I decided to shoot the one in Faron Woods for the heck of it. Something fell, so I collected it. An hour or so later I was at the Spring of Courage and was fortunate enough to have that scale.
Kevin happened to me, too haha. When I stepped on the Lake Hylia bridge for the first time, Farosh came flying by and I got close enough fortunately to shoot him with my low tier bow. a day later I found myself at the spring of courage (:

An easier Dinraal spawning site is the Tagantha Great Bridge at 21:00. There's a fire at the stables so easier to do for beginners than the area in the video.
Farosh is way easier to farm if you go to Riola Spring, stay on top and rest until night, he spawns right when you "wake up" from that pond/lake. Try it out.
I've found a slightly easier way to farm Farosh's item drops. If you set up a campfire right next to Riola Spring and wait til either morning or night, Farosh spawns almost immediately out of the water right next to you. The items drop pretty close to the campfire too so there's not a lot of running around for Farosh. With the other two, Dinraal and Naydra won't spawn if you have the camera focused on their spawn points, so look away for a moment and then look back and they should appear. Once all their respective quests are done, you can encounter them once a day at any point as long as you 'rest' at a campfire.
@Charr Churl they have electricity balls constantly growing out their scales so they can't control it As they're bio says, they have no ill will to humans so I think think farosh means it :p
I've seen from another money farming guide that Farosh spawns in the little body of water at the top of Faron Woods if you set up camp there and sit until morning. So you can literally get one item every 20-ish seconds. I have done this and got dozens of Horns because they sell for 300 ruppees each. So you could farm yourself about 50.000 ruppees in an hour. But I suppose it's also good to farm all the other parts as well because you don't have to wait for the dragon to get close to you because it already spawns right in front of you.
You have to set up camp in the exactly right spot so the horns form 3 different piles and very easy to collect. Watch in RR's farming video where to setup fire.
Matt Christopher because you're 'sitting' at the fire too quickly.... You have to wait until the drop touches the ground before resting, otherwise itll fall into a glitched unobtainable state and you wont be able to collect it.
Actually, the dragons (other than Naydra) spawned consistently every morning for me before I ever found their springs. Can confirm you don't need to visit the springs for consistent spawn. :)
Then you weren't doing it right. Either you weren't making it morning or you were standing in the wrong area. I'd suggest thoroughly testing before accusing people of false information. Lol
Being close has nothing to do with it spawning though. I never even had to wait by the spawn. I was able to just wait by one of the paths it takes and it still spawned from it's spawn point and flew all the way down the path to where I was waiting for it. All the dragons have a certain paths they take, and if you wait anywhere by them, it will fly by. Are you playing on the Wii U or the Switch, 'cause that is some strange crap that's happening to you with dragons spawning. I've never heard of anyone having that weird of a problem with them.

Later in the game, when you have fully upgraded the Rito-, Goron-, and Rubber armour sets, use them to protect you from the dragon's matching element. This have saved me a lot when I get too close. ☺
Instead of using rubber gear you can also use the thunder helm from doing the quest for it. Also you only need to upgrade the Rito, Goron, and Rubber gear to level two
The most efficient spot to farm Farrosh is at Riola spring as he spawns directly from there, you can setup a camp in the cave north of the spring and get easy horn farming done from there every morning in-game as he spawns in.
There is a better location to farm Farosh pieces. If you go to the Lakeside Stable South of Faron Tower, you can use the cooking pot to wait until NIGHTIME. Doing so, run straight onto Floria Bridge just East of Lakeside Stable. Farosh will be so close to you as he flies just over the bridge. If you're up for it, you won't even need to jump off the bridge until he sheds the shard. Lakeside Stable, Floria Bridge, nighttime. Right over your head. Try it.
WalkVenturous you can just camp at riola spring, that's where he spawns first hand. I would definitely recommending trying to farm there. It's easy, and you get to be closer to him than at the bridge.
I've noticed a few areas he just shows up. I've tried the spring as well. Very useful. The advantage with the lakeside Stable, though, is that you do not need to bring firewood. And you have time to run onto the bridge to set up your shot.
