This isn't just amazing modelling, it's practically crafting-porn. Love your work, videos, narratives, editting & just how well you bring it all together. My own channel pales by comparison. tremendous work & well done on setting new standards
I’m doing models since 50 years now, I thought I’m good. But you beat my work hands down. Your eye for details, techniques and determination to make your models look like the real thing is simply unbelievable. I draw my hat for you Sir
You always have the perfect music to go along with the build. And the volume is nice when you voice over. Outstanding job on this! Can't wait for the other parts of the model to be done.
I absolutely LOVE how Plasmo goes so, "overboard" with 1/72 scale details! It always turns out so amazing, the models always look like a much larger scale without size context because they have so many beautiful details!
I don't ever think it's too much for the scale. That's what I love about this channel, the intense attention to detail. It's what sets your channel apart from the rest.
There are more "relaxing" videos out there who use more prominent chilled music but i want to hear about the model, plasmo explains the process and makes the entire thing sound easy and look easy, if he didnt narrate it'd be a far inferior video series.
I explained your models to a buddy of mine by saying that a picture of any of your models next to a lighter would just look like someone had made a giant lighter . I wasn't wrong lol . Outstanding work and skill !
I’ve driven one of these in Iraq and I have to say, this is extremely accurate. Right down to the cooler. Can’t wait for the trailer and hopefully the D9 dozer too!
@Plasmo Your videos have always been very well done and informative. They are even more exceptional since you started commentating about 3 years ago. Thank you!
Truly amazing. Doing this much customising, improving and weathering on any model is inspiring, but at a scale of 1/72 it's almost unbelievable. You really are very good at what you do, and also at showing how you do it.
Thank you very much for your great videos and thank you for the files to build our own, it is greatly appreciated. I run a wounded Veterans modeling group at a VA hospital and we are using your photos and files to build our kits.
As soon as the water bottle and cooler appeared, I started laughing. Unexpected and amazing modification, adds some humor to an otherwise serious military truck. Keep up the good work!
Also with the red and blue air lines, there should be a green trailer light cord. Oh, for me, it's "it's a bird..it's a plane..it's, Oh Crap! I glued my fingers together!" Beautiful work as always, David!
david your work is just stunning. your technique is outstanding. your results are unbeatable. you are the best modler on youtube - and i ve seen many, but you take the crown!
There were so many moments in this video where I said to myself "that looks so real, it must be done," only for plasmo to just keep going. The dude made cola bottles and water jugs. You're easily the best modeler I've seen.
All of your work is incredible, but the way you put the dust effect on the windshield and everywhere is beyond incredible. You are an amazing talent. I can't wait to see the trailer and bulldozer.
Your attention to detail is incredible, I spent 26 years in the army, the last 10 was as an instructor on the m1070, felt like I was looking at a real truck. Love, love, love the winch cables. If you wanted to do a small update, there was a small battery kill switch box under the winch next to the ladder on the driver side. Awsome work.
Amazing work as usual. The weather looks stunning, especially the dust on the windshield. The empty soda bottle on the floor is a nice touch. Can't wait to see the trailer and truck completed and together!
Beautifully built and perfectly painted but the weathering is *incredible* 👌 The air lines look fantastic and those Coke bottles - just unbelievable. As someone else has said, I didn't realise just how *small* the truck is, until compared with the lighter. Somehow, it looked bigger during construction. When you're *this* good, anything is possible.👏 A very enjoyable episode David, Thank you for sharing. Cheers for now,🍻 Dougie.
I watched you do it, and I still can't believe it. @25:59 I see you holding the model in the palm of your hand, but sitting alone it looks like it weighs 10,000 lbs. Simply awesome.
Seriously that’s an insane amount of skill. I was enjoying it so much I smiled at the tiny seat handle and laugher when you did the mirror. Of course you’re going to use a mirror! What was I thinking. I’m so impressed.
Exceptional video as always David, it makes me laugh at my own meager abilities when you highlight the scale with a lighter at the end and I remember you have been building a 1/72 model!
Plasmo the details on something so small is unbelievable. It’s barely bigger than a hot wheel. Wow dude you blow my mind and I’m looking forward to seeing a diorama with this in it! Awesome job bro!
Thanks. I wanted to show how is the real size. Everything looks large in the video, and people sometimes complain about details and imperfections, but mostly, it's hard to imagine the actual size of the model.
Man, even though I paint only gw lord of the rings miniatures your passion and your dedication to the smallest detail really got me into buying my first 1/72 Mustang airplane. I haven't built and painted a model airplane for 16 years. Keep up the good work. You're the best
Another great model. I love building models and being hands on with the kits but sometimes I just cant get the time to sit down and get building. These videos help supply that model building urge and build upon my creativity. Thanks for the videos and keep em coming.
Thanks Mr Plasmo, with you as inspiration after a 40 year break I’ve just bought another kit. The big difference is the cement types that are available now. Looking forward to starting the build. If it comes out 25% as good as yours I’ll be chuffed
You are easily the best 1:72 Armor&Aircraft modeler on RUclips, your results rival the results of other modelers in 1:32 scale. I hope that you will consider working with some larger scales in the future, your results in 1:48 or 1:32 scale would surely be beyond compare.
Another fantastic build David; as is everything you do.Your skill level, and the way you improvise and add details, is just amazing. I just wish I could achieve the same high level, but alas, at my age, I think I am destined to be a mediocre modeller. No matter though, as I enjoy modelling, and get a great deal of satisfaction out of a finished model. I love your builds, and you have imparted a lot of knowledge to your fellow modellers, myself included. I have watched (and re-watched) your build videos and I have learned a lot. So thank you for that, and keep them coming. Cheers from Australia.
