Cool project Billy! I have never really thought of using raw hide from dog treats.for projects like this. It sure seemed to work great and not expensive at all. A lot cheaper than trying to buy scraps of leather for sure. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Billy Joe... I just want to let you know that Scout was drooling the whole time we were watching the video... Looks like I'm going to have to buy him some rawhides tomorrow...lol... What a great project... I think I'm going to try making a handle for my Pan.. Awesome video.. Until the next one...👍✌
@@billyjoedenny Challenge accepted... Now if I could only get some warm weather to do the project in.. we're supposed to be in the single digits until next Thursday. ..
Great idea using rawhide. Hope to see you soon! I will bring both of my Ridgerunner hammocks and let you try it out. Probably not overnight, because my son may come with me. But you could test it a while to see how you would like it Then, knowing you....you will embark on making an improved diy version. :)
I like working with the rawhide from dog bones, I bought one of the HUGE bones one time to use as in a halloween prop, it was full of tiny scraps that I was going to dry, I thought I had it out of critters reach...never underestimate a dogs intelligence ....lol... I never thought about a pipe holster/sheath back when I smoked. My mom sent me a good kitchen knife because Im always using dollar tree knives in my cooking videos, Im brutal on knives and for a buck I can be...anyway I made a quick wrap sheath from rawhide, no sewing and it hangs right above the stove
That was pretty cool! Are you thinking about making a rawhide sheath to carry around a small skillet, or something to slide over the handle, like a potholder kind of thing?
How old is this video. Your yard isn’t flooded. Lol. This pipe neck holder looks like something CC72 or Carolina Chris needs. I don’t think yours is going to last too long with the way your dog is sounding. lol. That turned out pretty nice.
I have a pipe and tobacco review channel and this is a great idea thanks for sharing the video my friend, I give a sub come see ole Berg when you get time take care
