    Brother! You hit the nail on the head. I relate to your beautiful sentiments of your mom as I too grew up with our rich Rican traditions as well
    and i have mental snap shots from of my modest boyhood days of watching Doña Eva (mom) cooking in the kitchen. Thanks for the memories.

    My family lives in aguadilla i was a 9 years old when we moved away to the united states' but i never forgot the smell and taste of the food. I went out there 5 years ago when I found my aunt's uncle's cousins and it it was a very special day for me and we had alcapurias pastel's areoz con gandules. Had to get my hot bread every morning at the panaderia.

    These look delicious, I make mine with same ingredients but sometimes I switch out yuatia for yuca! They taste really good both ways 🎉 Thanks for this video 😻
