One the best reasons to SOMETIMES take trash orders (within reasonable limits) is the mileage is always deductible anyway. So long as the distance isn't utter garbage, I'll take it for the deduction. So if it's like a $10 for 12 miles; I'll do it. But sometimes they're out here offering $10 for 20+ miles. But my advice is (if you're worried about AR)... if it's a BIT less than $1 a mile ... you can take it for the mileage deduction.
I haven't tried earn by time in a long time. The main thing I like about it is i can drag my feet and take my time a bit. If the food isn't ready when I get there I pull up a seat and relax. 😆
Used to care about AR but noticed DD will slap a diamond on 4 and 5 dollar offers plus you waiting totally not worth it my AR hovers between 6 and 19 percent now. Think about it if the algo knows you take 3 and 5 dollar orders why would they need to send you a 10 or 15 dollar order lmao clown shit right there!
You are semi-correct in saying the algorithm knows if you will take low ball offers but if you take a $4-$5 offer going 2 miles or less in the algorithm that would be a high pay offer. You will see more $10.00+ offers with decent mileage by going ahead and taking those type offers. By taking nothing BUT 10.00 offers your AR will drop so low the chance of seeing something like that is as you said 1 out of 8 offers. Then it becomes frustrating and 'not worth my time '. Slowly raising the AR while training and keeping the algorithm trained is key.
@Link380090 I got up to 75 for a solid week doing ebt and switching between modes saw same offers I saw when I saw silver and with no teir at all so. To me it's the same orders that's always been out there same customers same zone and no matter how they package it its the same orders.

I'd rather average 35 an hour than 15 doing every order that hits my screen waiting at fast food restaurants for 4 and 5 dollar orders dont take an order less that 7 or 8 bucks cause the time and gas dont make you shit to be honest
Im paying 3+ dollars a gallon starting my car 4x or more to make 5 bucks gtfo of here with that shit no fucking way my ignition is almost shot not gonna start my car 4x to make 5 bucks shits a waiste of time for real. Had someone order Pizza Hut for a place that was going down town and this lady put on her notes for me that had a completely other address on it. 13%. I still haven't tried earn by time. It used to be $13.50 per hour, now $14.75. Too many rough areas it could throw me in. We've had the tier program since August 2024, Racine, WI

Long distance orders in my area are kinda nice cuz most of the roads are like 45-55 in the areas i take them to. But i am still picky about the ones i take. Gotta be at least $9 for 10 miles. That covers gas and a little more.
I don't mind the hand it to me orders, if they are waiting on me. On the priority it's a lie. I'm on priority I get 2 and 3 dollar high mileage frequently.
Literally i had 3 orders all day. I'm the morning after doing the whole ring of troubleshooting efforts 3x I was told to wait 48-72 hours and reinstall updated app. WTF 😒 I tried again tonight got 2 orders. Thank goodness for IC and App Agent because I would have made squat today.

Door dash sets the offers not the customers..I think that's a major misconception that door dash happily excepts. It keeps blame off of them.. but the issues wit dd comes from them not caring who the app affects or how it affects them.. they hold the Restaurants responsible and the dasher...never taking responsibility for the lack of fluidity of the app and how often they make you troubleshoot. And force the customers to believe the dasher and restaurant are at fault...
My acceptance rate is currently at 75%. Keeps me platinum but I also decline the worst offers they might send me. $2.75 for 10+ miles, 🤣 not happening. But my general rule of thumb is that I’ll accept as long as the order is a minimum of $1 per mile, so like if it’s $4.50 for 4 miles, it’s a go. Is it a huge profit? No. But it’s short distance which means quick turn around to be available for the next offer quickly, plus the chance for an add on order, and it all adds up quickly. It doesn’t hurt that these also help maintain a decent AR so that rejecting real trash offers doesn’t ruin your AR. I rejected one yesterday that was $5.25 for 13 miles, I went from 76% AR to 75% AR but the majority of my offers were high paying offers based on being platinum.
You will always get bad orders because there will always be cherry pickers. However having said that RAISE your AR..I did and made $2200 last month working mostly dinner rush and working DD only. Before I raised AR I wasn't even making half that. And yes..I made Top Dasher too.
