Absolutely not, and I don't know anyone else who will. Growing up, my mom insisted on having a third row solely for the off chance we'd have to bring a friend home from school, to the movies or something. We never subjected adults to the third row of a 2008 Honda Pilot . I doubt the 3rd row of her new GX460 will ever even see daylight lol.
That's exactly the word I used when describing how it drives"EASY" We've had ours for 2 weeks. We drove it to Atlanta from va on the second day we purchased it. What an easy, smooth, safety loaded vehicle. Not to mention the comfort of it. We love our palisade.
Hyundai is really stepping it up, I just bought my 2023 Elantra Limited and it’s awesome. I love the huge displays, wireless charger, beautifully designed interior, and wide array of driver assists.
@@PearlLover me too. I’m suppose to go see this new palisade calligraphy because I have a 2021 Sorento but just need and want something bigger so want this or the telluride and I like the telluride look better as well as the new gauge cluster and infotainment screen but the palisade just has nicer interior and amenities from what I have seen. Either way both are great looking at a great price.
Great job Mike Danger! Being 6'4 myself, I love getting the perspective from him, knowing that his review would be a little more accurate for someone my size!
2:55 There really should be an option to get the Limited & Calligraphy trims with a bench seat in the second row because some people prefer seating capacity over Captain's chairs. If they can still give you a bench with ventilated second row seats on the less expensive SEL Premium trim, I don't see why they can't do that for the Limiged & Calligraphy trim. It makes the SEL Premium trim a better value trim even though it's missing other features from the Limited & Calligraphy trims
I have the 21 Pali Hyper White SE. awesome vehicle. I’m at 23k miles without zero issues. Best vehicle I’ve owned. Always get compliments, especially when folks ride in it. I like the new grill. However, my grill still makes a statement and has presence on the road. This is a nice refresh. Will hold on to my Pali until the next generation full redesign.
I did! It actually wasn’t that bad. There’s even a feature that make the seat start on its own if it feels like you’re not focused on the road… kinda like a small “Hey wake up!” 🤣 It did this to me when I was fiddling with equipment in the second row.
Great review. Really blurring the lines between luxury and mass market. One heck of a bargain for the money. One question. What the heck is navigation based cruise control?
Smart cruise control reacts to the cars around you slowing down, speeding up, changing lanes. With NBCC the car slows down for navigational features like tight turns or reduced speed limits, even if there are no cars around for the system to react to.
E Brown does a great job of explaining. Yes, when there is a turn in the road or some kind of road features that would cause a driver to slow down the system can recognize it and make that adjustment for you. Thanks for the great question.
Great review - maybe I missed it, but can you tell me what color this model is? Looks like the grey but it has some blue undertones so I can’t tell for sure. Thanks!
North Americans are so spoilt for choice with good quality cars coming at such cheap prices. Here in Singapore, the palisade costs $300,000 (US $220,000)!!A Honda fit costs 135,000 (US $100,000)!! It's insane how expensive cars are over here. And the worst part is you can own a car for only 10 years, after which you have to renew something called COE for a maximum of 5 or 10 years. Then it must be scrapped.
Hi.Take a look at some of the problems with the car before you decide to buy Hyundai Palisade (Lemon Car). Before 40k km (2 years car) the main radio display was shutting off and later the driver seat adjustment buttons stopped working. After 50k km the trims on the doors start getting loose and lost complete after dealer service inspected. Next the rear backup sensors stop working. The worst thing is that even Hyundai Canada they don't care about customers and whatever they call authorized service that can do what they want so it's been 7 months and some of the problems didn't get fixed others they got even broken more by technician. There is zero communication with the service (no phone call that parts arrive or your car is fixed or how long it will take to repair).
I can honestly say as a 29 year old adult, I will never subject myself to ride in the third row of a crossover. If it comes to that, I always drive separately.
Cox Automotive owns KBB and AutoTrader. They control the used car market and new car market. You’re dreaming if you think you will be getting a fair deal these days.
Now that inventory is increasing for the first time in almost two years those prices might have a chance to normalize again. Keep your eyes on it. We sure are!
Never thought i'd own a Hyundai.... Toyota fan. Changing from Sienna to an SUV and Highlander Just didn't cut it, Pilot was better... But a week into the new palisade, that we decided on, not bad. SEL base AT msrp drk ble with gray int..nice. Couldnt justify any higher trim... Don't care for any of that extra stuff beyond s e l.. And if This still had that huge silver grill pepper would not have gone with it. Nice change with blacking out that thing...Calligraphys grill...ah no
If only they had put a more potent engine in that thing, say a detuned version of the stinger motor, I would have bought one last year. It's the only thing that makes this car unappealing for road trips.
Quite simply THE best in class. No future large suv from competitors can even come close to this Man Hyundai Kia are absolutely killing it! All your pathetic excuses of Hyundai Kia are so year one.
Had one for 2.5 years. Got rid of it recently. Looks great new and frankly interior looks better than anything in class. However had issues with transmission, wind noise, usbs not working, random rough starts, trim rattles. It looks great but it is built cheaply once you really start to spend some time with it.
I’m sure that it’s great vehicle, but sorry, can’t get passed the grill. Too big and much too busy. But then I don’t care for the Lexus either. Engineering excellence, but that grill! Leave it on the patio please.

Yes, as long as I fitted comfortably I would.

Exactly.
Please check the weather next time before you make your video shoot.
I gotta say, fitting 6'4" Mike Danger on the third row is nothing short of amazing. My 5'9" frame (on a tall day) should be fine, lol

Just my personal opinion, but I love everything about the Palisade, except the front end. I just cant find anything appealing about it.
That's my favorite part! 😊
Good vehicle. Bad dealership practices. Expect at least 7k+ upcharge because of "market adjustment"
I love the design but I wish they would make the exhaust pipes even
It is the twin of the Kia Telluride.
I like the looks of this better, though.
I would choose this over the telluride any day
Very well done.

Great SUV, especially for the price. Not a deal breaker, but I just wish they added wireless CarPlay like Toyota did for the Highlander refresh.
