    I’ve been watching your channel on and off for years. Finally got my first duel sport after riding street bikes. A Kawasaki klx250. Turns out I didn’t really like it :( I bought it brand new too. Luckily with bikes in such high demand I only lost about 500. But I don’t really have a lot of off road spots, and the power on the street was lacking so I sold it and now I’m back to street bikes. But I’m still interested in duel sports and I’ve always enjoyed your content!

    I kept on thinking for months I'd get a CB500x (which I guess Honda classifies as an adventure bike and not a dual sport like the 300L) as I'll never do super technical off road stuff (mostly dirt roads, mountain roads, BLM roads is what I'd like to ride on), but man, that 300L really might be the ticket. Great video!!! I picked my 300L up last week and I love it!! I also bought a set of those acerbis x factory hand guards that it looks like your buddy Harry has on his bike to put on. When I cut off the end of the hand guards I found out that the bars are not hollow like the 250L but appear to have threads for like bar weights or something like that. I was wondering if you were planning on putting guards on yours and if so what your thoughts were on just getting some bolts from the hardware store or something like that to attach them with?? Great video as always! Really appreciate what is the same and what has changed. I have a 2017 Honda CRF Rally and I love it. I was wondering about upgrading to the 300 Rally and wasn't sure if it was worth it or not. I do have a question you may be able to answer. I have changed the sprokets this year to 42 at the back to have a little more power down low to get over logs and such. I really like the difference. How do you compare the power of the 300 (unmodified) compared to a 250 with 42 sproket? I was hoping that the 300 would have about the same or more power, and also maintain the higher top speed without having to gear it down a bit like I did on the 250. Thanks.

    • @WOODZMAN
      @WOODZMAN  3 года назад

      The CRF300L has more torque Tehran the 250L even with the 42 on the rear. The gearing is just a lot better. So add the better gearing, lighter weight and more power and it’s just a better package. The 250L is still a great bike.

    i am going to buy the new 300L, loving my LRP which i am having since 2012 now without ANY problem, just the usual, 2 times timechain probs solved for not too much money, forkseals and one time i powdercoated my engine. HONDA is really crappy in the past years with the colour. The black colour on the forks of my brand new CB500X 2019 was gone after the first powerwash :/ and i didnt pull the 150bar of my Karcher directly on it. Also some of the screws starting to show rust just after a year. Lets hope the colour is better on the new CRF300L on the rims for example.... would LOVE to spend 100.-Bucks more for having a better paint or powdercoated stock job ;)
