    Excellent suction and completely portable🌼 Easy to dump debris though the latch catches dirt in it. Easy to clean durable filter. Tends to spill out the snout if not paying attention when carrying it. Needs a led light on it. Very happy with it.

    It's a great vacuum. If your cleaning something for more that 25 minutes than you using the wrong tool for the clean up.

    I have the old m18 tool box style shop vac and I like it a lot better than hauling out my rigid full size shop vac but I would much rather use this "1 handed vac" that is the key advantage here. I have done a lot of jobs in and out of 5, 6 or even 7 peoples apartments in one day and the biggest waste of time was cleaning up afterwards. Had a crappy corded shop vac. Was a pain to get in a the tight areas had to plug it in and lug it all around with my tools and material and it required 2 hands to use. The vac part was always getting stuck on carpet or behind objects. I just wanted to use one hand to move objects around as I was vacuuming with the other hand. Also cleaning the filter was a pain in the ass in old vac as well. I use the m18 cordless vac to blow the fliter clean outside and then get back in and finish up ASAP! I could have done at least 1 more job a day with this new m18 1 handed vac. Or do the same # at a more relaxed pace not busting my ass trying to get all these units done

    I bought this because my Dyson for my house didn't last long enough. And let me tell you, other than carpets, I'll pick up this vac over my dyson at any minute.

      But the dyson has better suction...like they say in the commercial lol

      Try a Sebo canister vac. Ours has been absolutely excellent. Miele makes something similar but they're garbage.

    I'd love to see a video comparing and contrasting this with the 0880-20 18-Volt Cordless Wet/Dry Vacuum. I could really use a cordless vac but I have no idea which would be better for us.

    Have it. Great power. Heavy. Trigger is sticking after one month.

    Great unit, but I've see a lot of reviews revealing poor reliability. Specifically, the unit shuts off randomly, or simply will not turn on at all.

    Which has better suction? One of the handheld Dysons, or 0882?
    I think the Dyson batteries can be swapped/upgraded. So I guess the other concern would be things like weight/size/accessories/noise/cost

    The older M18 vac is same CFM and also does wet pickup. Its bigger, but I guess that could be good or bad. Same price, too.

  • @foxwood67
    @foxwood67 5 лет назад +1

    Would purchase this but what the intentional lack of wet pick up prevents me from purchasing this. Milwaukee already knows if this was a wet/dry the sales for their 0880 would literally stop. They will release a model similar to this with wet option in a year or two. Ill sait until then

      You know the makita has an attachment for that, see if it fits this thing.

    Love the vacuum but having problems finding a replacement filter. Any leads out there?

    I hate when I watch these older review videos from you guys and then realize they are now charging more money for a tool you reviewed many years ago. Milwaukee sure knows how to capitalize…

    I have to say... This thing is loud! But it does its job well, all things considered.

      A quick tip that i saw on another channel. Put some very thin cleanex around the filter so you can clean it 10x faster. Sure, it decreases the performance a bit but hey, this thing is already half as powerful as a full sized chinesium dyson. What i found aswell is that the tubes regularly fall off the unit. Tried to fix it with a tape but nope. Powerwise, i was able to lift my exercise mat which is about half an inch thick 10 inches off the ground before it fell off.

    im thinking of getting one of these mostly for general home use but also for my shed, is it good for home cleaning like carpets and pet hair?

    • @julianweiser9985
      @julianweiser9985 4 года назад

      For carpets you need an agitating head like a rotating brushroll or something alike. On hard floors its ok. Maybe you can retrofit a dyson v8 head on that thing if you have the skill and a 3d printer?

    Do the accessories, including the wands, store on board?
    I love my dewalt 20v vac. Don't know what I did without it. My big vacuums only don't even come with me on a daily basis.

      Yes, I've ran the compact vacuum for over 45 min using a m18 High output 12.0

    I have this vacuum for 6 months not very impressed..
    The rubber flapper that keeps debris from falling back out gets dirty and stays open. And your debris falls back out..
    And I have not figured out how to get the screws off the front of it looks like they have security screws.👎

    Informative, but I can read the box and manufactures info just fine. I came to the Tube to see real footage of the vac in action. Sorry but this review is somewhat useless, provides nothing more than an opinion and information that can be easily found.

      @@anthonymartinez6334 What batteries are you using. I started seeing this with the XC 6.0 batteries, but I have not verified with other batteries. It may be a thermal protection device kicking in either with the batteries or the vacuum.
