It's a hit or miss career. It held me up for 2-3 years as a side hustle averaging $10,000 a year but as a main career I wouldn't rely on it.

this is all situational. your cars fuel usage is the major thing to consider , if you doing deliveries you need to be getting no less then 40 mpg , also what some might think is an abundance of restaurants to others may not be an abundance . tires last an average of 50,000 miles so thats nothing to consider more then every two years. theres no reason to accept less then 90% of the offers, your either looking to obtain the most orders the fastest or your not trying to make the most money. the better your rates the more consistent and healthy the offers are, times of day and location are crucial , if all these things are takin into consideration and executed accordingly , it can be highly lucrative . 300-500 in one days pay regardless of the hours is great money to make in the comfort of your own car. but i do see exactly how this could be not worth it for many people due to some of these factors

That’s the reason why we can’t get any orders in our tips have gone down the drain and that’s the reason why we keep getting crap orders to begin with because they take it. The people coming over in this country. They’re not supposed to be here. They’re illegals now I’m all for it if you want to do it the right way 10% of them do 90% of them won’t they want to make this easy money and then go back to Venezuela or wherever they’re back from and live like kings and that’s not fair to the American people. This is the reason why this gentleman in this video is quitting because there’s not enough orders. There’s too many drivers doing this and most of them are immigrant, illegals bottom line i’ve seen it multiple times when I’m out doing DoorDash or Uber eats they come in they shove their phone into the peoples face because I don’t know how to pronounce the name and they dress like complete slobs so until they are gone and it’s not just with DoorDash or Uber eats or rideshare, etc. it’s with our W-2 platforms to you. Can’t even find a normal job anymore. All these W-2 jobs wanna pay you 14 or $17 an hour to work out in 100° heat outside it’s horrible and the only reason why they do that because these illegals don’t pay taxes it’s very sad

He told me that if he doesn’t Work soon that he’s going to end up getting fired or laid off by the company owner not looking good and yes, I understand that there’s indeed and you can go on here and fill out resumes applications, etc. I have interviews with these people and then you go to tell them what you want to be paid because they asked you and they said no we can’t do that. We have to pay you less but want you to work more and do more responsibilities But what the problem is is that a lot of employers are doing a freeze hire sad to say buddy it really is but people are going broke. It’s not just you that’s in rough times it’s myself and others.