The first time i saw the dragon, i was awed. It's so beautiful! How the hell are you supposed to know to attack it, given that it's also described as peaceful? Wtf Nintendo, why do you go Cave Story on us?
I was very fascinated by the dragons, and it got even more fascinated when I heard their OST. Their presentation made me not want to hurt them, they’re beautiful.

thank you so much for making this guide to dragon farming! i was having a really hard time figuring out how to get to naydra so i could get horn shards to complete the champion's tunic upgrades and your video showed me. i also learned where the spring of courage was thanks to your video as well.
Good job on the video. Some of these places I didnt know were spawn points. Here are my personal preferences for places to farm, mainly because they aren't far from shines, and because all of them are downward angle shots that can be done without gliding: Dinraal: Around 11 or 11:30pm, warp to Tena Ko'sah Shrine , which is above Tabantha Great Bridge to the west, and glide down to the bridge before midnight. Around midnight Dinraal comes down the canyon, shoot him as he passes under the bridge, then glide down to wherever the shard drops. Farosh: be on Floria Bridge before midnight. At midnight Farosh spawns from Riola Spring, and flies under Floria Bridge. He flies so close to the bridge you can practically touch him, but getting too close to him WILL get you electrocuted. LOL. Glide down to wherever the shard drops. Naydra: Basically the same as the video, I just did it deeper into the canyon, closer to where the shards always seem to fall, which is usually around Lanayru Promenade. I usually go to Dow Na'eh Shrine, go up the waterfall (having the Zora Armor) and over to the cliff edge above the canyon. Glide or climb to wherever the shard drops.
I'm like, 2 yrs late for party... But you can farm all 3 dragobs w/ just one wood bundle, in a "dragon run", the only requirement is putting the transportation medallion west-is of where you climb to farm at the Elding region (if I teleport right to that pilar Dinral won't appear, I usually need to teleport west-ish, run a little to the east, climb the pilar and then Dinral will appear climbing down from the sky). I like to start at the Lake Tower, on top of the tower, sit till night, wait till 11:55 and glide from the tower to top Hylia Bridge portal (avoid annoying Yiga at the bridge, put on shock resistant gear), as you land Farosh should be getting out of the water, just wait for the updraft, farm. Teleport to the Dow Na'eh Shrine (it should be about 3~4 am), put on climbing gear, get out of the cave by the passage on the west side of the waterfall, climb the west wall up tp the top and wait for Naydra at the west corner of the "gates corridor" and the waterfall opening, put on anti-freeze gear, look east and Naydra should be taking it's sweet time coming down from Mont Lanayru, updraft, farm. Teleport to the medallion at a little west from the pilar marked on the video, it should be 7ish am, run east to trigger Dinral, climb the pillar, fireproof gear, updraft, farm. 3 Dragon parts, one run.
I think a better place to farm farosh stuff is riola spring. At exactly 5 am he shoots out of the water so you just have to jump and glide and shoot wherever you want You dont even have to collect the thing, just go to the next morning and itll stay there
My 5G is slow where I am atm but I found a way to do all 3 between [Fire] 12am , [Electric] 2:30-3pm and [ICE] between 4:30am and 6:30am. If u wanna knownthe pattern I csn tell ya. SUPER Easy!
This is very informative and cool and i love the design of the dragons and the visuals of them flying through the sky, but i just cant get past the girly and cute way Link squats by the fire, my favorite part of this video
Awesome guide but I've found that you can get more than one a day, its more like one per pass of the dragon. I was in Tabatha going north to farm gourmet food and I saw dinrall pass by so I shot him about 9pm and went to get the scale and at 11pm I heard the music again roughly in the same spot and shot him again and he dropped another scale. This was also before I did spring of power. May have been a bug but I definitely got 2 scales in one day from the same dragon.
ok after a bit of testing i figured out that if you use a campfire before the dragon despawns after getting a drop it'll glitch out and wont spawn unless i warp somewhere
Bobby Boswell go to the shae loya shrine and camp til morning and immediately run midway through bridge and look to right. He'll spawn every time. Found this out when I was trapped in the canyon for like 2 hours unable to make the climb lol
You gave all the information I needed, thank you!! It was hard to find the best farming route and where to shoot, where the other 2 springs are, so this is great
5:45 It's actually one piece *per encounter*. I was camping Farosh in the morning, and later that same day I got him again when he was on his way back to his despawn point. I'd guess it's something like "if they go far enough away from you to unrender", but I don't know for sure.
