How do you like this format? We still look into Tears of the Kingdom of course, but also look back at Breath of the Wild, and look forward to new upcoming games like Echoes of Wisdom and beyond!
I havent gotten to play EoW yet so Im not a fan of this format psrsonally. I clicked on this thinking it was ToTK cus of the thumbnail and wasn't able to close the video before the EoW part.
I'm glad my research could be of help with this video! Here's a fun bonus fact: One of Notts's dialogues also calls her singing "Return of the Bird-Wrangling Hero, Prelude in E-sharp Minor". This is a joke introduced by the localization team, but anyone with knowledge of music will know this is ridiculous since E-sharp is just F. But you theoretically could write it in E-sharp Minor… a key signature with eight sharps (F is double-sharped). I did try to transcribe the in-game song at one point and I think it even uses a quarter tone… Zelda composers at it again.
Not only is she named after Minerva, Mineru's construct is also the best way to mine ore deposits and Zonaite since it costs no durability and can break multiple deposits in one swing.
For #17, the giant rock is a neat trick, but why not let the Lynel take itself out? There are 2 singing frogs in the game: one that causes rain, and one that just alerts other enemies to your presence. Use the latter to draw the Lynel out of the forest, and over to the nearby stream/river. Then jump into the stream/river when the Lynel targets you, and the Lynel should try to follow, except...it drowns instead. The Lynel echo is now yours.
Awesome work and ideas glad to see some of the original series returning back from multiple games, even after 7 long years always happy to return to this series lol

8:56 "How very :3 of you" was not something I was expecting to hear in this video, but I am all here for it
That final one was cool and educational. I had no idea about that scale. Nice touch Nintendo!

Link getting sturdy with it during the intro!!!
Wow they really thought of Tears of the Kingdom with everything that does into it even the names have meaning. Keep up the great videos.
1:38 Actually Link got stronger and now he can throw the bones right back in the eye.
Whatever his was doing between the games is showing results!
Nice deep dive Gamespot. Keep it up!

Fun fact: you can use melee weopons on Sidon in BOTW when doing the vah Ruta quest
Breath of the Wild is the best game of all time imo
Fun fact: the Mogmas in Skyward Sword also have mineral names: Guld for gold, Ledd for lead, Kobal for cobalt, and so on.
The last one is my favourite reference/analysis !
Purah pad is apple product confirmed
That invisible horse is brilliant! 🤣

Can you put in the link to the Japanese name sheet?
If BOTW has another DLC in 2024... ELDEN RING DLC is going to have a HARD TIME...

First not bot here I’m a real person not a bot
That's exactly what a bot would say
Looks like you accidentally flipped facts 2 and 4
Eepy? Seriously? Épée is pronounced "ep-pay".
Loved the video, format is great - but generally don't care about the naming conventions. At all. Otherwise fantastic!
