Quaid roe If it was too light, it wouldn't be a able to put the power down as good. And it's not meant for a track car so don't expect Viper ACR performance or GT350r track times. BUT idk if you have driven one before but it's probably one of the best 4k lbs car you'll find

Andrej Retschinkow then you’re lucky in the US you’ll see them everywhere in a 30 min drive you’ll see at least 10-15 in traffic. Challenger and Camaro’s are the same you’ll see the v6 and base models all the time but hardly a hellcat, Redeye, a 2ss let alone a zr1 or demon.
2:10 gotta strongly disagree, that brown leather looks like ass with the orange paint, it totally clashes. I saw one in person at the dealership, at first I was blown away by the orange, but when I looked inside, my heart fell to my feet. I thought if it had black, I'd actually tease the thought of possibly buying one. I drive a '12 IOM Camaro with orange leather, and it looks great together because the leather is actually orange, not brown like this is.

I would, for the sake of not getting yelled at constantly, take them off. But personally i like them on lol, it defines the splitter from the pavement i guess.

Whenever I see this, I want to pull one off just so they have to either take the other one off, or go to the dealer to get a replacement thinking it was a legit part of the car so the dealer can laugh and send them home empty handed. It's so tacky looking.

You touched on everything I noticed as well when I drove one a couple weeks back. I didnt have any trouble with the clutch, I agree it is heavy but I didnt stall or anything. Shifter is notchy but gears are close together, I actually missed some gears when I drove it. And that superchager WHINE is amazing.

Guy by me has a red challenger hellcat 6spd and is raffling it away in partnership with the sheriffs department by me. Lucky for me the owner of the dealership lives by me and has the damn thing being towed by his ram 3500 and let me take a peak. Let me just say that is a car i would definitely learn manual for. Also the tickets for the raffle are only $25 bucks though the raffle doesn't end until June of next year. But also great video man cant wait for the auto hellcat and try to get a charger hellcat!!!!

It's definitely a BIG physical difference between the SP and Hellcat from taking off from a stop. My buddy that has a Hellcat took my buddy that has a Scat and its a night and day difference lol. Both are fun regardless!!

hey riley. nice vid. when u go to your srt pages and click on your engine. it shows how much hp and torque your making. u thi k thats accurate? the numbers it shows? last Monday u was checking stuff in thoes pages. and i did a pull and it whent all the way to 493 hp. all i got as mods is a mopar cai. whats the highest number you've ever seen with your scatpack? o I've got the 2016 srt 392 charger.
I'm curious how accurate that is as well
Not sure how accurate that screen is but several of my friends and myself have seen it hit right over 500 before.

I miss the days when Riley just did reviews on various cars. Riley along with Matt Maran and Redline Reviews and several others were channels I watched all the vehicles they reviewed. Then he switches cars every 6 months and just does videos on a few mods he does on each car now. Going back to being a car reviewer is where he was better at. Just my 2 cents.
I've been a "Car Guy" since building my first car, a '66 Mustang, 289ci with 4bbl/headers, etc. In the mid 1970's I put two 1969 Roadrunners together. Both had 383 Magnum w/440 heads, factory installed headers. One was automatic and the other was 4-speed with Hurst shifter. The automatic had Torqueflight 727 with a "Transco" Standard Shift Automatic kit. The both dyno'd at about 375 horses and the way they were geared the Automatic was almost a full second faster in the 1/4. Now you need to be almost a millionaire to get yourself a truly fast car. Too many expensive toys on the roads and teenagers like my grandkids can't build a safe, reasonable "hot rod" like we did back in the day. Let's keep Hot Rodding alive, but when driving anything high powered please know your limitations. Public streets in most urban/suburban areas are just plain NOT Hot Rod friendly. Stay safe, stay alive and have fun!

As a Hellcat owner, I can tell ya. It’s not that the clutch is so heavy,that makes you stall it. It’s that damn 220 something first gear. If it had a first gear like the SRT 392, like 290 something. It would be much more fun to drive. Of course racing,you would have to have slicks. Lol.

I laugh when I hear about people talking about the weight and handling when 99% of the races are straight line. Either stop light to stoplight, drag strip or freeway roll races they’re all mostly straight line. To each they’re own and it’s a good thing we all don’t like the same things or it would be a very boring world indeed

I like Mustang, Camaro and Challenger! Any of these I would take anyday over any other vehicle.
I wish they bring back header orange, go mango is nice but its too reddish...

It's a Brut, it's the kind of car that would go out and eat a tractor... for fun.... Still love these cars.. it isn't a Post office box like the Camaro, and I like the clutch and gear box far more than the stang (short clutch travel)

I think that your reaction in the supercharged Mustang GT was instantly school girl 👧 giggly. In the HELLCAT you seem to just enjoy going fast. The Mustang is scary quick. The HELLCAT seems sluggish but fast because of the weight, hence you mentioned that the clutch was very heavy, and the gearing was too close. Nice car but needs to improve. (refine)

Good review but the clutch is not heavy at all for the amount of HP you're dealing with. Either you have chicken legs or you have never driven a classic car with a heavy clutch. To me it's perfect and would not even tire out an old lady driving in stop and go situations! Sorry got to call you out and check your man card! I work at a Dodge dealership and have had the opportunity to drive about 15 different Hellcats and my favorite are the Chargers.
