Hey "Musical Rarities", this is nicely put together. I like the "album cover" too! Just to clear up any confusion about these recordings: First of all, they are NOT AI...they were all done between 2009ish and 2019ish. They are all based on demos I found online from the All Things Must Pass sessions, except for Fear Of Flying, which was a Harrison 1979 at home snippet of a Charlie Dore song. All of these songs just had a lead vocal and acoustic guitar by George, except for Dehra Dun which had a little Ringo drums and a little Voorman bass. None of them were full length songs. I structured what I found, added drums or drum machine, bass, electric guitars, acoustic guitars various keyboards and piano, and ALOT of background vocals. It's not a "Walrusz band", it's all just layered by myself. And I have not done it for profit and never monetized the tunes. I love George Harrison music, and I LOVED doing it. Playing along and creating trax with the Harrison demos was like a dream. I hope people enjoy listening to them...and I would love it if Dhani or Olivia ever gave them a listen!

The way he does his backing vocals to sound like a slide guitar is on another level. George is one of my favorite guitar virtuosos.

And I meant it. It sounds and feels like a proper release mixed and produced by say Dhani Harrison? (in the same way Giles Martin does The Beatles releases, stepping into his Father's 'old brown shoe').

These are very cleverly produced tracks, using a lot of George's own musical sensibilities. George's songs use some strange chords on first listening, but after a few listens they really get stuck in your head!
Beautiful work, anyone can say anything, but the sound of George being George's sound, is the sound of the Beatles as well.
Yes and it's not easy. It can't be a new beatles album . Ringo isn't here.
People forget - those early Beatles pop songs... it's George adding the flamenco, jazz and blues chords and riffs - he was the lead guitarist and more educated than Paul or John in terms of guitar... learning from Chet Atkins, John Cash / Luther Perkins, Django Reinhardt, Chuck Berry when they were stuck on Buddy Holly :)

George, was a great creator of beautiful melodies. As I am from Argentina and I know very little English. I don't understand many letters. But he was the best Beatle, that's for sure.

What do you mean, unreleased 'til now. Every one of these tunes are on the 50th anniversary edition of ALL Things Must Pass
You apparently are not much of a George fan.
Look, many of us top fans cannot afford a $149 box set! I knew some of these as demo bootlegs since the 80s-90s.
But for your information, these mixed final versions are created by a fan band of imitators. Only George's vocals and acoustic guitars are his.
Nice collection of stuff I never knew existed. George was a great talent.
All these songs except the second one appear in the 50th anniversary of 'All Things Must Pass' the right name of the third one is 'Nowhere to go'. *'All Things Must Pass’ 50th Anniversary Releases'*

@@michavandam Well yes, just answering to Vortex Pilot's doubt and confirming where to find the originals, also in my opinion and to my personal taste I always prefer the raw versions, those that George himself recorded without any embellishment.

@@juanita6479 But this is NOT on that album. Just the acoustic or basic versions. This MUSIC is recorded by the Walrusz or someting. George's guitar might be heard with his vocal but that's it. Everything else was recoded WAY after George's parts.
I've come back to this for the tenth time now, and I can honestly say this might be one of my favourite George Harrison records, up there with Brainwashed and All Things Must Pass.
I'm pretty sure George would have dug it too.

This is a great Album,some very incredible talent and love done on this production from these demos very impressive
One quote I always loved from George was "If I was the Quiet One the other three must have been really noisy". Thanks for this upload. I always really enjoyed most of George's solo work - yes even Dark Horse so you know this is a true fan talking ! My only real issues were a few of his productions. Extra Texture was so flat it sounded dead and I just couldn't hear past it. And as for Jeff Lynne - ugh. He's a catastrophe to every Beatle he touches. Why he thought glossy 80s slime was just the production style George needed I will never get. Cloud Nine was a good album but with the production of say an early Neil Young album or even many by his good friend Dylan it should have been amazing. Thank God he was somehow restrained on Brainwashed and George's last album didn't come out sounding like the Cars. I like George best when he sounds immediate and raw. It's why the Martin Scorsese soundtrack and All Things Must Pass deluxe reissue were such an amazing revelation. And this is some more no frills George for which I am extremely grateful. Thank you for this upload !!

For a moment I was convinced I heard Jeff Tweedy sing a short line of backing vocal on the first track.. Of-course not, but it was a fun moment, and I'm sure they would have had great fun if time travel was allowed!
I wrote Tweedy a letter when AM came out and complimented him about how much "I must be high" reminded me of Harrison's "You". He never wrote me back
@@1adam12... There's at least two tracks on "Wilco (the album)" that is pure Beatles'ish: You Never Know and Sonny Feeling.
Have to go back to XTC's "Skylarking" album and the triplet "Ballet For A Rainy Day / 1000 Umbrellas / Season Cycle" for something just as Beatles'ish. Imagined dream collaboration #2, then, would be McCartney and Partridge. But it could well end up with Andy just being an arse, no matter how genious he is..

George Harrison recorded many songs for the "All Things Must Pass" album, that we're not on the final album, nor on the 50th aniversary Boxset
These songs are in the 50th anniversary box set, except 'Fear of Flying', only his voice and a guitar, really amazing!!!

This is really good stuff! Some of the comments have left me confused about what it is though. How much is George and how much has Walrusz contributed?
For the most part, everything other than George's lead vocal and acoustic guitar ("Dehra Dun" also originally had Ringo's drumming and Klaus Voormann's bass) is Walrusz. Additionally, "Fear of Flying" was originally just a one-minute excerpt from 1980 Olivia shared. The excerpt was looped and extended to song length by Paul at the Albums That Should Exist blog, then further extended and overdubbed by Walrusz.
