sophie Turner and Iwan Rheon. Her hatred and disgust and his arrogance really came across.
that stare from Lyanna though.
any1 else thought the red god was protecting jon from those arrows?
Everyone.
I thought it was the thick plot armour
i think it was the plot convenience shield
Nah, just the screenwriters. Even the gods must bend to their will.
I think it's actually a legit thing to happen. I remember, while reading Tolstoy's War and Peace, loads of parts about soldiers moving around confused in the middle of bullets flying and surviving just from sheer luck. Tolstoy had fought in wars himself and he said it was something that happened during battles. Some people are lucky and some aren't. Jon was.
Best battle I've ever seen, not even close.
"I am a man of mercy"
oh yeah
Right up until the very end I was still hoping that the Smalljon would signal his forces to turn around and fight alongside Jon against Ramsay. That maybe seeing Jon and Sansa would make him remember. So much for the famed Umber loyalty
Well he actually did want to but greatjon umber was held hostage by Walter Frey
His acting is so brilliantly subtle, his little laugh at 1:30 is great!
He is such a brilliant actor, want to see him play every antagonist in great movies
Peak game of thrones.
Tyrions trial was peak
2:56
Sansa rides off, Ramsay tells everyone he hasn't fed his dog in 7 days
how does she later come on to knowing this?
Perhaps a conversation with Jon at Winterfell after the battle had been won, discussing on how they'd like Ramsay to die.
Maybe Jon told her.
yeah yeah
It's not so hard for Jon to tell Sansa " hey , Ramsays dogs haven't eaten in like 7 days , that's a good way for him to die" Sansa: " k m8 "
someone told her of course, could be any of them in the group.
Lyanna mormont at 0:39 was one of the best moments this episode.

Seriously though, lets all praise Iwan Rheon for an incredible performance as Ramsey :D Should win an award for it :D
I desperately miss how good this was. I get such a strange feeling in my stomach of dread and excitement for this. It's so good.
Boltons enunciation is commendable. A pleasingly well spoken bad boy.
That last look as Ramsay's horse turns away - unforgettable.
that was magnificent, I never thought it was such a small scale of people, it was so perfect! This is one of the best fight scenes since the Lord of the Rings, and I think this was better, it looked more real.
There is such a thing as Jon talking to Sansa about the dogs people, stop being idiotic and use your common sense. People talk.
exactely thank you
but thats makes no sense, they have important things like battle strategies and such you think jon is just gonna be like "oh btw the dogs havnt eaten in 7 days"
pretty sure they would discuss what was spoken about when Sansa left. It makes complete sense. I have no idea why people feel the need to pick apart something because they can't find a fault anywhere else. Just complaints no matter what happens.
Exactly people are such idiots find one thing and pick at it. I guess they needed a scene with Jon telling him what he said. If I'm not mistaken the Sansa and John scene was after this.
+Winterfell
Sansa- "Where is He?"
Jon- "He is tied in the kennels. But be safe, he said the hounds haven't eaten for 7 days"
Look at that, not a cell phone in sight. Just people living in the moment!
0:38 The Queen in the North.
Iwan deserved a fking Oscar for this performance. Movie villans film for just a few weeks, have just under 30-40 min of screen time and diolog. This actor had YEARS of shoots, and several hours of dialog and you never once felt board, you only feared him more and wanted him dead more! That is an Oscar worthy performance! Thank you Iwan for giving us fans such a great time hating this character like none other before! Your work will always go down to stand the test of time on this show!
The look on Sansa's face was hilarious, just before she told him what was going to happen tomorrow!
i just realized ramsay says the "I haven't fed my dogs for 7 days" bit AFTER Sansa has left, how did sansa know :O
Did Rickon still have his Dickon after being a prisoner of Ramsey? lol
I'll invest here.
depends... when he was told to run, it probably went full 'inny' instead of 'outy'
Well considering the way he was running (which was normal), I think he still had it. Theon couldn't even walk that poor lad
+Rahman Afzali Wouldn't call theon a poor lad.. he got what he deserved
Mike Miller yeah true that
Sleep Well.
Fantastic episode, i hope Sansa doesn't turn on Jon
Me too
if she does I will turn on her too #familyfirst
she wouldn't
I hope that's unlikely, but I know what you mean: as some article I read said: when someone with Brienne's sense of honour is calling you on lying, you know you're in trouble. Sansa has never resolved her issues with Baelish, and now, of course, PB has a lot of good cards.
LF will problably turn on both of them. He has the numbers
It’s so fitting how the gray clouds are setting upon Ramsay in the background
Best brother sister Duo of all time
Iwan Rheon is so good, he genuinely invites hate from the viewers.
i liked the scene when they dropped the bolton banners and put the stark banners
2:04 Jon looking around knowing he's about to drop one of his hardest lines
I just realise Sansa leave before he said he haven't fed his dogs in 7 days and at the end she tell him "you said it yourself... you haven't fed them in 7 days" I guess not a big mistake though :P
Jon told her maybe?
I guess everything is possible since it might be Jon that placed him in there.
She did ask Jon "Where is he?".
The real question should be, why not a week but instead 7 days ?
Sansa- "Where is He?"
Jon- "He is tied in the kennels. But be safe, he said the hounds haven't eaten for 7 days"