I had a 94% AR last month, now it's 83% because as I told DD I'm not risking my life or my car driving through crazy weather ir traffic hours and they have you going into malls with 15 min to get to the other side of Houston. They won't pay my speeding tickets. Nope
@@Go-Odo-publishingin my opinion only..94 AR is way too high..too much acceptance will have the opposite desirable effect. It's good to see you handled it correctly even though it cost you a few AR.. that's okay.. that maintains balance.. good job
Honestly send like a lot of people making money off RUclips and really dgaf how much these apps are making... Observation. My friend and I have been discussing this, among other side hustle, i do eeb/graphic/video Editing/ marketing, accounting, proofreading and editing books, content Creation and started some pod ( beginning stages) etc. I had surgery, lost my job because of surgery (toxic job) and car transmission out all in a matter of a week. Had to sell some of my crypto to pay bills while looking for jobs; then decided why not drive? Except it's consumed me and now I'm battling to find balance, physically, emotionally and financially so I have a cushion to make all that other stuff come to fruition. I have over 25 certifications in tech, but i refuse to be treated like garbage, underpaid, and have to put almost as much mileage on my car plus sit in traffic for 20+ hours a week. I just had a birthday Saturday and it's time to do what makes me happy. DD morning, IC afternoon evenings, and agent app when possible. All the creative stuff is not instant and can be drawn out for months. I do like not having a toxic insecure micromanager who is insecure because he thinks I'm smarter than him. I'm not smarter, I'm driven, and will learn what it takes to make it happen.
I really hope this clicks and helps someone. Don't try and raise your AR all at once and brutally take the trashiest of trashiest orders. Think of it like this..if you are constantly taking trash orders to raise your AR then actually you are working backwards. You are training the AR to send you trash while trying to raise your AR to get better offers. It makes no sense. Accept the lesser of the bad orders.. take enough to slowly raise your AR. In this way you are training the AR which orders are acceptable to you. Some days you will more trash still but you stick with it (there are too many factors that can temporarily change it) so just stick with it and I promise you it will get better. I don't think using a glitch is a good thing because although it's raising the rate it's not training the algorithm. When you had that one bad day Trader that's where it's important to sacrifice a few AR but hold that line Trader..it will get better.
Most of these DD drivers are people that have problems with entitlement. Either that or they just simply lack the drive that it takes to accomplish a long term goal, and they make excuses to cover up for their shortcomings!!
Hey Trader, my AR is at 94 percent. I did a little experiment last week where my AR dropped to 68 and then I just took almost every offer to get it up and see if the AR matters. I've been seeing a lot of offers with the AR being up in the 90's. I still see some trash offers but not as much.
How many miles are you putting on your vehicle with that 90% plus acceptance rate? That is the question.. that's why the Cherry pickers rule because they understand the concept of miles to money. Anyone with an acceptance rate of over 30% does not understand the damage that they're doing to their vehicle I've been doing this 5 years and many sets of tires and many auto repairs I know where my money goes
I raised my AR to kind of do an experiment to see what door dash does if my AR went up in the 90s. It's never been that high. I just had it at 100 percent just yesterday and now Its back down to 89. I've been working door dash and Uber eats since 2017. The tier program is nothing but a joke in my opinion. I declined like 6 in a row yesterday. Doordash is still trash. But then it's all about your market. Every market is different.
Platinum status will have the LOP again however don't expect to see a great deal of them because more people will be in the program. You will also need to provide proof of catering bags in the app
Little Bro in it a possibilty for you to schedule during peak time, with your AR, most of that trash you're seeing most likely because you're working at the wrong time........Locate yourself as close to the highest paying restaurant as possible.
I do too. The only thing is that I only do it for a side hustle it's not my main source of income. And where I live it could never because this town only has maybe 5000 people.

@@Link380090 always cherry pick i see 20 dollar grocery deliveries on ebo i wouldn't see on ebt and if I accept a 4.50 offer im not gonna be able to catch the 20 or 30 dollar grocery run. All im saying is app will trick and manipulate you to take low balls while you can make way more in less time by declining im at like 23 percent now and I dont look at total pay i look at time actively driving and at merchants.
