Everyone who has had a near death experience (NDE) talks of the music they hear in the higher realm, or heaven as some call it. There is music, and that is why certain chords, songs, melodies, etc. touch us so strongly and seem to stir our soul - because we heard this music before we came to earth for this incarnation. I am a long time Beatles fan but waxing so poetic about this collection of might-have-been songs is crazy. Interesting to see how they worked on song ideas but for the most part it’s just them fooling around and not too spectacular imho.
George was nearest to having ready songs but that's not surprising as his backlog of songs was one of the reasons from the breakup. On 9/8/1969 John proposed giving George an equal number of tracks but Paul rejected the idea, along with rejecting separate songwriting credits for himself and John. That, alone with Klein, was the fatal moment.
No need to look for noodling song ideas abandoned along the way, when the Fab Four continued making great music for years after the break-up! I've always thought one could make a great 14th album, with John Lennon's 1970 singles, and the best of Paul's McCartney's early tracks, the best of George's All Things Must Pass, and Ringo's singles. All of their early work still sounded like the Beatles, anyway, and many of the John, George and Ringo tracks featured one another. There's every chance some of these songs would have made it to the next Beatles album. They would have sounded different to the solo productions though. The finished product of a Beatles song is very distinctive with the 3 of them singing harmonies and playing their way and the final arrangement being a Beatle arrangement. They had a very individual sound. I believe they would have all sounded better as the Beatles.

The most beautifull are written by George Harrison, and made part of his famous solo triple album 'All things must pass'! The prove of his greatness like composer
They did record an album after Let It Be (Abbey Road) yet didn't use any of these songs for probably a good reason. It can only mean they were rejected or implied rejected by the others. I think a theoretical "had they stayed together" album would have been a mashup of their first solo records (but not these). Great mix of these songs though.
The Beatles left the world with the best Beatle album their last one Abbey Road their masterpiece! No other Beatle album real or imaginary could top Abbey Road. I want you, come together, the medley, all perfect songs to me, but it did have two flaws octopus garden and maxwell silver hammer, but I overlook those songs because the brilliance of the other songs make the album a masterpiece
Their styles as individuals had already jelled and was too difficult to get the others to do what one wanted. They had to go on as solo artists and its perfectly natural. People hold on to nostalgia and dont want the good old days to ever stop.
us original Beatlemaniacs know these recordings as Sweet Apple Tracks; I had a bootleg 2 record set I bought in some funky head shop on the Ocean City boardwalk 😎
What would have been great would have been,if they could have done their solo songs and then get back to doing a Beatle album as The Rolling Stones did. Put a solo lp out to get frustrations out, then come back with a Beatles lp. They were tired being Beatles. They needed time to get negative things out of the way. Unfortunately, the scum that took John's life ended that.

I have the rolling stone magazine "beatles buried treasure" it said that lot of their old master was founded in Amsterdam. Sadly nothong new story about that until now
nice idea to put this album together Pablo ;)
Thanks. I hope you enjoy it.
All those Years George worked Very hard to Keep Lennon & McCartney Songs at the top of the billboard song charts Paul & John Should Have Known Better and really put their Best into Georges Work !!!
Nice wordplay !!
Mad Man is a lost Lennon gem. Amazing drumming by Ringo also.
Yes, I would have liked to see it finished
Thank you very much! So much talent.
Glad you like it 🙏🏼
Pablo Gonzo,
Thanks for releasing this spectacular compilation. It has taken me four years to discover, since it's been released.
I'm wondering if the 60 hours of film reels that were given to Peter Jackson for editing, might include some footage of these numbers actually being played live, in the new Get Back documentary, due to release later this Summer or Autumn in 2021.
I hope you enjoy the compilation. Thanks for the comment.
They did.
And it's wonderful.
Pablo are those recordings from The Nagra Reels. That can be purchased. I can't get enough of the various takes and versions from Pepper, Let it Be and Revolver and White Album. I hope they do Rubber Soul. Thanks for responding to me Pablo..
Yes, from Nagra Reels tapes. Right.
The most beautifull are written by George Harrison, and made part of his famous solo triple album 'All things must pass'! The prove of his greatness like composer
I Agree!
Lovely
Istg i had a dream where i found a lost Beatles album and it had a similar cover and title as this
They did record an album after Let It Be (Abbey Road) yet didn't use any of these songs for probably a good reason. It can only mean they were rejected or implied rejected by the others. I think a theoretical "had they stayed together" album would have been a mashup of their first solo records (but not these). Great mix of these songs though.
Brilliant
Thanks very much
The Beatles left the world with the best Beatle album their last one Abbey Road their masterpiece! No other Beatle album real or imaginary could top Abbey Road. I want you, come together, the medley, all perfect songs to me, but it did have two flaws octopus garden and maxwell silver hammer, but I overlook those songs because the brilliance of the other songs make the album a masterpiece
Great treasure unearthed...beatles 4 ever
It all felt like a Grateful Dead jam session.
Unforgetable! ❤❤❤❤
I like the idea that after Let It Be they did another "rough" sounding album with studio chatter. This works incredibly well
They were going back to the roots. Perhaps, what you say would have happened.
It’s easy to write good songs with a drummer like this!
Ringo was amazing at this point in time
Yes, his best moment.
The best 20th century band. End of the story!
Agree.
This is so good!
Thank you, my friend.
Strangely relaxing.
Yes! Agree...
The Palace of the King of the Birds sounds so much like a Grateful Dead number. Cross-pollination.
Fire on the Mountain
sounds like the rutles , and there is no higher praise than that :)
You're welcome!
Did that "Watch out for the Badman" song ever make it to someone's album ? Thought it was groovy over the top 🎩?
Their styles as individuals had already jelled and was too difficult to get the others to do what one wanted. They had to go on as solo artists and its perfectly natural. People hold on to nostalgia and dont want the good old days to ever stop.
All things must pass (: best version
They clearly had another great record in them.
Yes, indeed!
I think the Beatles love of the Band can be found in the harmonies here.
Спасибо!
The palace sounds like the grateful dead
Very similar, yes
Good !😇
certainly shows something, keep it surreal 4 sure..how bout those hinterlands?..knock, knock...who b there?..answer the door if u wanna know more..;
Hello, send me some please
us original Beatlemaniacs know these recordings as Sweet Apple Tracks; I had a bootleg 2 record set I bought in some funky head shop on the Ocean City boardwalk 😎
Tutte le canzoni dei Beatles Solo, sono canzoni dei Beatles, la Storia prosegue anche nel 2024. Saluti da Milano 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🏴
Blissful 💕💕💕
Thank you
You´re welcome.
