I can't get enough of how psyched you get when you see/experience something you really like on a car you review. You are really passionate about what you do, love these reviews.
I usually don't comment but the music from the rolling shots at the beginning was on point. And I love how people joke about your reaction but we'd all have the same romping on one of these. Keep up the great work Matt, cant wait till the next one!
I never use my launch control because the hellcat was made to do burnouts all the way down your neighbhood. I named my hellcat n.a.c(neighborhood alarm clock)
+Phiney It'll be worth more than those Ferraris and Lamborghinis in the long run. Why, because muscle cars are more attainable, and therefore generate more nostalgia. The 1960s muscle cars, and even some of the 1970s and 1980s ones are proof of that.
I know I have said it so many times Matt but one last time, I just want to thank you and Elizabeth soooo much for coming down to Ohio for allowing me to meet you both! It was honestly like meeting your all time hero. Thank you again and keep up the AMAZING content you put out for all of us to enjoy! Hope to see you soon! +subaruwrxfan
This was your car I am assuming, lol....you still have it? If so enjoying it still? I got a 2016 Challenger Hellcat 8 months ago. 6 speed manual and had 1059 miles on it. It was a gem, and was so excited to have found it. I love my car!
I love how excited and enthusiastic he gets on every single review. Especially when he reviews a monster such as this. I want a hellcat so bad but it'll have to be a charger to haul the kiddos around
I got a RUclips notification on my phone and when I read: subaruwrxfan Dodge Challanger Hellcat, I was like hooooly sheeeeeet didn't see that coming, gotta watch it now
I just love his reactions to this kind of super power cars, this guys is very true to his feeling and his audience, everytime i watch his videos i smile and laugh with him just like i was sitting next to him in that car, man u really do a great job as a car reviewer!
This dudes reactions to cars is about as popular as Carfax, Dealer-"Yeah its got 707hp and does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and.." Buyer-"Stop right there, show me the subaruwrxfan reaction."
Which would you rather have, a Camaro ZL1 or a Hellcat? I like the Hellcats interior and power better, but I think the ZL1 looks and handles better. It's a tough decision for me.
+Ten and Two If you plan to cruise around a lot, and maybe hit the strip from time to time, get the hellcat. The ZL1 is by far a better track car, the dodge needs that extra power to keep up because its so much heavier, but in turn its a better road car - not to say the ZL1 is bad, the magnetic ride control is amazing.
Awesome review of probably the most badass car out right now, the music to the intro shots of the Challenger could not be better either, perfect match! I actually planned on using the same on one of my upcoming reviews but will probably have to rethink that choice as this review just killed it!
+subaruwrxfan hahaha I'm really surprised he actually had one and wasn't just saying that to get your attention.. but I really want one of these now, looks like alot of fun!
just now watching this, the shots of the car and especially the rolling shots were perfect, very menacing looking car with ominous music playing, very well done!
I'm loving every car review you make! You don't make this channel boring you make it exciting especially your reaction when you floor it! Keep up the good work bro!!!
I saw this same exact hellcat two weeks ago at germain ford when I went to test drive mustangs. It was slowly driving around the lot. Lol I actually drove the Mustangs exactly where he drove the hellcat in this review so nostalgic!
I love this car! the back seat isn't too bad. my friend has one (not a hellcat) and we can take long trips back there with no problem. it can take 5 with ease.
You guys must not be tall. I'm 6'3 and my seat back is almost leaning against the back seat. I'd have to be pretty scrunched up driving to give enough room behind me.
thank you reviewer ...... and thank you ma mopar - there were some dark days a while back. you have come back and I truly hope you never leave us all again. the reviewer was gushing like a teenager .. oh wait he might have been?
+ThatAlexKid That was because he wasn't able to put his foot down all the way driving this from 1st gear. Of course he was trying to be safe, and didn't want to get swirly with cars on the same road coming the other way. And also what Chris said, he would've been just a little more excited driving the manual. :)
+ThatAlexKid I think it's because there's just so much power you can't truly explore the car's limits like you can with the Boss. That's why I always argue that you don't need a crazy amount of power to have fun and go fast. Case and point, I own a Nissan 370Z which has less than half the power than the Hellcat. It's not the fastest car in the world by any means, but it's still very quick and I have yet to drive a car that makes me smile as much as that car does. Having said that, would I ever hate on having 707 hp?! NO WAY!! I would kill to have one of these! I'm actually looking into getting a Scat Pack since it's such a bargain.
Love the perspective given at the end. This is the golden age of performance and eventually it'll just be a distant memory, at least in the way we get to enjoy it.
