Thanks! You are the king of advanced fpv tutorials! Seriously, nobody does them as well as you do! Listening to you describe everything makes it feel like you're being taught something by a friend. Looking forward to working on this now!
I used to learn matty flip from mattystunt with a camera angle of 40 degrees and I'm used to it until now, with such a high camera angle I'm very difficult to fly backwards, but I keep trying, thanks Stingy, my man 😄👌🍺
Very nice! I would like to see the trick called TREBUCHET, which is in Christian Mollica's book! Doesn't look all that difficult to do, but I've never seen anyone do it! Maybe Stingy can destroy his quad first before I attempt it! Just kidding!!
Wait wait wait, I tried to do the backward flying but my drone does not respond like yours does! How can you only use yaw to turn around? If I try to turn then I have to use roll also to have a flat turn. How the heck is yours setup??
When I’m talking to the camera it is the Sony A7IV with a sigma 20mm F1.4 lens. Flight footage is GoPro hero 11 mini. This was older but I think it was the dji action 2 on the drone.
How do the folks who make these videos comply with VLOS / VO requirements? Legit question, since I'd love to take videos like this but you are inevitably flying BVLOS at some point.
Awesome video man and i am sure lots of people will find this helpful including myself! Great job with explaining the trick and building up from easy to hard!Keep it up and i cant wait to see whats next!
thanks for the tutorial. always frustrated me that coming around a moving vehicle and flying backwards, in fpv, you always loose the ground or the vehicle you're tracking. a nice automated tilt down axis input would solve that.
Nice tutorial. Bot and I were just discussing the differences between Matty flip styles. I like to keep the object in cam view while performing the maneuver. This way you can go around a second time if you have the clearance and skill
Fantastic stuff! I really like your explanation of backward flight, it's something I've done from time to time but never really thought about what my quad was actually doing!
I know it’s not a advanced move but I need help doing a tight turn. I always seem to drift wide and sometimes run into something because I spin out and slide too far .
Try working with a little more roll & learning to use roll & yaw at the same time to increase your turning speed. Adjust throttle as needed to maintain height. Practice turning around an object one way & the switch it up once you’ve got that down
great teacher so i subscribed watched you many times. thank you for the hard work. cant wait for the next. as a beginner this is my next stunt or trick to learn.
The way you articulate important cues and little nuances that help us get better is like not many other pilots. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Excellent tutes brotha man! That figure 8 powerloop thingy tho 😲😲😲😲😲😲🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
my mannnnnn
I don't know why it never occurred to me to only touch the yaw
Thanks! You are the king of advanced fpv tutorials! Seriously, nobody does them as well as you do! Listening to you describe everything makes it feel like you're being taught something by a friend. Looking forward to working on this now!

You're not flying the Stingy v2! Did you want something lighter? Or something built for DJI?
Backwards flying for a backwards world. Or when Karen throws stuff.

Your video quality is really good on this channel. I’m curious what camera you’re using
When I’m talking to the camera it is the Sony A7IV with a sigma 20mm F1.4 lens. Flight footage is GoPro hero 11 mini. This was older but I think it was the dji action 2 on the drone.

Cricket is good at backwards flying but they're called 'Matty flips' not Cricket flips. Just sayin'.
Advanced series.

So this is what you were working on yesterday. Thank you for this. I have been trying to figure out how best to fly backwards and do a matti flip.
Fantastic stuff! I really like your explanation of backward flight, it's something I've done from time to time but never really thought about what my quad was actually doing!

You’re the man. No more stingy frame though. Is that why I’m finding it hard to find main plates?

Just keep practicing. It all comes down to time on the sticks. I've been doing this for nearly a decade now.