Also a much better place to farm Farosh is on top of the waterfall above the Shoda Sah Shrine. You can set up camp right next to the pool that he literally spawns out of, meaning as soon as you finish waiting till morning he's 5 feet away from you. Just jump off the waterfall cliff and feign shot the part you want as he flies down it, then use the Zora Armor to swim back up the waterfall and make camp again. The whole thing takes less than 2 minutes per cycle.
There's an even faster way. Same area, but set up camp under a tree on the side of the lake opposite the waterfall (so you're looking across the lake over where the falls, uh, fall). Sit till morning, pull out your bow and look up. Farosh will spawn with his horn right in your line of sight and, with a little practice, you can shoot whatever part you need without even moving. Sit by the fire again and repeat. You don't have to wait for the part to fall (in fact you'll see it fall when you stand up the next morning) and the parts will fall into two or three neat piles on either side of the waterfall. If you're quick and your aim is true you can reliably do 3 cycles per minute. I do 10 minute cycles then go collect parts, and it's usually around 30 parts. I never have to jump down the waterfall and only have to travel to Shoda Sah when/if he stops spawning.
7:01 Another great place for Farosh is Riola Spring in the Faron region. The only issue is that if you can’t swim up waterfalls you might need to deal with a Hinox and a Lynel
Unlike other specific RUclipsrs that I'm not going to mention you actually show the locations on your map instead of just vaguely talking about where the locations
Respect for saying that you don't really care about the liking and subscribing! I'm sure it's still important, but I like it how you won't allow it to become you're only priority or something like that. You're a cool guy.
When I first discovered them I was so excited and just kept jumping up and down. I was literally amazed and just stunned. I think I was in the high plateau and I turned around to see a dragon flying across the sky. At this time I had literally beaten the game by now. I played for almost two months exploring everywhere I could. After everything, after beating the game I was just chilling and discovered one for the first time. Omg one the the greatest times ever.
So, I just happened across your videos, and I have to say, they are *PRIME* tip/guide material. Very very well done. I'll definitely be referring to these videos as I need them.
If in any case it stops spawning ( it does for me) turn off the console and turn it back on, it's similar to a blood moon technique and they will spawn once again
tried the hylia bridge farosh farm- worked like a charm ( after three tries lol) consistently shows up. use the updraft he creates. you only need a little. I recommend for those who don't have two stamina wheels, cook 1 endura carrot and eat the meal halfway through the flight to keep from running out- full refill plus extra 😊
Riola spring is super-fast for farming farosh, he spawns at 9pm and 5am out of the middle of the spring and you can set up a fire under the tree by the spring. The dragon parts even fall off very close by!
I’m so glad that I checked my album to see if they were friendly or not after taking a pic. Cause at first I was hella scared until that idea came to mind.
I found a cool trick for Naydra and any dragons near water. After you shoot a dragon part, fall into the water and drown. You'll respawn with another chance to shoot the dragon, but the part you already knocked off will still be there. It's quickest to paraglide to the side of a wall without touching groune, jump back and forth to drain stamina, then fall into the water. I haven't tried having more than two pieces on the ground at once, but it's worth a shot.
