wow, this sherman tank was the first model I built when I was a boy, back in the 90s! I had no idea that you could paint and weather it, I put all parts together and called it done. Still had a ton of fun though.
Have watched most of your videos even though I'm not much into tanks, amazes me that most of the kits that you build are 1/72, they always turn out awesome. bought my first 1/72 kit because of you...Early version BTR-70, should be here in a few days. Keep up the amazing work
Beautiful work as always, I live in Kokomo, Indiana. This tank is actually on display at a local park and was recently restored. Crazy that it's the same tank!
Brilliant, just when it looks like you're almost finished you start the next phase ! Your videos are fascinating to watch, such talent, I'm learning so much...thanks for posting them.
love watching this channel grow. the models are getting better and better along with the editing and your English!! i don't usually build models any more but you've inspired me to start again and better my own modelling skills. Thanks for the inspiration David and keep up the great work!
Youll get my respect, for building this model! As I saw, what you made with it, with all those gaps and the tracks; that crazy! Props for that and youve done a great job painting it!
I seem to remember if you heat the tank tracks with a hairdryer you can stretch them around the wheels much more easily. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m sure I made an old airfix kit where this was in the instructions. Excellent model as always.
Sincerely. I have been watching your channel for far too long and only for the pleasure of watching you working on your models. I have learned a lot from your videos and the more I watch the more I see how super detailed it becomes. Very good indeed. By the way, your video production and performance has achieved its real and final identity. Really good on that one as well. :-)
@@beaverchicken Yep. I started making 1/72 scale models for wargaming in the early 2000s, and the Airfix kits at the time (we didn't know about checking to see how old they were) were terrible. The planes that I was attempting to make in the mid 90s were even worse. Although, TBH, when I was a broke student flatting, or broke before I had a job, it wasn't really the quality of the kit that was a purchasing factor, more the price..
Okram NZ Oh I guess older kits are pretty bad, made a few older ones and I have to agree that they are next to shit to build, but their newer fit nearly perfectly, with a few exceptions
Okram NZ I recently discovered an old Airfix kit of the Bismarck from the late 90’s and decided to finally build it. The mould was terrible and the parts didn’t fit well together. Bloody awkward thing. I assembled part of the superstructure and just ditched it as the thing was becoming more hassle than it was worth. I got the new Airfix F4F-4 Wildcat kit however and pleased to say the quality is great and the mould excellent.
When a kit presents problems that make you scratch your head and ask "why?" and then turn the thing into a 1/72 masterpiece like this, it does give even more satisfaction - yes? Detail and paintwork all there as usual. Great result sir.
on a personal note, my father drove one in ww2, UK not USA. They were quite quick, but not very well armoured for what they went up against, he said once.
@SCP 096 Not really. The Allies had nearly perfected their tactics of combined arms and were able to coordinate well enough to eliminate any Panthers they came across.
Awesome build. So much weathering ! You have much steadier hands than I do, I could not have thinned the light guards like that with a knife. I would have had to remake them in styrene or wire. Great detail idea with the ammo belts. Thanks.
I fucking hate when manufactures fuck up the tracks, and it seems to be such a common issues aswell :/. Half my models have track issues. Like they cant give us damn extra cm of plastic. Easier to fix too much than too little
Beautiful work, I would like to see you do a vehicle or aircraft that is in a maintenance bay and is torn down in pieces with great detail. 👍

I love watching you build your models but the best part for me is the painting. I am a novice so I take note on your technique and tips.
Another incredible model! Very well done! Thank you for uploading this on the anniversary of D-day!

Lord of modeling back at it with one of my favorite tanks. Amazing work as always.

En escala 1/72 es uno de los tanques mejor pintados y acabados que he visto. Gran trabajo
I really enjoyed seeing you overcome the issues of a less than perfect kit. Great video and thanks for doing a D-Day tribute on this build....

Another GREAT build. You have much more talent and skills than I do, as well as a good eye for extreme weathering detail. Keep up the good work.
Good luck to me, I'm building this kit at the moment. Thanks for sharing, your work is amazing!
congrtulations on your first build video in your new home bro . when i think you cant get better you go to new level :) stay well and happy my friend
Best 1/72 Sherman in my book. I've build several and love them.
Very nice work on the small details. Those really stand out on the finished model. I like all your build videos, I learn a lot from them
Superb build with wonderful weathering!

Impresionante!! Llegas a un realismo que junto a night shift sois los mejores, me encantan vuestros trabajos!sois un reto para mí!
Now about to begin my 1st 1/72 and that was really helpful. Thank you.
For such a simple small kit it turned out great with your added details.
Dude, you're crazy! This is awesome work. Well done.
David, you build the 1:72nd scale model with details like a 1:35th scale ! I salute your skill and artistry.
"I do not recommend this kit to beginners as the fit is bad"
Mate my first kits were all from Airfix this would be easy.
Benjamin Cunningham You put together old kits from airfix? All the ones I've bought, except for my B-17 all had great fits and looked very nice

Isn’t airfix beginner easy? I must have chose the hard company lmao.

I love your videos, Plasmo. Thanks.
Awesome! Uploaded on D-Day, and I asked if you would do a Sherman a while ago, makes my day to see this video pop up!
