yeah theres definately something to be said for the simplicity of n64 zelda games. I loved botw personally, revolutionary for the time imo, but i couldnt even get myself to finish totk. i think devs these days have lost track that a game doesnt have to be 200 hours long to be good… id rather they strived to make a great 30-50 hour game like the old days

Another problem is that when you resort to copying content that is more than just the basic UI/appearance, and copy the entire game world, it feels like a huge rip off when the game is being sold for more than full price. That was my biggest issue with ToTK really.