Farming for dragon parts for the first time can get your adrenaline going, and it's so satisfying seeing the part fly off the body and then you go to pick it up
Agreed. Riola spring is the spot to farm farosh, except camp just inside the cave on the north side of the spring and you can literally stand in one spot the whole time. Just sit til morning, jump, glide, shoot, and repeat. Takes like 10 sec between resets and get rich quick
Ever since I freed Naydra, I couldn't find any Dragons anymore. And my spot to farm Dinral and Farosh doesn't work either. I don't know what happend but it started after I completed the Spring of Wisdom shrine
Thanks for the breakdown! I didn't even realize you could get 4 different things from each because after freeing Naydra, you get a scale no matter where you shoot -.-
The first hit on any of the dragons will be a scale, as it happens. I got a very precise horn-hit on both Dinraal and Farosh, but the first times were still scales. Probably to make sure that you can do the shrine quests efficiently.
They are friendly, "bears no ill will toward people" as it says in the Hyrule Compendium, but getting too close to them can harm you because of the coating around them.
If you touch them it will take like 1/4 heart, like if you were to touch the body of a bokoblin. They also give off elemental discharges that can shock, freeze, or set you on fire if you're too close.
So, here's the thing about Dinraal: Your method outlined @ 4:54 worked, but only a few times. I prayed at the Spring, like you said, but I could never get him to follow a consistent schedule/path like you can with Farosh. Sometimes he would show up, sometimes he wouldn't. This was likely patched. However, I did find a way to get him to consistently spawn... 1. Pray @ Spring of Power 2. Warp to the shrine nearby Tabantha Bridge Stable. 3. Sit at the cooking pot in front of the entrance to the stable and rest until NIGHT. 4. Call for your horse (it helps to have the Ancient Saddle, but if not, just talk to the teller and get your horse) 5. Ride north along the cliffedge of the canyon until you spot Dinraal flying THROUGH the canyon on the left. He should be slightly below you in elevation. 6. Once he gets close enough, farm your parts and retrieve them. 7. Warp back to the stables (!!!) and repeat from Step 3. NOTE: I believe WARPING back to the stables in the last step is crucial in getting Dinraal to consistently respawn for me. My theory is that Dinraal "resets" whenever you warp back to the stables after farming his parts. After warping back, he's now flagged again so that he may respawn the following night. This resetting/recycling of the area may even work for the area shown in the video, but I didn't test it, since I didn't want to mess up the cycle by trying to get him to spawn up north.
To reiterate what others have said, over by Serenne stable, up towards the area with the horses, is a great place to farm Dinraal. You can jump off the canyon side, paraglide and shoot easily. I for some reason couldn’t catch Farosh reliably at the bridge so the Gerudo mountains is a good place (near a Lynel). My best luck for Naydra was on the cliffs heading towards the sea near Horon (and the shrine quest).
(all the dragons are females) She circles around the canyons nearby the rito village. If you see a canyon close to the rito then camp and chances are dinraal will appear there
Any other Wii U players having trouble getting the dragons to respawn after snagging a horn for the first time? Seriously, just getting to the Dinraal area was a pain, and then having to leave? I just cycled through a Blood Moon, so that White Lynel is back. I feel violated. At least Farosh has a shrine right below it and a waterfall to climb, and the Naydra hunting archway is just a jaunt away from one as well, and the Lynel near there is only a red. Seriously, I know where I'm planting my Travel Medallion once the DLC drops.
I get Farosh parts at Riola Spring, 5AM. There's a shrine behind the base of the waterfall (easy to warp to and then swim up the waterfall to the spring). For Naydra I set my campfire on the cliff right above Lanayru Promenade (again, a shrine sits behind the waterfall, easy to warp to). I usually wait until midnight and Naydra comes from the mountain and the parts usually land on that same ledge as in this video.
I have found that I have to get down and run towards where he starts to spawn from, and then he will spawn then you have to sprint back, other times you have to just keep leaving the area coming back waiting till morning and keep trying, but definitely doesnt seem to just repeatedly do it like the video shows.

@@jonathanhuff884 It depends on whether you've been to the spring of courage or not.

If you set up a campfire right next to Riola Spring and wait til either morning or night, Farosh spawns almost immediately out of the water right next to you. I just farmed the northern dragon 5 times and he stopped spawning, the other dragons aren't coming as well.
