Thanks for the demo!! Living in Ja for umpteen years now and you taught me how to make good fritters without eggs and baking powder! You got to the point no long unnecessary storytelling! Keep up the good work bro!!
Chef….it’s a cold autumn night in England and I fancied something warm and sweet for dessert. You my chef have complete me with your fritters. Thank you 🙏
the best banana fritters ever,,try it this way, into a blender add the bananas, add sugar according to your likes, full cream milk 4 table spoons, all purpose flour depending on the consistency, vanilla essence, nutmeg powder a little, cinnamon powder a little, and a pinch of salt. blend everthing into a smooth paste, into a pan add oil and shallow fry it till golden brown on eithet sides. cook on medium heat. this is how i make it...keep it simple....enjoy happy eating...
You inspire me to get back in the kitchen. I use to love cooking growing up in Jamaica but now I do the minimum. Thank you...now I'm hungry for banana fritters. Lol
Dats because yuh tun american. Everyting at yuh disposal. Yuh waan someting, yuh run go a store. Nothing authentic again. All of unnu hear dis. Start yuh ona cooking.
Avocado Oil, and Grapeseed Oil is great for frying at high temperatures because of the amount of fat that in them. I use those oils to cook my steaks in and to season my cast irons with. Olive Oil is just a healthier alternative to vegetable oil or canola oil. I think that’s the point he was trying to make.
Thank you so much chef Cardo. It's currently 2:31am where I'm at and I woke up feeling for banana fritters and I just use ur dope recipe. It's delicious.
Nah bredrin, I love it when he says "simple add ...." instead of "you simply add..."; "luvley an nice"; and "flitters" instead of fritters🤣 He reminds me of my parents (RIP), who were also from the beautiful island of Jamaica ❤❤
So good and simple to make. I made some a few weeks ago, going to make again this weekend. Good way to use up all the overipe bananas too. Thank you chef, and thumbs up from me.
Boss your pinch 🤏 look like punch 🤛 don’t need no sugar sweetness in the bananas 🍌 🍌 already and that’s why them burn so fast.Too sugar not good for your health
Don't you think that you are putting too much in the pan at the same time? I don't use half of that amount of oil. It is oily enough. The paper still don't drain all that oil.

You are one brilliant Cardo, my number one cooking channel. 🍳
I'm British and always crave other cultures foods have no clue why but sometimes I prefer there way of life alo just depends
We make banana nut bread or muffins with over ripe bananas. I've never had Banana Fritters. It looks amazing!
Note: Olive oil, though healthy should not be heated. It's to be sprinkled on salads etc. Not heated.
Those fritters looks yummy.
It’s not strong enough for frying with.
Olive oil is a con like all of those fashionable oils. Unless it comes from one vineyard it will be ‘cut’ with many other oils rendering it rubbish.
