The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U video game consoles. How do you get the thunder helm from the chief?

I have to say: this was one of the most honest ways I've seen to get a lot of arrows. No glitch, just a skillful grind and locations for those less skilled. Respect.

I've just recently started playing this, and I have to admit, even tough it's more dangerous, killing lynels is the best way for me, keeps farming fun instead of a chore.

Don’t forget about the death mountain village gerudo. she takes 20 of a specific gem, and buys it from you for a much better price than normal. but, she only take one kind of gem per day, and only 20 of that gem.

For real. Only 10. I always visit her at gerudo if i want to sell gems. More cheaper.
You mean Ramella in Goron City? She'll buy 10 of some gem for a better price, and keep buying that gem in bulks of 10 until you can't or until you say no. After that, she'll change the gem she wants. Then the process can be repeated and repeated and so on. She isn't limited to one gem per day.

Just a tip... you don't have to set another campfire to reset the bomb arrows. You have to walk far enough away in order to not see the bokoblin, and then walk back and get your arrows. :)

4:40 I beat that lynel with 5 hearts, 1 stamina vessel, a royal halbird, a guardian sword, and a silver longsword. Along with the champions tunic, soldier's boots, and the hyrule cloak, I got incredibly good at dodging, it took me roughly 200-150 trys
I had 4 hearts and wasn't hard to do lol
Do it in master mode
I had a lot of experience from my first Nintendo Account 's playthrough (455+ hours so far as of Friday, May 6th 2022), so beating the Polymus Mountain lynel was easy. I had no armor but first tier upgrades Stealth Mask and Stealth Tights, along with the Zora Armor. I had the Silver Longsword, a Guardian Sword and spear, a Soldier's Sword, 3 fairies, a Soldier's Shield and a wooden shield. I had 3 traveler's bows and a few arrows, just enough to make it through the fight as far as weapons. I remember that I got hit twice, which is rare especially considering how many lynel parts I have in my main save file. (I keep their horns and hooves as trophies!)
Also I had 3 hearts and 2 wheels of stamina
I have never dared taking on a lynel. Im really bad at the fighting things. Ive completed nearly everything but didnt dare to enter the castle yet. I just dont get the timing right with watching the attacks of the opponent etc. i used to be the kid bashing buttons at tekken. And it shows.

For the bomb arrows, once they stop landing on the ground, you just have to save and reload and it will allow them to continue to fire the bomb arrows during the same storm instead of waiting for another rainstorm

For anyone who does the trial of the sword here’s a tip. If for every room you go into you use your bombs to take down and get all of the wood from the trees then when you get to the level with the cooking pot you cook one peice of wood at a time and it makes food that will give you only either a quarter of a Hart or half a heart. It might seem like it isn’t worth it but in the end you will have so much wood and that could really save you if you get into trouble and you are low on health.

At Polymus mountain for the Zora quest, I tried to kill the Lynel twice and failed miserably, so I just snuck around him and got arrows. The total amount of shock arrows that I got were 36!

If you go to the cooking pot in the Kara Kara bazaar by Gerudo Town, you can shoot the edge of the pot with a multiple shot bow and collect the arrows that bound from it. If you have a 5x bow you’ll get 5 arrows every time you shoot, and if you use a 3x you’ll get 3 arrows every time you shoot

Yo Austin ( or a comment reader), i just found another way to farm arrows without glitch mode, but it does require you to spend rupees. What you do: 1. You enter the trials of the sword, 2. You wait till the time goes past midnight, 3. You leave the trials of the sword by teleporting to any fast travel point, 4. All the arrows in the shop are restocked, so go ahead and buy all shops empty, 5. Repeat and enjoy! *How this works: The game count how many arrows you have every day at midnight, and if you have below 'X' amount, all shop restock with arrows*. Have a great day!*

Brian Van der Veen I don't know if the weapon duplication has been patched. I've not seen any indication of it being so on message boards, so if you're not worried about modifiers there's always that method.

*Bomb arrows* Next to the Zuna Kai Shrine, there's a bokoblin camp. If you manage to kill the boko's on the alter they drop 2x 10 bomb arrow sets. There are 2 boko's that shoot them so be careful. If the blood moon comes while you're doing the rain method, head back to that camp and u collect another set. Hope this helps.

Instead of traveling to the shrine and gliding to the island, you can simply save and reload the game. Saving doesn't store that the treasure chest has been pulled out.
This works for version 1.5.0 on the Wii U CD version, I'm not sure about the switch/digital download.

my way of farming bomb arrow and rupees is by killing the lynel on the plateau. If you do the respawn glitch, the lynel also respawns. and when you killed the lynel, sleep in the old mans hut, and boom. The lynel is back.

The second method with bomb arrows, you don't need to rest. Just teleport to the medallion and that resets the arrow drops and it will still be on whatever weather it was. Of course, over time the rain will stop but then you can rest until it rains again.