I love how much fun you're having with the car! You are genuinely like a child who gets to play with his favorite toy! And I mean that in the best way possible! It proves to me this car is just as exciting as I thought it might be. It is now my dream car and I can't wait to own one myself. Thanks for sharing this review! More power to you!
Haha, might sound like a joke, but this brings back good memories when the trashed my rental V6 Chally down Mount Taybor road, Matt :D From time to time I see a Charger or Challenger here in germany (they are considered Pimp cars here to be honest ) and I would totally love to drive one here on our roads. Great review as always, love your excitement :D
Thanks Guido! Yeah that was a great time! I think you'd really like one of the V8s if you could take it down the autobahn. Your B roads...well, 707 hp so you'll have to forgive the heavy handling haha.
This guy gives excellent reviews. Your main reason for watching the video should be to learn about specific makes and models. Dude is hilarious, don't lose sight of the overall purpose!!
Man you had a big ol' grin on through the whole video and I don't blame you. I still love my '06 SRT8 Charger. I'll have to wait until a HELL CAT gets some miles and years on it before I can afford it but I will have one some day. All The SRTs are Awesome!!! Thank You Subaruwrxfan and Dodge /Chrysler!!
They put this against a Mustang GT on a track and the Mustang won lol. No doubt that this car is extremely quick in a straight line but, once you put some turns in front of it, you better start praying.
+Gentle Singularity You do realize they were comparing two different types of cars. The Mustang is a sports car and the Challenger is a Grand Tour with huge balls. The same thing applies to the Camaro, the Challenger is not in the same class and I really would like reviewers to stop comparing them.
royme55 They're American muscle cars so the comparison was fair. I'm not even bashing the Hellcat. It was just something they tested and I found it interesting.
Among all the reviews that I watch (I watch a lot) you are probably the most excited and I love that. It's what driving these would make me feel...utterly kiddish
Your reviews are getting better, brother. You're still a dork, but not in a bad way. Nice to see driving all of these fast cars hasn't made you jaded. Always weird to see reviewers get in cars like P1s and 918s with glazed over eyes as they review their 4th 700+ horsepower car that day. (yes, I'm aware they're both about 900 horse)
Joseph Rufino Simply putting two street legal drag radials on the back of these for optimum traction makes them a high 10 second car. I can assure you that 707hp and 650 lbft. of torque will move 4400 lbs around with ease. There are literally hundreds of thousands of examples on the internet that prove this but I'm sure you know that already.
***** I hope you realize how wrong YOU are. Again.... The Hellcat with drag radials and a skilled driver is fully capable of ten second times on stock power. The one and only key factor to getting said times is getting the power to the ground immediately with little to no wheel spin. If actual research before speaking is beyond your realm of capabilities let me know. I can provide actual links to support my claims. You can bad mouth the Hellcat twins until you're blue in the face but it will never take away how good those cars really are to the people that actually know.
It gives me that vibe of Dom's curse of a car, his 1970 Dodge Charger R/T (Fast & Furious). Something that you'd only drive when you're on a mission, because it's just that badass. The Challenger was always my fav muscle car since they started this design in 2008. Always loved it more than the Mustang & Camaro because it looked so mean. And now I love it even more with the 707hp, and what they did with the front hood of this thing .. love the hood scoop & vents. This 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat is definitely my favourite muscle car of all time. Great review Matt! Glad you got a chance to drive this beast. :)
Dodge, Chrysler & Jeep are some of the most unreliable and poorly made cars and trucks on the road. I know first hand from my own experience. Never again will I buy their products so my advice to you is enjoy the HEMI while it lasts.
Terribly made cars. My father in law purchased a 2015 Chrysler 200 back in April. Since then, he had a problem with the car simply turning off. It happened on 3 occasions and under the lemon law for the state where I live, it has to happen 4 times for the same problem. Anyway, on the 4th time we brought the car into the dealer which was less than 2 weeks ago and it sat there for 4 days in the same spot. After realizing how much my wife and I loved our Honda Civic, last Sunday when my father in law got his crap car back from the dealer which only had 6000 miles on it, he traded it in for a Honda Civic.
+WWMMWWWMMMWWWWMMMM yeah, if it was the 392, okay then get a manual. if I spend $60k on a 700hp+ engine, then I'm gonna want the most out of that engine, which is via automatic transmission
The Hellcat is probably the only exception to get a muscle car in a automatic. It's a bit quicker. Not to mention finding a hellcat in a manual is nearly impossible.
I came just to see the reaction.
Same here lol
+Richi Garcia same haha
+Ivan Pineiro We all came to see Matts reaction because its authentic, you see your self in his shoes with the same reaction. Well done @subaruwrxfan
+Ivan Pineiro me too lol

