- I feel content with this time for now. Still some noticeable time saves but nothing too painful. Taking a much deserved break from this category. My next goal right now is to bring my All Dungeons time down; preferably somewhere in the sub-2:06 range.
Some notes about the run to clear up any potential questions:
- I run this game on the physical Switch version, which is ironically slower than digital Wii U version in full game categories due to load times. However, there's no significant time difference in this particular category. [EDIT: As of version 1.6, digital Switch is now the fastest version.]
- Any form of stat preparation before the run and between trials is allowed. In this case I use 28+2 hearts, two temporary stamina wheels, and a 30-minute triple attack boost.
- If it looks like I missed an easy shot or made a weird aiming decision, it's because my right stick tends to drift down on its own, disrupting the gyro I usually rely on (I still need to clean its insides...).

Not as much as me when I was about to beat the hinox I had one hit left and then he killed me and I was so close
It took me four days to get to the final stage of the beginning trial and once I got there I died so I took a break
Everything went PERFECT untill i got stuck on a FUCKING LOG when i was fightibg the hinox. He probably ha around 200 health left

I broke the switch cause I was getting tired of dying, I'm not patient at all🙃

Just beat the final trials today. One of the most stressful gaming experiences ever. This man made it look like he decided to take out his switch on a Tuesday night and play for a couple of minutes.
Yeah the final trials were so hard
This is so, so impressive. I have just completed the Trials this evening after two days of agonising trial and error! I made a conscious effort not to read about what it included, so went into it completely blind, so it was very satisfyingly. It was NOTHING like this, obviously, and involved a lot of strategic planning, cooking wood and catching fairies, 😂.but for my rookie level, I’m very proud of myself. To unwind, I thought it would be entertaining to see it done by a pro, and this speed run certainly didn’t disappoint! Man got skills! 👏 👏 👏

Hilariously enough I had the most trouble with the beginner trials. Middle trials were easy-peasy, final trials I was used to the difficulty of the enemies and you get probably the best gear to get rid of 'em.

Note: Due to recently discovered strats that allow us to navigate Trial of the Sword out of bounds, this is now classified as the record for "No Out of Bounds" (a.k.a. "Inbounds").

Awesome! I'll Never be a speed-runner (takes too much skill) but your run enabled me to SURVIVE the Final Trials. Thank you. :) For comparison, it took me 26 minutes to get to the final safe floor (but I was collecting everything to make up for lack of skill)... :( I think I managed the Beginning and Middle in under 30 each, if only barely. Great run.

Your video really helped me to beat the trials. Final trials was still hard. Had to cook a lot to stay alive.
I just have nothing but respect for these people. Its amazing to see someone absolutely destroy your favourite game with the most difficult but spectacular tactics and moves!

@@dogando7831 Motion aiming is rather good in this game & having the Joycon splitted gives you more range of movement to aim.
Etrigan Slaves imagining it, yeah, you just point with your righh joycon to the direction you want, but it just not really what people usually see on a speed run or a professional player like this
try playing the bow horseback game eveyrtime u play a couple times. make sure u get every target every run. eventually you get really good.

@Stuart Dooley I was so pissed when I did it cuz I got killed the last level by the lynel, I learned that you have to collect fairies and let them heal you instead of using them because they kinda give you "another chance"
@Stuart Dooley I wish I could have known you could just freeze the horses and kill all the bokos. I probably died because I got scared of all of them being together. My controller shifts too so shooting arrows is SO ANNOYING because it keeps moving. And I also LOOOVE this game so much. BOTW is the first Zelda I have completed and it made me fall in love with the other Zelda games too!!

Impressive Combat Skills. Most people don’t like the trial of the sword because it might be difficult and stressful. But in My opinion I think the trial of the sword is really fun.
Do you have enough Ancient Arrows to miss one or two or a couple of them or does every one need to be a hit to have enough for the final Lynel?
Only need one hit,and with any bow
With this route, all 9 Ancient Arrows have to hit their targets. That being said, I used to use a slower safety strat that let me save a backup arrow: If you slash the White Moblin at the 30:10 with the Thunderblade, you can steal his Dragonbone Moblin Club and effortlessly spin-attack him to death. The backup arrow is primarily saved for the Guardian Turret at 35:22, which is easily the hardest Ancient Arrow snipe; if you miss it, it's a 30+ second time loss (climb the tower and spin-attack the Turret with the Stone Smasher; save the last remaining Ancient Arrow for the White Lynel). By the time of this run, I had more than enough practice to get all shots consistently, so I stopped using the safety strat.
This actually took me 10 hours now. Oh I thought he only doing beginner trail.

Today I beated the middle trials in mastermode in one day. Begining trails took me longer actually like 1 week . Cuz that stupid lezalfo kept seeing me. On floor 10

hey man, after making the challenge and the power of the sword goes to 60, it takes longer to break, I noticed that its duration is much longer than when it was 30
How come when I use the ancient arrows they don't take out the enemy in one hit, but when you do it they die in one hit????
You might've figured it out yourself by now, but you need to hit them exactly in the eye for them to die in one hit. If you hit them anywhere else they just take damage but don't die right away.

Have you upgraded your bomb at the tech lab? It increases dmg so that’s probably why
I died on the last floor because i used all my ancient arrows on the second last floor. I thought it was the last part. 😔

Ancient arrow just deletes non boss monsters. They just vanish.

He's using motion controls with gyro aiming, this is between a mouse and a thumbstick... not better than a mouse but a lot more precise than using a thumbstick only.

@@liminal6669 In general Split Joycon is better for aiming taught, since 1 hand moves more freely when moving the camera in both axis. A dual handed controller has more limitations when moving the camera horizontally.