In my opinion the bomb arrows way is the best way it's so easy, and if the arrows dont show up anymore all you have to do is walk away for a minute and come back, then the arrows will keep coming. It's also very good for normal arrows because theres also a bokogoblin with regular arrows

A better way to farm regular arrows is going to Korok Forest to one of the torches with a Savage Lynel Bow(preferably 5-shot but still works 3 shot). You walk up to the torch and and shoot at the torch with Savage Lynel Bow so that where the bow shows it's aiming is at the torch, but the bow is pointing up. The arrows will get stuck in the torch and you can collect the 3/5 arrows. With a 5 shot bow it takes about 5 or 6 minutes to get to 999 arrows(not including bow breaking) and about 7 or 8 minutes to get max arrows with a 3 shot bow.

You just have to walk right up to one of the torches in Korok Forest, so that you're body is touching it, or really close. Then, point your bow at the flaming part of the torch. Because you are close, you're bow will still be aimed at the torch, but it will look like your bow is pointing upwards. Just shoot and then all the arrows will get stuck on the torch, letting you collect them. If it is still not clear I can try to take a video.

The best way for normal arrows is to go to get a mutishot bow preferably 5 or 3 shot go to a torch in the lost woods walk close enough for your arrows to light on fire then shoot down onto the wood in the torch then you can pick up all 5/3/2 arrows while only using 1 so you get infinite and you can just aim turn off motion controls then spam zr and a
5:25 cryo works too. U dont need that metal thing to get the chests. I got it with the ice blocks.
The Bokoblin Bomb arrow mixed with just selling ore and buying all the arrows from Beedle and towns seems to be an easy way to keep stocked without feeling like you're breaking the game.
HEY GUYS, THERES AN ALTERNATIVE THAT MAY BE EASIER FOR BOMB ARROWS (not saying that Austin's is bad, is just I found this way preferable for me)
In your master mode file, perform the respawn glitch (Enter ToS, teleport to unfinished beast, and exit) and teleport to the Owa Daim shrine on the great plateau. The black Lynel has crushers that go up to 106 attack and 5x shot Bows. You can kill him for 30 bomb arrows, since he's the only one that has bomb arrows with him. A bonus benefit is that he always respawns no matter what method you use, including setting a fire and sitting til morning. I maxed out bomb arrows after 10 minutes using this method.

The non glitch way to get 999 elemental arrows is to farm the Lynels. Most give shock arrows, but a couple give fire or ice arrows.

I swear Zelda Breath of the Wild probably pisses people off so much with the amount of hearts and stamina you can have. lol. I know I get pissed every time I see my hearts. You can either have full stamina wheels, OR 2 full heart rows, not both. lol. I hate it when I look at my health and there are like 2 or 3 hearts missing, even though I have all spirt orbs lol.

Usually, I'd feel cheap doing this. But with this game, I don't. Getting arrows in this game is impossible, and forces me to be terrified every time I pull out a bow that I'll miss with my precious ammunition.

Why is the first arrow method not considered a glitch? I mean, you shouldn't be able to get another ten arrows from a treasure chest that you already opened.
The chest respawns as it is part of Eventide's Quest. The chests on the island act different.

Indeed! Look at the Sheikah Pedestal at 1:48. It's orange, which means it's actually in glitch mode.
Barry Kort the chests on eventide acted this way since launch, it's not related glitch mode.
For the first one it's faster if you save and load rather than using the travel Medallion.
zabdy gonzalez I average 24 seconds. Waaaay faster than 36 seconds.

@@NeekNeek Right after you magnesis the chest out of the water and collect the arrows, save, load, repeat. If done well, it should take about 24 seconds per chest.

You can easily fill ur reg arrows in less than sixty minutes if you dupe a bunch of five shot bows and shoot the sign outside of links house, replacing your five shot each time one breaks

56 minutes for me.
it took about 23 minutes for two different core spawns. place the travel medalion at the ridge to the North-by-North West, and use Cryonis to flip it.

Cool video btw, but some bad information here:
For the bomb arrows, you shouldn't rest by fire to get bomb arrows to drop again. That wastes a lot of time to wait for the next rain. Instead, place the travel medallion where you're farming it and use its fast travel instead. You not only spawn right where you need to be, but also can continue to use the current rain until it stops. When the rain does stop, you don't need that stupid rock to rest for the next rain.
For ancient arrows at the castle, just load the save file after opening the chest and the lynel will spawn again. Game game forces an auto save after you open a chest anyway. Way faster than fast traveling twice. Same applies to all other chests including Hylian Shield.
I still can't believe you're not telling your viewers to keep 999 screws/springs/gears for farming ancient parts. The game automatically prioritize on picking up the item that's not full in your inventory, which means you only pick up cores if you have 999 of everything else. I don't recommend farming cores because it take too long to get cores to spawn if you're unlucky. With that amount of time you could have got 999 shafts already, which makes shaft a more efficient solution than cores (unless you're lucky and get cores first that is)
