Why is everyone bashing this?? Corey's an awesome singer havin fun coverin an awesome song, to entertain the crowd, pretty well I might add. You all compare it to Paul, can u just like it for what it is. If you want it more like the KISS version.....then listen to the KISS version.

Covers are about have fun with a song you love. You can tell everyone is into it.
It doesn't seem like anyone on the internet "gets" what a band is doing when they play a cover tune. I don't think any band, Stone Sour included, is trying to outdo the original song. They are most likely big fans of the song themselves and are just having fun. The same thing any garage band does. The original is always going to be #1 but I think Stone Sour killed it with this cover. They've done 2 EP's of nothing but covers. Check em out

What’s hysterical is I watched some documentary about chaos and Stoned Corey did an acoustic tribute to Chris Coronel. The Alice in Chains singer that OD’d or Blind Melon. I’m not really sure which shoe gazing band he OD’d on because I turned off the chaos. But it was supposed to be a really slalom moment. In the chaos. So now I know why stoned corey is so popular. He asked for much love from upstairs in the chaos for the shoe gazing junkie. Want to know what it would take to reunite Nirvana?

It's actually not easy to sing. Paul Stanley was one of the best skilled vocalists of his era. No doubt about it. Even now you can listen his 80's work and appreciate it. And Corey Taylor is just Corey Taylor here, it's sonething that make us love him for.

I love Corey Taylor ❤. His singing has improved big time. I met him once with Stone Sour at Rock On The Range in 2013 and I got so nervous lol 😂 First thing that comes out of my mouth is.... I love you lol Corey smiled big at me. Then he says thank you. He was so sweet. I told him stone sour and Slipknot are awesome and he's a legendary musician to me!

Musically KISS sucked, so just accept that. The only thing that gained them any notoriety was that silly fucking gimmick with the make-up and platform boots. I give them an A for Marketing, but a C- for actual musical abilities. Put simply, they sucked.