Lmfaaoooo yo. That's funny

He said 707 horsepower at 7:07 lmao
Video inception!
I can't get enough of how psyched you get when you see/experience something you really like on a car you review. You are really passionate about what you do, love these reviews.
That intro music was SO appropriate for this car. And the dark menacing black paint to match! Great review and so much fun :D
agreed
I usually don't comment but the music from the rolling shots at the beginning was on point. And I love how people joke about your reaction but we'd all have the same romping on one of these. Keep up the great work Matt, cant wait till the next one!
Thanks Josh, I appreciate the comment and glad you enjoyed the video!
+Josh Ansin ill second that. the music in the intro clip for the car was very fitting!
bet the 15 Mustang GT is gonna do this to me.
+subaruwrxfan can u review the 392 plz

Not good in bed? Don't worry I have a 707 hp car..
I hear a little haterism in your comment lol
+Brian Walker how is he hating?
Lol hahaha
+Eli Perez unfortunately I"m not certain girls see things that way lol
+Eli Perez i don't think that has to do anything. It's dodge. It's awesome
Man..u went from 25 yr old to a 12 yr old...in like 4 seconds..:D
+kingfisher111 More like he turned into a 12 year old girl.
12 year old could drive this car better, he isn't even driving it like he stole it 😏

The car is so sick...one modification being drag radials and it's a 10 second car! Awesome review man I bet this was a blast to drive!
Love my SRT 392. 0-60 4.2, 1/4 mile low 12"s.
I love this guy. He always looks like he's having so much fun in every video.
One of the best badass weekend cars for the working man!

Which would you rather have, a Camaro ZL1 or a Hellcat? I like the Hellcats interior and power better, but I think the ZL1 looks and handles better. It's a tough decision for me.
+Ten and Two the simple question you need to ask yourself how often do you plan on going to the track.

+rocker85675 Dude stfu lol, you reply to every single person's comments talking crap on Dodge, just don't watch the vid if you don't like it
I really like that you are actually excited about the car and not just like everybody else just like you do it everyday and don't appreciate it
I know the real ones are patiently wait for these to touch $35k
Can get one for close to 40 now with low miles!
I don't know of anyone else on the planet who enjoys cars the way you do, Matt. Good review.
Lol, says last of a “dying dying breed” several years later comes The Demon, the ZL1 1LE, ZR1, GT350 and the coming supercharged GT500 lol
I love it, I can see the awesome power in your face, this is a fun video. Not the boring too much numbers videos other guys do.

Hands down best modern car to buy with that power and price, looks and character
itsbasil1126 2018 mustang Shelby gt500 is coming with 740+ hp and 680ftlb and less weight is gonna kill the hellcat
Carlos Alba "it's coming" way later than the hellcat
Carlos Alba i dont think so
Carlx Hittman check the 2009 Shelby snake it's making 750hp and is older I just find out
Pookinator 10 if they did on 2009 with the Shelby snake I think they can do that one more time
I'm loving every car review you make! You don't make this channel boring you make it exciting especially your reaction when you floor it! Keep up the good work bro!!!

agreed new camaro looks ghey as hell
Camaros are boring as fuck and ugly looking! Only one thats keeping them alive is the zl1 lol
@@Grimr33fer Ugly? That's subjective. Boring?? Not even in the same galaxy as true.
I think the Camaros look alright, but they're pretty small on interior space. Mustangs too, at least in comparison to the Dodges.
Man the shots at the beginning with that background music were AWESOME. Amazing editing work, fit together very well!
Not as dramatic as i thought to be honest, not that thats a bad thing. Though, you looked like you had more fun in the BOSS 302 with half the power!
Because manual
+ThatAlexKid That was because he wasn't able to put his foot down all the way driving this from 1st gear.
+PlainN SimpleMan in my household, we own a jeep and a dodge, too much problem, never buy American again.
youtube commenter Yup, I know man. I have Honda cars and they are absolutely great reliable well built cars that last.
My dad got me a dodge and it started overheating on the second day,,,
Terribly made cars.

+Pepe The Frog Dam you Pepe!

+Pepe The Frog I Know If You Buy Any Challenger You Buy A FUCKING MANUAL But I Like The Charger!
Your excitement was totally transmitted through this video. Thanks!
Hairy ass arms. Lol
lol, i can't stop staring now
Glad to see you finally get to review the Hellcat! awesome review and worth the wait.
Automatic.
I'd want an automatic in a hellcat, goes faster with quicker acceleration. sorry to burst your bubble. anything over 500hp is better in automatic.
+tefrumpzax it can be 10000000000000x faster than the manual, but at the end of the day, you bought an auto muscle car.....
I love my Manaus, but if this was the clutch would feel like you were doing leg presses
Your reaction to these fast cars are priceless! Keep up the good work.
i enjoyed watching how happy you were in this video while reviewing the car.i felt the same way when i brought my hellcat home
Your enthusiasm is infectious and appreciated. Great job....
I love seeing the reaction when it comes to a car. Priceless !
I can just imagine rolling up to school senior year with this car. Damn the looks.
Intro music is perfect for this car! love your reviews!