I'm playing for the first time rn
I just learned to shield surf. The loading tips told me about it, and I was at the top of a huge hill.
Literally my first surf, picked up huge speed, jumped over a bobokin, even used a rock as a halfpipe and did a huge jump, then as I turned a corner and approached the bottom of the hill I surfed straight into quicksand and died. GG Link
How to -Train- Farm Your Dragon
You just gestured to *all* of the video.
I didnt know you can farm them, i go close to them so i can make pictures of it
The Eldin Great Skeleton is also a great spot for the fire dragon, it flys almost level beside it and you can get in great shots
Yep, and no lynel! Haha
That is actually where I go 😂
you can also place down a red chu chu jelly and hit it to ignite wood
+ you make em easily by placing blue chu chu jellies into fire
If you add flint and wood in your hands, and drop it, you can attack it with a metal weapon to make fire.
Slaie Lokk lmao
Revan1664 it’s much easier to just convert chu Chu jellies to red because it’s so easy to stockpile
It’s not particularly hard to get flint but compared to chu chus it’s not as convenient
Plus it can be any weapon (or even a bomb?) for the red chu chu jelly
Fire weapon is the most reliable because you don't wear down its durability when lighting campfires. So it can literally repeat forever if you want.
I didn’t know dragons were in the game so when I was crossing bridge of hylia I was like “is that a fucking dragon”
Why does no one know the "blue and black goo" is called Malice?
I call it Ganon's cum
It doesn't make a difference. It's technically right.
@@UluvNacho he must really have it hard for Naydra
I called it corruption
I will now call it “badness”
If we see those dragons again, in Breath of the Wild 2, I hope they can help us in boss battles.
It's easy, and you get to be closer to him than at the bridge.
ive already tried that and its WAY more efficient and i havent even gone to the SoC XD
ihaz kirbro you went to riola spring to farm?
I've noticed a few areas he just shows up. I've tried the spring as well. Very useful. The advantage with the lakeside Stable, though, is that you do not need to bring firewood. And you have time to run onto the bridge to set up your shot.
Didnt see this post until after I posted the same thing.. This is my preferred spot too.
Thanks for the advice on farming.
It also helps if you have Level 2 upgrades of the Rubber Armor, Fireproof Armor, and that Snowquill Armor

I'll be totally honest, the first time I saw Farosh, I thought that it was the Light Spirit Lanayru from Twilight Princess (the big snake spirit).

heh
Thanks to your video I finally upgraded most of my gear, the champions tunic took the longest with all those horn requirements. Thank you!
I was very fascinated by the dragons, and it got even more fascinated when I heard their OST. Their presentation made me not want to hurt them, they’re beautiful.
dont forget that where you set up camp for naydra, there is a blue-maned lynel, so make sure to kill him first
it can become silver/gold after finishing 4 divine beasts
Pinoles_04 oh shit. I’M UNABLE TO KILL ANY KIND OF LYNELS (except red Lynels)

Thanks for your videos dude, its very well articulated. Ive seen so many videos where people just go "alright you go here, do this, do this, do this, and there you have it." But you actually EXPLAIN IT. Thank you.
Kane, thanks for the support! I try to make these videos as thorough as possible so even the newest player can understand and execute these methods.
I'm here trying to farm Farosh but those Yiga clan warriors keep killing me on the bridge
Was it theLegend27?
I go on top of the tower on Hyrule Bridge. Then I just jump off and get Farosh, the plus side of the tower no enemies, the negative side always in the elements
The yiga clan people aren't too hard. You just need to move around when they disappear.
@@hippo440 why would you waste an ancient arrow like that. Yiga clan people die in like 2/3 shots.

thank you so much for making this guide to dragon farming! i was having a really hard time figuring out how to get to naydra so i could get horn shards to complete the champion's tunic upgrades and your video showed me. i also learned where the spring of courage was thanks to your video as well.
