i had a order pop up on doordash that was $2.25 and was around 9 miles i am like nope decline that was my worse one so far so crazy that the customer only tipped .25 cents

Probably no tip, if your base pay is 2 in your market it probably got declined before and it went up to 2.25
I got to a point where I was 0% AR on both DD and UE apps. lmaoooo

Uber's average offer in San Francisco is 2 dollars so this means your earning Prop22 payments only, Minimum Wage. Doordash is doing like 90 percent shop and pay at Safeway, Hot Food is non existent. Uber is asking me what I think about their company to improve the servive, they dont know the can of worms this is.

@@DashingTrader glad you could read all the typos. I told them i spend more time troubleshooting the app than delivering, and while that has bearing on my earnings, on theirs as well. Now it is changing my language to French , and I have basically done deliveries to pay for gas to do more deliveries.
Sadly they don't care. They say they don't make money but the quarterly reports have not suggested they are at a loss. Plus they use chatbots that require $0 overhead except for days entry for updates. They use open source which costs $0. They outsource customer care to other countries, which we all know how that works.
It sucks because it really could be so much better with an actual software engineer that can fix the coding ... Assuming Python, which 10 year olds can learn on RUclips in a weekend. Frustrating. They need to explain our pay structure to people, we rely on tips, like servers/bartenders, with the caveat this is a luxury because we go to them. We live in a classist system that base their thoughts and beliefs on their perceived socioeconomic class status.
I'm doing this while looking for a job after losing mine after surgery. I decided that applying for jobs and waiting wasn't going to pay the bills so i am driving.
Moral: they shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, and who looks worse someone who doesn't tip someone offering a service or most of us who would? I guess we are supposed to be happy we get $2 driving 10 miles. You know the whole "be grateful for what you have" rhetoric. They can GTFO here with that.
You know I love working from 5am-1pm sleep from 1-4pm then go to work again after the shittiest hottest time of the day is done by sleeping I go to work till 9pm