I'd rather make 0 then get a 10 or 15 dollar offer going 5 or 6 miles than destroy my ignition doing high pay orders getting 4 bucks at taco bell where I wait 20 mins and am now banned from and make 4 bucks fat chance my friend.
Oh and by the way got a catering order with a 23 percent AR they are lying to you clowns I sent em pictures of my catering bag at 75 percent AR and the order came thru catering bag required when I was at 23 percent. The order just 100 bucks worth of food jersey mikes paid 15 bucks so idk why people tripping bout that either submit picture 3 or 4 times get approved then go back to cherry farm yall.
Had someone order Pizza Hut for a place that was going down town and this lady put on her notes for me that had a completely other address on it. (It went 7 miles out) I kinda felt a contract violation so I called DoorDash about it and telling them what’s happening. Least to say they didn’t get their pizza, it was some free food for me though 😋
13%. I still haven't tried earn by time. It used to be $13.50 per hour, now $14.75. Too many rough areas it could throw me in. We've had the tier program since August 2024, Racine, WI
Question for you. Can you still advance schedule if your AR is under 50% with the new tier system?
Pizza orders are my favorite they are accustomed to tipping and they have a delivery zone
My acceptance rate is at about 8% and I still made $126 yesterday. When I was a platinum Dasher only benefit I really had was dashing whenever I felt like it. The money was a lot lower tho because even with platinum status you will still get terrible orders.
I make between $600-$850 a week 5 day work weekThurs-Mon ( 30-40 active hours) constantly. If I worked 7 days a week I know I could make $1k plus a week, but no thanks, Suffolk, VA. Pay by hour $14.25 with bonus peak time.
I’ve been a top dasher for last 2 years…No more as they are now sending $2/$3 orders as if I was a non top dasher..I am now at 60% AR and getting much better offers
I felt what u said at the end bro my girl been on my tail about getting a real job cuz door dash been so trash 😂
I’m actively applying everyday so I can start a job in July. Delivery is perfect for ADDED income: funneling all the proceeds into your investment account or creating more streams of income. 🤷🏾♀️
What happen to Spark?
Hacked by shifty people I hear
Mornings are better than nights for me. I made a quick $40 this morning... Then crickets.
Same here.
I've thought about doing morning runs instead of evening runs especially as the summer temps come in.
It always starts off hot and then completely stops
Literally i had 3 orders all day. I'm the morning after doing the whole ring of troubleshooting efforts 3x I was told to wait 48-72 hours and reinstall updated app. WTF 😒
I tried again tonight got 2 orders. Thank goodness for IC and App Agent because I would have made squat today.
@@Isaac-ev3nq $60 this morning home by 10. Caught up on emails etc. Going out later. This is my flow now, but will have to adapt. Hell i might get deactivated after my comment on LinkedIn to DD post of voted best with place in 2023 (with screenshot) 🤷♀️
2.00 for 67 miles gas is 4.95 a gallon and your car a caprice classic
Box or bubble 🤔😂💕
Exactly
I had a 94% AR last month, now it's 83% because as I told DD I'm not risking my life or my car driving through crazy weather ir traffic hours and they have you going into malls with 15 min to get to the other side of Houston. They won't pay my speeding tickets. Nope
@@Go-Odo-publishingin my opinion only..94 AR is way too high..too much acceptance will have the opposite desirable effect. It's good to see you handled it correctly even though it cost you a few AR.. that's okay.. that maintains balance.. good job
Yea I'm learning. 3 months under my belt
AR is 78. I am just trying to make it to the platinum level for dash now. I don't take 3 and under tho.
My AR is 48% on DD.
Bro... I admit, I didn't know if I was gonna like your vid when i started... I was wrong. Very good. Very informative vid.
I'm trying to get on LOP for 2 years. I'm still not offered.....any idea, dashtrader?
Platinum status will have the LOP again however don't expect to see a great deal of them because more people will be in the program. You will also need to provide proof of catering bags in the app
I'm a platinum dasher and I was offered LOP automatically ...I just had to upload the catering bag
The pizza cash orders are good. Average $10 + cash tip per order
I'm in Houston, no cash orders. Nope
Our 👍👎 #'s have been fluctuating, its actually scary, what if a # that drops us out of the "DASH NOW"?