Good job on the video. Some of these places I didnt know were spawn points. Here are my personal preferences for places to farm, mainly because they aren't far from shines, and because all of them are downward angle shots that can be done without gliding:
Dinraal: Around 11 or 11:30pm, warp to Tena Ko'sah Shrine , which is above Tabantha Great Bridge to the west, and glide down to the bridge before midnight.
Glide or climb to wherever the shard drops.
anyone who says like and subscribe if you want to, or don't idk, has my respect. liked and subscribed.
Subbed for not telling me to sub. And for the great video : )
so trueee it's so annoying
Yes. When people beg for subs, it is annoying.
100% agree
At exactly 5 am he shoots out of the water so you just have to jump and glide and shoot wherever you want
You dont even have to collect the thing, just go to the next morning and itll stay there
My 5G is slow where I am atm but I found a way to do all 3 between [Fire] 12am , [Electric] 2:30-3pm and [ICE] between 4:30am and 6:30am.
If u wanna knownthe pattern I csn tell ya. SUPER Easy!
I just saw a fire dragon and took a pic
Because you said don't like comment and sub I'm doing it. The reverse psychology worked on me.
ok wtf ive done all three springs was able to farm the parts off farosh easily but dinraal refuses to spawn consistently
ok after a bit of testing i figured out that if you use a campfire before the dragon despawns after getting a drop it'll glitch out and wont spawn unless i warp somewhere
Same for me
Bobby Boswell go to the shae loya shrine and camp til morning and immediately run midway through bridge and look to right. He'll spawn every time. Found this out when I was trapped in the canyon for like 2 hours unable to make the climb lol
AustinMJohnson132 😂😂😭 im picturing someone now stuck somewhere in a game because they're unable to make a climb lmao.
You gave all the information I needed, thank you!! It was hard to find the best farming route and where to shoot, where the other 2 springs are, so this is great
Damn I honestly thought they were all forms of ganon trying to kill me HAHAHHHA
You know what, you are the first person i have ever watched who said not to subscribe... I am subscribing for that reason.
Interesting, the dragons spawn at night for me. Though I farm from different locations.
Before you go to the springs they often spawn at midnight, after the springs they often spawn at 5:00 am
I farm Naydra by waiting until night (9pm) and he appears over the mountain around midnight. Farosh I farm in the morning at Riola Spring.
Thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial! It was very helpful!
I was walking around on botw and I saw one of the dragons and said "Oh shit a dragon :0o0ooo"

I was wondering why I hadn't met the ice dragon, now I'll make my way to mount lanayru
Respect for saying that you don't really care about the liking and subscribing! I'm sure it's still important, but I like it how you won't allow it to become you're only priority or something like that. You're a cool guy.
The campfire you set up for Naydra is really close to a Lynel spawn, which can complicate things.
Lynels only attack when they see you drawing your sword/bow/rune
Damn, I wish I knew that.
Solution: Kill it
@@Cemtleman you very disturbed individual just use an ancient arrow and hopefully your link falls into Oblivion.

The light arrows this is just so easy. Great video man!
When I first saw the dragon I thought that was one of the divine beasts
So, I just happened across your videos, and I have to say, they are *PRIME* tip/guide material.
Very very well done. I'll definitely be referring to these videos as I need them.
If in any case it stops spawning ( it does for me) turn off the console and turn it back on, it's similar to a blood moon technique and they will spawn once again
Dank Pigs just fast travelling to the closest shrine also works.
tried the hylia bridge farosh farm- worked like a charm ( after three tries lol) consistently shows up. use the updraft he creates. you only need a little. I recommend for those who don't have two stamina wheels, cook 1 endura carrot and eat the meal halfway through the flight to keep from running out- full refill plus extra 😊
When the dragon parts are easier to get than the flowers.
Riola spring is super-fast for farming farosh, he spawns at 9pm and 5am out of the middle of the spring and you can set up a fire under the tree by the spring. The dragon parts even fall off very close by!
At 10:10 the claw almost went over the cliff! XD
I’m so glad that I checked my album to see if they were friendly or not after taking a pic. Cause at first I was hella scared until that idea came to mind.
