    You mean to tell me this song was here the whole time? It feels like it fell out of the universe and landed in this moment.

    • @RogerioLupoArteCientifica
      @RogerioLupoArteCientifica 13 дней назад +11

      you just described the reason why being here now means so much. The present is not determined by the past, but actually, it's the other way around. The present moment is the source of the past. In this sense, this song has just been created as if it existed long ago.
      That's not something to be believed but experienced. But that process is the source of what people call "miracles". Somehow people find a way to suspend their belief in the concreteness of the past. Then in a glimpse, they can see through the illusion of time and a fresh new present is born, and with it a new past, where the issue has never existed.

      The first time I heard this song was only a couple years ago myself. I was surprised I had not heard it before. I always think of my mother when I hear this because that day that I first heard it I was driving in my car and my mom had passed a couple of years previous. I was kind of talking to her and feeling really down and missing her. And listening to Spotify comes on. It absolutely felt like her giving me a gentle and loving admonishment. I love the guitar in this and the tempo feels just like a mother’s lullaby. ❤🥹🦋🙏🏼

      @@GEMSofGOD_com however, sorry to sound churlish, but George Harrison died in 2001 and over 20 years later everyone has waited for some reissues. There was an album of rarities 20 years ago. Sadly I should imagine half the fan base who was actually around when he was alive is now dead.
      I quite understand that there is the concept of ‘flogging a dead (dark) horse’ and no one wants that, but a lot of fans have been waiting a while. Wonderful to hear. But selfishly I’d like to hear more whilst I’m still here (clinging on to this rock). I believe we were promised reissues and rarities and hidden tapes, but why does it take over twenty years to hear take 8 of Be Here Now? I’m only here for a brief spell and I’d like more before I snuff it.

    George Harrison was a spiritual artist. He sought after greater purposes of life and gave music to his inner feelings and revelations in a rock era which was itself a challenging task to do.The depth of his songwriting and performances is unparalleled, many of his songs have a real zenful effect.

    Absolutely stunning. Listen on a pair of good headphones.The clarity is stunning. George's vocal is wonderful. His voice is clear and strong. His harmonies- majestic. The few moments where he drops his t's- never noticed that before. The instrumental atmosphere is shimmering. Such a good remix without the original muddiness. I can now hear strange little percussions deep down in the mix that I've never previously heard. A deep note, and something that sounds like fast fingers on some kind of drum. It's all sublime.

    "Be Here Now" stands out as a reflective and meaningful piece in George Harrison's catalog. Its exploration of presence and mindfulness is both relevant and timeless, though its lyrical ambiguity and production choices may not resonate with all audiences. The song remains a testament to Harrison's artistic evolution and spiritual exploration.

    Feels more like a prayer as much as a song. Reaches deep where words cant go. This musical passage feels like it could heal the entire world. Sublime.

    In the last three days I have attended two funerals. These were beloved and important people, one family and one a dear friend. Wasn’t sure what have been feeling. George’s music has a way of appearing at the right time and place to help me understand the world.

    Hermosa, siempre pensé que mis favoritos eran John y Paul, nunca le di la oportunidad al trabajo en solo de George y tiene las canciones más hermosas que existen.

    Dear Dhani and Olivia, This mix is glorious and the video brings the book Be Here Now to life in a gentle, authentic way. This is a powerful, meditative anthem - along the lines of Bangladesh - and it meets the moment. With love and In appreciation, Kathy Alpert (Ram Dass’s niece)

    Today i were refused to put play to this song , even when i know i need that support or that reminder in my busy mind, even when it suddenly appear in my scrolling. And now after i had given it a try the more i hear it , the more i understand, the more i surrender, the more i let go. Now i can walk in peace and know that every small thing in my surroundings try to let me know that all is OK. Thank you ~
