I appreciate you putting us onto game . I was able to make a solid investment decision and go with the Cameo 4 with some vinyl, Epson wf 7710 set up for sublimation with cosmos ink and a Tshirt press. The cost to operate was well up there, but like all gambling the reward was even higher.
It’s always worth putting your money into something that creates more money rather than leaving it sit. Money depreciates over time make that money multiply.

Man I invested in a sawgrass SG500 and a GCC EX II 24 LX vinyl cutter and it seems as though the printer isn't great. I've gotta push through it!

How do you print with 8.5 x 14 on the SG500? My paper isn’t fitting in the tray🥲
What paper are you using ? I want to go straight from the printer and press right to the shirt.

does it really matter if you let the sawgrass 500 know what paper your printing on because i have texPrint R and my setting said truepix classic and the image came out beautiful and i cant change the setting back i dont know what im doing as usual
Most likely you won’t be able to tell. It’s always good to select what you are using though. Different papers have different thicknesses and the printer outputs a different amount of ink for each. Well so they say.

That is a great question. I’m not sure. I’m going to have to ask around. When I visit hear transfer warehouse this upcoming week I’ll ask them.
NO SG400 /GS800 USES THE SAME SIZE INK......AND ONLY SG500/SG1000 USES THE SAME SIZE INK

Yes indeed. I understand. Trust me when I tell you though. That ink from HTW lasts a long time. My advice would be on your next batch sit aside the money for new ink in the beginning then enjoy the profit the ink cost is honestly not even a thing compared to how many prints you get from each cartridge. Being honest. Gotta pay to play. Spend a few hundred to get a few thousand. No brainier. Gotta have the clientele though.