Little Bro in it a possibilty for you to schedule during peak time, with your AR, most of that trash you're seeing most likely because you're working at the wrong time........Locate yourself as close to the highest paying restaurant as possible.
WHO THE FUCK DRIVES 20 MINUTES FOR 2 DOLLARS???!?!! That’s ridiculous
And that’s 8 miles one way!
Am I the only one who still loves doing DD?
I do too. The only thing is that I only do it for a side hustle it's not my main source of income. And where I live it could never because this town only has maybe 5000 people.
I do really good with DD in my area
I like making money so I like DOORDASH 💯 AINT NO DIFFERENCE FROM ANY OTHER JOBS
I make between $600-$850 a week 5 day work weekThurs-Mon ( 30-40 active hours) constantly. If I worked 7 days a week I know I could make $1k plus a week, but no thanks, Suffolk, VA. Pay by hour $14.25 with bonus peak time.
Love it. Favorite job ever in six decades.
they need to make all the orders like 10 dollars.. im sure they could afford it they got billions from us
Im at 0%.... seriously....couple months back dd would not let me get lower than 3%😂😂😂😂
I worked hard to raise my acceptance rate and it made no difference whatsoever still bombarded with trash offers regularly
dude, some ppl are on a low budget can only afford just paying for a pizza,
make a sandwhich
Bruh, you've got me hurtin over here. My guy said "No sir, no."
My AR is 5% in doordash, 2% in Uber eats.
So do you make money when u drive?
@@danielwerra7093 yea, always end the day at an average over $2.50/mile including my commute miles.
yea, pretty much always at an average over $2.50/mile including my commute miles at the beginning and end of day.
@@danielwerra7093 People like that log in during busy shifts like dinner, decline everything until they get a big order, maybe get 2-3 orders and then clock out til the next busy period.
They're basically hoping that the platinum dashers are too wrapped up with other orders that a big order slips past for them.
Dont cancel the orders if u dont want it just let the time go out if u decline it just makes your decline rate go up loved the video tho
Mine is 80percent and still get shit orders you won't get the15 dollars trips for 7miles in less your 90 percent at least you have to be there drummer boy or you will not succeed out here they got it all fuck up it's hard
Sir your area still not in a new doordash program.
1% on doordash we are not taking them trash orders bro these people really think $2 is going to help you out lol
All my ratings are kinda low except ‘on time’ and customer ratings. I’ve been having to schedule a week out which I’m finally getting used to after 7 years. :)
Thanks for sharing!
AR DD down to 93% as I accidentally closed my dash and EBO sucked and UE was even worse. I gave up and came home.
I ain't taking a 6.2 miles driving for a $2
Your numbers are almost identical to mine, we basically run our shit the same way lol
I know some of these fake … people on youtube ain’t really dashin

15 bucks to go 20.09 miles is freakin crazy!!!
I just reached 71 ar I'm in Chicago an I dash Rockford area suburbs an all an a 4.7 rating 95 completion rate
The second time you decline on earn by time they will end your dash. And then you have to do earn by order.
Why do they request Pic of pizza bag every single time? You would think once a month would be enough
DoorDash must’ve hit your inbox with the bag if you talkin like this 😂
How can I use glitch
I'm 100 percent.
My at 75% and still get some hard thrash… 😂
By what I red in your title I thought you where taking all trash orders. Or did I read that wrong. Just wondering.
I have 98 acceptance but I'm trying to learn to decline
You need a better zone. But never take the bullstuff..
If you were not cool with the ride what would you possibly do
My AR is 6% on DD and UE. I have another job I just do this part time so I’m not the garbage man.
To get your AR up quickest, if your area has the pay by time order and it is a decent amount (at least $15.50/$16.00) then do only PBT. And a key with that just like with PBO is communication.
I think my AR was 93% and my completion rate was like 98% when they deactivated me on the 17th of June.
71% AR
Nice shirt Just Saiyan :)
87% but I ain’t did DoorDash in 2-3 years 😂😂
Do most of you guys not take orders that are at least 1$ per mile? Only time ill reject a 1$ per mile order is if its less than 4$, if you take orders that are at least 1$ per mile you will make money consistently
25% acceptance rate and dropping
