In hindsight of reading the analyses of AGOT and ASOIAF and the years between the release of the episode and now, this scene I feel actually has some very interesting chatacter moments that give this moment extra weight to highlight the nightmarish awe of this moment. With Littlefinger, we see that underneath the conniving, scheming nature of his position throughout the series, he it at his core a broken romantic boy that developed a nihilistic mask to conceal his injured soul following his disasterous duel with Brandon Stark for Catelyn's hand all those years ago. In this moment, he realises that to his subtle horror and fear, he has through his actions (direct and indirect) created a family generation of smart and truly nihilistic individuals that are utterly changed and no longer who they were at the start of the series that will take the many lessons he has taught them and use them in ways that he could never have conceived possible. A sort of dark subversion of a student surpassing the master trope that we see in fantasy novels. With Sansa, we see the final culmination of her transformation into a political power player of the game of thrones, and see her take full advantage of her knowledge of Littlefinger's schemes and crimes (with the subtle assistance of Bran and Arya) - yet still able to adhere to the honour-bound traditions of her family. With Arya, we get to see both the expert and no-nonsense killer but also how her experiences in TWOT5K have shaped and broken her over the course of the series, a twisted representative of the generation of traumatised children that have grown up admist Littlefinger's organised chaos bringing its morbid justice onto its creator, akin to frankenstein and his monster. Arya still has some ways to go still at this point, but the representation of what she has been forced to become still rings true. I'm not entirely sure about Bran, but with the implication that he's more of a host to Brynden Rivers at this point and a representative of the Wierwood network throughout westeros (a more nature-based magic in comparison to the dragons), this is probably his way of him starting to clear house of the remaining political schemers and advesaries that will lead him to become Bran the Broken. Overall, this is the first time we see the Starks truly playing the Game of Thrones as well. its just that unlike the Lannisters open-handed conniving and scheming, we never truly see what the wolves of Winterfell are thinking or planning. We only do so when its far too late for the victim to really do anything about it.

I've been watching earlier and later scenes in the series (S1-4 vs S5-8) and there's something about this scene that lacks gravity as compared to the earlier seasons.
Can you imagine though, literally the entire story (as far as the show is concerned) is because Little Douche Finger here wrote a letter. And this was his lackluster albeit satisfying end.
"You held a knife in his throat, I warned you not to trust me." 1:48 Bran Stark to Lord Baelish When Bran said those words I felt like someone splashed some cold water over me and it felt like I went back in time to remember that scene where he did warned Ned. OMG! Lord Baelish carelessly forgot that Bran has foresight to look into a person's past.
I don't think Littlefinger would've have slipped up like he did especially when under such suspicion. He had conversations with both Bran and Arya and by then knew they were not just some kids he could manipulate. He should've known they would team up against him. He was one of the most compelling figures in the show due to his ability to always weasel out a deal and manipulate people at the highest levels of power.. Then he dies and gets outsmarted by the stark children?? Okay. Yeah that seems like something Lord Baelish would do..? /s
That knife she holds was the one mean to kill the night king That knife was forged by the time of King aegon targaryan when he had a dream about the end of all men Where King Viserys made Rheanyra the heir to the thrown and told her this secret
He messed with their family, now it’s their turn. Total and complete satisfaction in all their eyes. The family would be so proud of them. The north remembers.
My question is why the dialogue was changed mid way through in this clip. In this clip, when Baelish asks to defend himself he turns around to the leader of the forces of the Vale and says "Harrenhaal, I suppose that's off the table as well", when in the actual episode he tries to use his position as "master" of the Vale to escape the room, and they refuse, which leads him to turn around and get on his knees to beg Sansa for mercy.

the fuck is with this added score
was getting caught part of the plan
Can you imagine though, literally the entire story (as far as the show is concerned) is because Little Douche Finger here wrote a letter. And this was his lackluster albeit satisfying end.
He should've called Saul
"No one cared who I was until I put on the mask."
- Arya Stark
Lord Baylish reminds of a little bit of Saul Goodman - always has an answer and a way to worm out of a situation until it runs out
Is that The Bane theme song playing in the backround 2:26
Naw but sounds very much like his theme
@ u know the track?
The track is Gotham's reckoning from The Dark Knight Rises, it plays in the scene Bane is introduced, and "CIA" Littlefinger dies.

"You held a knife in his throat, I warned you not to trust me." 1:48
Bran Stark to Lord Baelish
When Bran said those words I felt like someone splashed some cold water over me and it felt like I went back in time to remember that scene where he did warned Ned.
OMG! Lord Baelish carelessly forgot that Bran has foresight to look into a person's past.
The music in the end killed me😂
Hans Zimmer's batman score fits perfectly ...
Wtf was that voiceover edit about Harrenhal?? That's not what he said
I don't think Littlefinger would've have slipped up like he did especially when under such suspicion. /s
Chaos is a Ladder
- LORD PETYR BAELISH
That knife she holds was the one mean to kill the night king
That knife was forged by the time of King aegon targaryan when he had a dream about the end of all men
Where King Viserys made Rheanyra the heir to the thrown and told her this secret
He messed with their family, now it’s their turn. Total and complete satisfaction in all their eyes. The family would be so proud of them. The north remembers.
R.I.P while I'm dancing to this 80s music while your laying there. No disrespect
Arya's smirk when Sansa says "Lord Baelish" is top-tier
You can tell this was all D&D because it was so corny and cheesy. Plus, in The North, the one who passes judgement swings the sword
Baelish: "None of you were there to see what happened. None of you know the truth."
Bran: "Welllllll I have news for you Lord Baelish :3"
The wolves have returned and the mean business
My question is why the dialogue was changed mid way through in this clip. In this clip, when Baelish asks to defend himself he turns around to the leader of the forces of the Vale and says "Harrenhaal, I suppose that's off the table as well", when in the actual episode he tries to use his position as "master" of the Vale to escape the room, and they refuse, which leads him to turn around and get on his knees to beg Sansa for mercy.
Why did you voice over the part where he asks Yohn Royce for help with a line from a conversation in like season 1 or 2
I love how Littlefinger wanted Arya dead because she was an obstacle to him, and instead he was the one to face demise.
Arya Stark - The Badass of Winterfell
One of the only things that they got right in the twilight of the series.
One of the most satisfying scenes of GOT besides what happened to Bolton and that High Priestess.
