But they weren't the sole idea of Eric Carr. Go back and listen to him on the 1980 tour with Ace still in the band. He played the normal tempos. The best thing the band ever did was stopped trying to make their classic songs sound like speed metal.

As much as I am an Original lineup guy , they all sound phenomenal here …. I’m ok with the replacement guys , Eric C , Bruce, Vinnie , Tommy , Eric S etc … shit happens in bands and members come n go … I was totally cool with Eric C As the Fox . Etc… new characters ! Just hate that whole thing with the rights and putting Tommy and Eric S in Ace and Peter’s makeup .. it’s like half Kiss / half cover band …