As in, Nayru, Farore, and Din??? thinking of oracle of ages and seasons games...
Similar to the 3 Goddesses.
That’s who they were named after ☺️
they are the three Guardian spirits of the goddess hylia.
They are named after their location and goddesses, Farosh, Faron and Farore, Dinraal, Eldin and Din, and lastly Naydra, Lanayru and Nayru.
2 years late gang
Farming for dragon parts for the first time can get your adrenaline going, and it's so satisfying seeing the part fly off the body and then you go to pick it up
He forgot to mention that there’s a Lynel where Naydra appears
Thank you so much for this video, it made finding the dragons so much eaiser, especially since I now about the statues.
THANKS.
That's all. No clever comment or anything. Just thanks.
I don't know what happend but it started after I completed the Spring of Wisdom shrine
the update that came out the other night fixed it
Thanks for the breakdown!
Good tip andrew ty
Andrew, great tip! Thanks for the info!
I didn't know praying at the springs changes the spawns
New Age it doesn't I didn't pray at the spring for dinraal and the spawn didn't change you can go directly to the spawn and farm
New Age ii
XLegendaryX1204 Bryan wrong. I didn't pray to the springs and it only spawned once . The rest the same.
Best video on RUclips about dragons
Do you know if dragons will attack you? Or are they friendly giants?
They are friendly, "bears no ill will toward people" as it says in the Hyrule Compendium, but getting too close to them can harm you because of the coating around them.
If you touch them it will take like 1/4 heart, like if you were to touch the body of a bokoblin. They also give off elemental discharges that can shock, freeze, or set you on fire if you're too close.
So, here's the thing about Dinraal:
Your method outlined @ 4:54 worked, but only a few times. I prayed at the Spring, like you said, but I could never get him to follow a consistent schedule/path like you can with Farosh. Sometimes he would show up, sometimes he wouldn't. This was likely patched. However, I did find a way to get him to consistently spawn...
1. Pray @ Spring of Power
2. Warp to the shrine nearby Tabantha Bridge Stable.
3. Sit at the cooking pot in front of the entrance to the stable and rest until NIGHT.
4. Call for your horse (it helps to have the Ancient Saddle, but if not, just talk to the teller and get your horse)
Or an ancient bow would probably work great too
Xboy Glitchmaster waste of an ancient bow if you ask me
Forest1538 an ancient bow is a waste if you ask me
To reiterate what others have said, over by Serenne stable, up towards the area with the horses, is a great place to farm Dinraal.
After only two horn shards, Dinraal stopped spawning in the morning. :(
I was only able to get one
Thanks for the videos. My kids and I just started BOTW and your vids have been EXTREMELY HELPFUL! Thanks!
Thanks! I farmed Farosh at Riola spring actually, it's super easy there to hit
I tried farming dinraal so many times but he never spawned in the spot you showed :(
if you still need it, the dragon spawns in that unnamed valley between Gerudo highlands and tabantha frontier
(all the dragons are females)
She circles around the canyons nearby the rito village. If you see a canyon close to the rito then camp and chances are dinraal will appear there
Even years later, this video is helpful and great!!
Farosh spawns at night and spawns multiple times
and first thing every morning at Riola Spring, I camp under the arch and am protected from water for my fire, and lightning
You can also place the travel medallion to get to the places after you go and collect the dragon part
Starcat5 * silver lynel
SpedUHC not if they haven't killed it lol
SpedUHC or finished all divine beasts
A fairy at a great fairy fountain told me to get a shard of farosh fang so this really helped
they spawn between 00:00 - 06:00 AM.
The Dinraal location was good for a few times now he won't spawn there anymore? Is something wrong?
find a solution yet?
I have found that I have to get down and run towards where he starts to spawn from, and then he will spawn then you have to sprint back, other times you have to just keep leaving the area coming back waiting till morning and keep trying, but definitely doesnt seem to just repeatedly do it like the video shows.
I was having trouble getting Dinraal to spawn, but your trick actually worked. Thanks for the help.
